Panoramic Ocean View Villa - San Jose del Cabo

Enjoy amazing views of the Sea of Cortez, hear the waves from Punta Bella, and feel the warm ocean breezes at our Los Cabos home. It is located in the gated community of Rancho Cerro Colorado, 7 minutes from downtown San Jose del Cabo and 20 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. With large entertaining spaces, a fully outfitted gourmet kitchen, a heated pool and hot tub, and three bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds, it is the perfect place to enjoy your Los Cabos vacation with family and friends.

Our newly renovated house includes an open floor plan with an expansive living room, large dining room, and spacious cook’s kitchen. It is a wonderful house for entertaining with large open spaces, stunning views, and comfortable high end furnishings. Covered terraces connect the living and sleeping areas to the outdoors on each level, and to the sunny terrace with its own heated saltwater pool and hot tub.

Three bedrooms, all with ocean views and comfortable king-sized beds are found downstairs. The master bedroom includes an en suite bath with large soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanities. The guest bath, shared by the two additional bedrooms, includes a double vanity and spacious walk-in shower.

The house is outfitted with a Sonos sound system in all rooms, as well as, American television in the living room.

The beautiful white sand beach, Punta Bella, is just a short 5-minute walk away, and the calming sound of the waves can be heard from the house. Palmilla Beach, one of the finest beaches in Los Cabos, is a 20-minute walk along the shore.

The town of San Jose del Cabo, just a short drive away, offers an abundance of fine restaurants, art galleries, shopping, and more.

The perfect hosts

Rich and Rick very graciously moved out of their lovely home to allow us to escape LA for 15 days during which we were planning to celebrate my wife’s (special!)birthday. Tatiana organized a special Lobster and Steak bbq dinner - with her husband as Chef! Spectacular job, make sure you have this man cook for you. And Rosie, Tatiana’s business partner, provided great table service. The house is lovely, and easy; the setting is gorgeous. Everything the area has to offer (which is a lot!) is readily accessible. The hosts, as mentioned, are 5 star. But waking in the morning in a very comfortable bed and, without even lifting my head from the pillow, watching the spray of the whale’s breath rise from the Sea of Cortez as the sunrise lights the scene, is definitely next level. Not to be missed, and certainly never to be forgotten. Thanks again guys, hope we can get together for that martini next time! 😀

Absolutely beautiful!!!!

This home is truly beautiful with amazing views of the SEA OF CORTEZ!!!! We saw whales jumping daily and the sunrises each morning were spectacular!! We spent time with our two daughters and their spouses. Each bedroom is set up perfectly to view the ocean with sliders walking out to the private pool and hot tub. Each day started with coffee on one of the two covered decks eventually sunning in or by the pool with a cocktail... 😎what a great place to relax and enjoy all the views. The kitchen definitely has everything you could possibly need !!!! This home will not disappoint!!!! If you rent a car, you can enjoy Cabo or San Jose ( my personal favorite) both are very easy to drive to for shopping, exploring, or dining out. The art show on Thursday nights in San Jose are fun and festive for sure! I’m definitely giving this home a 5 plus stars. You won’t be disappointed. Ps, Tatiana is amazing and gets 6 stars!!! Thanks for everything!!! We won’t hesitate to come back Kevin and Debbie from SHUEYVILLE IOWA

Amazing!!

My family stayed at Casa Ricardos January 3, 2020 - January 11, 2020. We had a absolutely amazing week! Unfortunately my luggage did not make it to Los Cabos Airport so it started off a little rough. However, the moment we got to beautiful Casa Ricardos and were met with a smile by Tatiana many of those worries melted away. She went above and beyond by contacting the Airport to help track down my luggage. She even called when the airport transport was at the Rancho Cerro Colorado gate to ensure someone was home when they delivered the luggage. So thankful to her! The property is truly stunning! My family of 14 (ages 5 to 70) also rented the neighboring property. The convince of being together was outstanding! The 6 family members that stayed at Casa Ricardos found the rooms to be very comfortable. Storage in all the bedrooms is unbelievable. The kitchen is truly a dream! We cooked and ate all our big meals at Casa Ricardos. The big living room provided a great place to play games in the evenings. The grounds and pool are beautiful! While we were there we saw many whales breech and jump right in front of the property. The beach directly in front is amazing, but if you want a little bit calmer waters trying going to the beach public access to the left. We did rent a car to make the trips to the beach a little more manageable as it is a big hike back up the hill. Other than going to the grocery store and the beach with the rental car, we used Uber. This is a very affordable and convenient way to get around San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Casa Ricardos is amazing in every way and my family would definitely recommend this property! Awesome spot with a view

Wonderful house (the pictures do NOT do it justice) that had everything we needed for our first family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. Pool was very popular as well as the beach. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Trip out to Flora Farms is a must!!

Fantastic Home with Breathtaking ocean views!

We stayed here for 6 nights in late March, 3 adults & 2 young girls. We all instantly fell in love with the home, inside & out. The listing photos do not do this home justice, at all. The interior of the home is beautifully decorated & furnished and all of the windows allow you to take in the spectacular ocean view. I couldn't get over the beautiful dining room area with the brick ceiling, cool light fixture & floor to ceiling windows. It's truly an architecturally-stunning feature. We left the windows open & had a wonderful ocean breeze all day & night. I am a professional Chef & found the kitchen to be more than adequately equipped to make just about anything that we wanted. All of the appliances were brand new & high-end. There were tons of plates & glasses, even melamine versions to be used at the pool! It was also so well laid-out & spacious that many of us could gather there at once easily. (Also, the grocery store across the highway, Fresca La Comer, was probably the nicest grocery store I've ever been to). The beds were all very comfortable, the AC units worked well & there were tons of big towels for both the baths & beach. We had lots of hot water & great water pressure as well. The bathrooms were beautiful & had tons of storage. We used the private beach 4 times during our stay & were usually the only people there. Having beach chairs & umbrellas was SO convenient. We greatly appreciated all of the wonderful amenities that were included with this property. There was even a really nice pair of binoculars that I personally used SO much to view all of the whales that were constantly swimming right behind the house. I've spent hundreds of days in Cabo over the years, mostly on a fishing boat, and had one of the best whale-watching days of my life while staying here last week. We saw mother's with their calfs, over 100 breaches and all sorts of whale water-ballet. It was a day to remember. Overall, we can't say enough nice things about this home. I see that the nightly rates have gone up since we booked this trip which is a bummer but I must say that it is still a bargain for what you get. We've stayed in $1000 a night homes in Cabo that were no where near as great as this property. Thank you Rick, Rich & Tatiana for the perfect week in Los Cabos. This place is a real gem. Rich and Rick’s home is breathtaking we had an amazing time. Tatianna the manager was amazing.

We had an amazing time staying at this home it was breathtaking from the minute we walked into this amazing home. Rich, Rick and their manager Tatianna were so acomadtining and concerned with our comfort and fun while we were here can’t say enough about the way we’re welcomed and accommodate during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a choice. The private beach was so provate it was just our group one day and no one else. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and views from both every day! With the recommendations from them we had no lack of great activities and raatraunts to visit. We will definitely be back, no other place would work for us after this experience. Top notch!! Your own piece of paradise

Rich & Rick were so welcoming, and were attentive to helping us plan the perfect family vacation. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with fresh cut flowers and a view that was absolutely picturesque. The villa was well equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils to make our own gourmet meals, or if dinning out was what we preferred, they made sure to provide us a list of their own personal favorites that did not disappoint. The private beach was exactly that, and was a short drive down from the villa. The community was gated and a guard was on duty at all times, which made us feel safe. We had a wonderful time, and hope to return soon. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Just wonderful!

We were from 29.12.2017 to 10.01.2018 San Jose del Cabo! In short, it was not our first vacation in Mexico but by far the best. The villa certainly deserves this name! Located at one of the highest points, in the center of the protected Rancho Cerro Colorado area, all the terraces and rooms offering breathtaking views over the Cortez Sea and the entire complex! Immediately after entering the villa you are in a loft-like, large, very elegant and stylishly furnished living area. On the right hand side is a dining area with round dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen! From the living room you can step out onto the upper, covered terrace.In the morning you can enjoy the sun here. In the afternoon you can relax in the shadow. the lower floor of the house! There are the master bedroom and two more bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms share one bathroom. This is equipped with two sinks, a walk-in shower. The whole bathroom is lined with sand-colored, polished natural stone. Fluffy bath rugs flatter the feet. All items such as soap containers, etc. are made in Mexico! The bedroom are equipped with AC, Fan a large bed and a build-in warderobe. From the bedroom you have direct access to the lower terrace and the pool! The pool can be heated, what to me as a German sounds strange! While enjoying the sun by 28 C there is no need at all to heat a pool! We enjoyed swimming in that pool but had much more fun at the beach. After a short five minute walk down hill you reach a "private" beach with perfect white sand an mostly gentle waves. We've been there every day and enjoyed water and sun! Please be aware that the way back to the house goes up hill and might take ten minutes! :-) The complete house is equipped with AC and fans. Close to the living area is a half bathroom. A Rental Car is a must have here! Aftr a short drive you can reach the main super market and the old town of Cabo. What to say! Enjoy the house, enjoy the view, enjoy the sun and the ocean and have a great vacation at this wonderful unique place.

My partner, Rick, and I began traveling to Los Cabos eleven years ago. We purchased a home there in 2017 and now spend a good portion of our time there. We find it to be an incredibly beautiful place with fabulous weather, amazing beaches, warm ocean waters, and lots of fun activities!
We've decided to make our home available to folks who enjoy the comfort of staying in a residence rather than in a resort. We find it makes it easier to connect with the local lifestyle, explore the surroundings, and relax without the hubbub of other vacationers getting in the way.

We were looking for a house with great views, near the water, that is peaceful and quiet. This house met those requirements and many more. It is only a five-minute walk to an almost private beach that is often deserted and generally swimmable. It's just a short drive 7-minute drive to San Jose del Cabo, a quaint town with a vibrant arts scene, great restaurants, and traditional Mexican architecture. The house itself is beautiful with a dramatic living room, gorgeous tile clay tile floors, a large kitchen, and views to the Sea of Cortez from every room. It also has a swimming pool that shares the amazing view.

We've done our best to make our house in Los Cabos feel like a real home. It's decorated with comfortable, high end furnishings. The beds are incredibly comfortable. And the views go on and on. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, and stocked with all the utensils, pots and pans that you might need. It's a great house, where you will feel like you're in a home away from home. We also have a wonderful property manager who can provide you with anything you might need, from providing you with a private chef to cook an authentic Mexican feast, to arranging a sport fishing trip or other activity, to providing great recommendations for the best local restaurants.
