Graduation Family Gathering

The property is wonderful. Four bedrooms plus a bonus guest/office room with a small bed was perfect to accommodate extended family for the festivities. Plenty of space (and bathrooms!) for all. I love the convenient location near Costco where we made a couple trips, and easy freeway access. The host was thoughtful and communicative. I love that there was so much outdoor space. Five stars all the way. :)

Great stay

Our experience in SLO was accentuated by the wonderful property we stayed at. We were there for 2 months in the summer and enjoyed the beaches nearby, wonderful restaurants, and farmers markets. We loved the outside spaces and spent a lot of time simply enjoying the wonderful outdoors, relaxing and reading. The home was a perfect size and beautifully organized. There were notes about everything we needed, and fun places to go. We loved the closeness of shopping and the park 3 blocks away with walking trails. Everything was so convenient! Our property manager was always available and helped us several times. I can't say enough about the house that was so well appointed; it had everything one could need and more. We will definately return for more fun and relaxation! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first time! This time we stayed a month with my parents as well as my wife and our two girls. My brother and his two kids came for a few days as well, and with 5 beds and 4 baths there was plenty of space for all of us. The layout of the house is perfect for us, with the large master suite affording some privacy, and multiple indoor and outdoor areas to congregate (plus all the bedrooms and baths). And SLO is just wonderful in the summer - sunny and warm and beautiful during the day and then just cool enough to be comfortable at night. The house now has AC but we never needed it as there is generally a cool breeze. The location is great - near Laguna Lake and a shopping center and just a couple of miles from downtown. I would bike into downtown in the afternoon to work from a cafe. SLO also has a wonderful public swimming pool that we used frequently. Plus you are close to Avila and Pismo Beach. Bree and her associates were very responsive and helpful with any questions or issues that arose. Love this place and hope to come back again!

Great and Charming Place

We stayed here for a month and loved it. It is even cuter and more charming than it appears in the photos. The layout worked great for us with so many bedrooms, bathrooms, and different outdoor spaces. The backyard was great for our young daughters to run around in, and they could even rider bikes and scooters on the quiet street outside. Nicely decorated, extremely organized and well stocked for a long stay. The neighborhood is great - you can see Cerro San Luis and Bishop's Peak from the front of the house. You can walk out the front door and hike up Cerro San Luis (and we did)! Maureen, Brandon, and Bree were very responsive and helpful. You can tell they really love the house and take good care of it. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The perfect home away from home

We had a wonderful vacation at Oasis on Avalon with friends, celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect for us nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance to coffee shops, grocery stores, shopping and hiking at Laguna Lake. Itā€™s a short drive to many beaches, wineries and downtown San Luis Obispo. The house and its amenities were so much like home that we felt so comfortable just hanging out, cooking dinners in the well-appointed kitchen (and outdoor grill) and sipping the local wine favorites by the fire pit. The house is spacious and very clean with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, each beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfy that I slept in every morning; then enjoyed morning coffee on the covered patio watching the hummingbirds enjoy the floral landscape. I plan on returning next spring for a girls getaway with my sisters. I cannot thank the owners of Oasis on Avalon enough for their gracious hospitality.

Perfect Vacation House - Great Location!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Avalon house! The house itself has a great layout - tons of space, a huge yard, a fire pit and several cute little patios (I think there are 4 separate outdoor seating areas.) We ate outside every night and spent a ton of time on the bigger patio off the living room. The house has a great feel & is decorated nicely. It's also super clean and well organized. We had everything we needed & Maureen had even made a list of where we could find even the most random things (a pack n' play for our baby, beach chairs, a cooler etc...) It was so thoughtful and made everything really easy. The location is also amazing- it's in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance to grocery store + other stores, Starbucks and a beautiful park with a huge lake. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and so many things to do in SLO. We spent time at the beach(10 mins away!), went to the most incredible farmer's market downtown, and ate at some great restaurants. We also went to Edna Valley and Paso -where we tasted some really good wines & had a lot of fun exploring up the coast. The Avalon house was the perfect home base for everything we did. There's no question. We are going to rent this house every time we come back to SLO & would highly recommend to anyone!

Easy, Luxurious CA Living!

This is a beautifully maintained and luxuriously appointed property in a great central location. The home is on a quiet residential street that is close to downtown SLO, all beaches, and wonderful hiking trails. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom which our group of four couples really appreciated. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the home and the area immensely. We already have booked our return!

We fell in love with the whole Central Coast region while our son was attending Cal Poly. We have spent many fun times in this house with our 4 children and our grandsons We are retired and spend lots of time in SLO but also like to travel to other places. We enjoy sharing our home with other travelers who enjoy hiking, beaches and wine country.

Central to everything: beaches, wineries, shopping, downtown, farmers markets. We walk to do most of our shopping and there are numerous beaches and wineries within a 20 minute drive. This is a quiet neighborhood but we do have 4 security cameras on the outside of house so we can monitor our home when it is empty. We turn the cameras off when it is occupied.

Comfortable home with lots of space for a group of 8 or less. Well equipped kitchen since we like to cook, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels and lots of outdoor seating to spread out and enjoy the beautiful weather.
