"The Woodland Escape" sits completely secluded on 3 private acres of quintessential Colorado land, but is less than 2 minutes away from town, offering you the best of both worlds. If renting during the winter months you will need 4X4 drive to make it up the main road and driveway entrance!
This home offers 6 bedrooms, and 4.5 baths. One room/bath combo sits in a private apartment over the second garage, just steps away from the main house. (More detailed bedroom layout below)
This location offers many activities to keep you busy all week long! Hang out inside in the media room where you can play a round of air hockey, foosball, or lounge back on the giant sofa and catch a flick on the 110" projector screen! Or, head into town to one of the MANY activities the area has to offer; take the kids to the dinosaur museum or the north pole, go for a private walk with a wolf, or head to the major attractions all within 30 minutes or less (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, and more!)
Grab a cup of coffee from the coffee station, and enjoy the warm Colorado sun on one of the many patios, and you might just see some wildlife. Animals that frequent the area are deer, elk, fox, wild turkeys, and the neighbor's friendly dog, Rocky.
BACK"YARD"
The back of the house offers 2 fire pits, one in ground wood, surrounded by benches, and one gas, which sits in a table for gathering and eating. Unwind in the hot tub, maintained and cleaned between every visit to ensure top notch sanitation.
ROOM LAYOUT
~ The Master bedroom is on the main level of the big house, and features a King Size bed, private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower with 3 shower heads. This room also has a television, loveseat, and private access to the back patio, just steps away from the hot tub. The mattress is made of memory foam and a dream to sleep on. Firmness level, 6/10.
Upstairs in the main house has 3 bedrooms
~ The first room is a queen room, with what we think are the best views in the house. With its country chic decor, you can unwind and take in the breathtaking views. This room has door access to the next room to be privatized, or works great for a family who needs two separate beds. The mattress is a memory foam/ spring hybrid and offers pristine comfort. Firmness level 6/10
~ This connecting room features a queen bed, gorgeous views, and a fireplace! Connecting to the library, you're sure to enjoy! The mattress is the ever popular Tuft & Needle, firmness level 7/10.
~ The bunk room was designed to be a blast for kids, but comfortable for adults. It features 3 twin size bunks, and a queen size futon. The clubhouse style bed, television, and USB wall inputs will provide a place for the kids to play and want to stay, leaving the relaxing to the adults!
~ The bottom level bedroom offers 8 foot ceilings, a queen bed, and semi-private bath. This bedroom is ideal for those who don't do as well with stairs, as it requires no stair to get to, and is on the same level as the media room, which is where a lot of gathering is sure to happen. The mattress is also a Tuft & Needle, firmness level 7/10.
~ Last but not least is the private apartment over the detached garage. This room has a queen bed, private bath, lounger, and private coffee station and outdoor seating. Sit on the deck and take in a breath of that fresh mountain air!
~ We also have two queen size , top quality air mattresses, with full bedding. The media room couch can also easily sleep 2-4 adults or as many kids that want to pile on!

ABOUT THE OWNERS
~ This home is owned by The Ray Family. Keith, Jennifer, & their two little boys ages 4 & 1. They have worked diligently to make this home as enjoyable to stay in as possible, for everyone in the family! We've teamed up with Woodland Park locals, Aleana & Nolan Goodall, to provide immediate response for activity suggestions and on-site assistance should any issues arise during your stay. We will do everything in our power to ensure this is your best vacation ever!!
