This multi family home has over 7,000 sq. ft. of indoor space. Built in the exclusive gated community of Hacienda Pinilla's Reserva de Golf, our guests have full access to the incredible facilities, 5 different white sand beaches, Avellanas beach club, 18 hole beachfront golf course, Wellness centre, Gymnasium, Horseback riding, Spa, Mountain bike trails, Tennis courts and more. In addition we have some of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica, right next to our BEACH CLUB on Avellanas Beach. The unique and thoughtfully built home provides a one of a kind experience to travelers who want luxury and privacy in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.
Hacienda Pinilla is a 4,500-acre luxury beach resort and gated residential community situated within a dry tropical forest and vast wildlife refuge.
An excellent golf course virtually "in your backyard" completes the exclusive atmosphere for lovers of this sport.
Casa Blanca features 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and spacious living areas. Every room was designed to provide an unforgettable view. All bedrooms have remote-controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
On the first floor, you "ll find an open floor plan, which includes a large open kitchen with a breakfast table and three bedrooms. All open to a large swimming pool.
Upstairs, There are three bedrooms, each of the three bedrooms has remote control air conditioning. The masters bedroom suite are a honeymooner's dream. And to make Casa Blanca as comfortable and familiar as home, you'll find a full kitchen, washer/dryer, cable television, air conditioning, and high-speed internet.
Right next to the swimming pool is a separate guest house with two bedrooms and a small kitchen.
Enjoy the pool and the attached rancho-style BBQ area.
Dining out can be what you want; eat at one of several excellent restaurants in Tamarindo or the JW Marriott inside Hacienda Pinilla's gates and less than a mile from Casa Blanca.

The house is wonderful and in a great location. We got to celebrate our 50th anniversary there with friends and family. Great trip. Natalia, Dani and JoAnn handled any problems we had and were great hosts. Would recommend for anyone with a big group. Costa Rica is a great place to visit. Lots of things to do and friendly people.

Nice House and Nice Neighborhood

We rented this house for a family reunion for 16. It worked well for both grandparents and 18 plus age grandkids. It backs up to the golf course which is nice. I strongly recommend renting golf carts to get to the beach club as is a long walk. The large private community has tennis, horseback riding, a beach club and golf.The host was helpful whenever it was needed. The house nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is small for a house this size but we made it work for cooking for a large group. I would suggest a more fully stocked kitchen with larger pots and pans as that was a bit of a struggle when cooking for a large group.The outdoor common area was comfortable and used a lot. The indoor living room is comfortable but upstairs which is fine if everyone in group can navigate stairs.Overall great trip and beautiful house and area. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Very nice

The house is beautiful and the property manager was great! It’s a very roomy house and the yard is absolutely beautiful as well the pool was so nice for the kids and if you’re a golfer this is the property to rent, I suggest renting a car so you can see all the beautiful beaches near by and to visit Tamarindo and the beach club which was also awesome!! You will not be disappointed in this home.

Family vacation

We had 10 adults and two children-for most of us this was our first time in Costa Rica! Casa Blanca is beautiful, spacious & perfect for entertaining. We enjoyed the out door gazebo, grill, hearing the monkeys howling in the trees across the fairway, & the iguanas that came to visit! During the day if we weren’t off on excursions, we were enjoying the pool! The Beach Club is lovely & a short Golf cart ride away. You pay a daily rate of $10.00/person, but save your receipt because they will credit your bill for that day. Jaime, our concierge, was quick to respond to our needs. He was most helpful with our golf cart rentals & very patient with the many questions we had about this area of CR. In hindsight, I would’ve asked him to stock our kitchen for at least the first night’s stay as our flights were delayed, which prevented us from picking up our rental cars, which kept us from getting to the grocery store! Luckily Jaime found someone to take us (for a price!). Natalia, the host, is very nice and called/texted with many GREAT suggestions. One bedroom/bath downstairs had bugs (luckily we didn't need this BR), and there were tiny ants on one counter in the kitchen. We were disappointed that the pool & foosball tables were not there as advertised. Couches/comfy chairs downstairs would be a nice addition since that's where we spent time together in the mornings and evenings preparing our meals. Despite these minor issues with the house, our trip was wonderful! Pura Vida!

Wonderful Stay!

I stayed here with a big group of friends the week of my wedding. It was an enormous house -- perfect for a big group! It was clean and beautiful!

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful. Unfortunately, only 2 out 5 bathroom showers were working in the main house. The owner attempted to have them fixed, but they never were. The neighborhood is a really nice, but you need a vehicle to get to the ocean because the neighborhood is so big. The big Tamarindo beach is only about 20 minute drive away and we found it really worth it. The owner was lovely and receptive, but unfortunately the shower situation was very difficult.

With the existing damage and urgent need for repairs I feel the pictures misrepresented what the property actually is. This property in its current state is not ideal for families with children. There were live exposed wires in multiple places. The tub was cracked and remedied with tape. There is no hot water in several bathrooms. Cabinets brackets were not attached. Appliances have broken/cracked buttons. The grill needs to be lit with a manual lighter, but is so corroded that most of the burners would not light. The pool was not circulated until Day 3 and was so cold, we were unable to use it. (No heater) There is a termite nest above the main entrance and termite damage throughout the house. Hacienda Pinilla is a phenomenal property that we have enjoyed multiple times, this property does not represent that community. We shared our feedback and photos/video with the property manager and were appalled with the justifications of the existing neglect.

Paradise Found in Costa Rica!

We had an amazing holiday in Tamarindo at the Hacienda Pinilla property! The house was beautiful--lots of carved wood and floor to ceiling windows. With the surrounding trees and beautiful landscaping, it was like our own private paradise in the jungle! The house was large and clean and had everything our family of 7 adults and 2 tiny kids could need. The kitchen was well stocked--we ate almost every meal there. There were two bedrooms on the top floor and 3 on the bottom floor, plus a little studio apartment right next to the pool for our newlyweds! The landscaping is gorgeous--the pool was great, there's an outdoor, covered kitchen/cooking area with barbecue and fridge. There's also an outdoor pizza oven! On our 2nd day, we discovered the Beach Club exclusively for people staying at Hacienda Pinilla and we ended up spending most of our trip there. It's a hidden paradise with the best beach in all of Costa Rica! There were wonderful shells all along the beach, a cool tide pool with all kinds of sea creatures, and a sand bar which was perfect for our little ones to play in the ocean. It was also the perfect place for our teen and young adults to learn to surf! For a nominal per person entry fee, you had access to a large, gorgeous pool at the Beach Club with umbrellas and comfy chairs, a gym, a restaurant which had delicious food (try the Mahi Mahi tacos!), clean bathrooms, and an entire beach! We also went to the little, charming town of Tamarindo for shopping and the beach--which was great! We loved this property and Natalia and Dani were wonderful to work with! Natalia set up a deep-sea fishing adventure and also massages. Dani lived 5 minutes away and met us at the property and showed us around, answered all our questions, and throughout the week helped us with all our activities. We will definitely be back--hopefully to this hidden gem in the Hacienda Pinilla Golf and Beach community!

Beautiful Home

Loved our stay here. Beautiful home that goes on for days. We enjoyed the pool table and loved every minute spent by the pool. Natalia set up massages for all of us at the house and that was dreamy. She was so helpful and easy to reach whenever we needed her. Our favorite part of our trip was Henry! We used him as our daily driver and we became fast friends. We really enjoyed the river tour he took us on and feeding the monkeys was a highlight. Recommend a trip to Lola’s. Beach is beautiful and food is delicious. We did find one scorpion inside the home by the stairs so watch where you are walking. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the distance from town and from beach club. Felt a little land locked at times. Thanks again for the amazing adventure.

Spacious estate on golf course

Natalia was a fantastic host. She was very communicative and gave us all the details in advance of our arrival. The home is beautiful and spacious. There are big glass windows that make it feel as though you are outside. The guest house is close and offers additional sleeping. The area is also very nice. The house is located inside a gated community. The house was clean and offered plenty of sleeping for our group. Would love to come back again.

Excellent Vacations with family and friends

A very nice property, with lots of space for a great vacation with family and friends. We enjoyed all our stay and also appreciate the great service provide by Natalia checking if there were any problem or request from us. Those who knows Pinilla and areas around (Avellanas, Langosta, Tamarindo, etc), enjoy every activity available. We thank Natalia and the owners for letting us enjoy last week. Hope to be back soon.
