House was great fit for my family. Gorgeous deck with water below. My only problem was the rail out there covered thick in bird feces. We didn’t sit out there because of it. Loved the pool table.

The location was great and we enjoyed the deck overlooking the river. The housekeeping service could improve. Blankets in the bedrooms needed washing. Need new sheets and pillows.

Perfect house for attending a wedding at the Gruene Estate. Excellent facilities, very comfortable. Pool table was a bonus.

The home is beautiful and it was clean. We only had a few issues. Some of our ladies had a hard time stepping up on the porch as the first step is tall. We had a problem with the TV as it did not work in the living room. The last 2 days there were large amounts of dead flies in the master bathroom.The house rules are to set the thermostat on 76 during the summer but that is way to warm, we were HOT! Since it was over 90 degrees outside this was way to warm in the house even with ceiling fans.I would go back to this house again but maybe in cooler weather.

Some areas of the home were a little older (bedding, pillows) but overall a great location. It was actually bigger than we anticipated. Check in and out was super easy. We really enjoyed it.

Great stay!

Great stay! Big house with lots of beautiful views. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area and the outdoor patio. Loved how comfortable the beds were and the proximity to town. The shower did not work and the plumber never arrived. All the faucets have an excess of gunk built under them that if cleaned with vinegar they would run more efficiently. The dishwasher was also not working. The door was broken so it could not be used. I did already let you know about those things. The coffee pot needs replacing. It is not working correctly and we couldn't get it to make a full pot. Thank you for the stay

Wonderful house

House was perfect for our group of 6. It could easily accommodate more. Beds were all pretty comfortable compared to many rentals we've stayed in. Nice open Floorplan and nicely decorated. Outdoor area is nice and river views are nice. Only improvements I would request is a new coffee maker. It takes 20 minutes to make a pot. There is a kuerig if you like those but the filter one is very slow. We requested a later check-out which they accommodated for a small fee. I would rent this house again. Great location for Gruene and New Braunfels attractions.

It was a nice stay. All positive except there was no TV reception, and could not cast from phones to TV. If you are a football fan, bring your own Roku…

Very nice place

This place was awesome and really clean. We loved seeing the deer in the yard. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of room for a huge family. Gruene is literally right down the road. Can't ask for a better location. Only thing we wish is they would fix the access to river or have a place renters can access the river close to the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Texas Hill Country Paradise

This property was perfect for our group of 9 ages 60-2. There was enough space for everyone to have their own room and bathroom! The kids could play and run around in the front or back yard. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the house. The gem of this property is the deck! We spent every evening on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the river. Even though neighbors are close and town is not far, it is very private. There is so much wildlife as well. Things to note: The bed sheets are low quality as is the toiletpaper and paper towels. They don't let you have access to extra paper goods, trash bags, and complimentary cleaning products so we had to buy extras. We probably could have asked them to supply more but chose not to. None of the negatives would prevent me from staying again. This place is special!

Great location and house

The property was as good as advertised. Very spacious and clean. The view from the back yard deck was amazing. Close to Historic Gruene Hall. Highly recommend this property.

Hill Country Getaway

The property was as advertised. Communication with property management company excellent. This home is spacious and perfect for 3 couples. We each were able to enjoy our private bedrooms and attached baths. Deck overlooking the river was better than the pictures let on. Location to Gruene is very nice, although too far to walk after dark. Location to river road excellent if you wish to enjoy the attractions there. It is an older property but well maintained and well stocked for a very comfortable stay.

Rented the property for my adult kids and grandchildren so we had placed for everyone to stay for awedding.The home is even more beautiful than we expected and there was space for everyone. The setting and location are just beautiful. Everyone from the adults to the kids loved the home. Thank you for this beautiful offering.

Lovely home

It was a small family get together of sorts. We played cards, pool, cooked out, watched movies, sat on the deck over the river relaxing and watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine, perfect. There was plenty of room so everyone had space and my parents could have their siesta and watch the news (loudly) without drowning us all out. The house is close enough to everything and we enjoyed the resident deer in the front yard.

House is Great but Not Issue Free

This house is perfect for large groups! It’s a fantastic location (very close to all Gruene has to offer). The backyard and view of the river is absolutely amazing! We really did have a blast! That being said, there are issues with hot water in the showers. We could not get hot water in the master or downstairs bathrooms. Strangely, it worked everywhere else (even in the sinks and tubs of the bathrooms where it wasn’t working in the showers). Property company was very responsive and admitted the water can be troublesome in the house. They had us reset the water heater instead of sending someone out to resolve. Their reasoning behind that was it often works and is quicker. It did not work for us. There were 9 of us that had to share one shower. I just want anyone who chooses this property to be aware it could be an issue for them as well. Outside of that, we had a lovely time there.
