Have it all at the best location in Nags Head!
drive less than 5 minutes to the ocean front Village Beach Club for the pool, tennis, snack bar and private beach access. The Beach Club offers special activities daily for children and adults (Google Village Beach Club Nags Head for more info). Pay only for food/drinks. You will also have access to either of (2) private, Soundfront parks where you can fish, swim, go crabbing, kayaking or just sit and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the Roanoke Sound. Golfers? Enjoy access to the on-site 18-hole sound-front course and driving range. Better yet, just stay at Sunny's and relax in the upper deck Hot Tub. Great for starwatching! Sunny’s Spot is furnished with all the comforts of home and beach essentials. Bed, bath and kitchen high-quality linens are provided by owner at no additional cost and beds will be made-up prior to your arrival. A welcome package will await you with food and drinks to enjoy as you move in. For your shopping convenience, the Outer Banks Mall is within easy walking distance and has groceries, restaurants, Urgent Care and shops for your every need. The home is about 1300 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, private Master with extra large walk-in shower and private deck; Queen Bedroom; 3rd bedroom with pyramid bunk and twin trundle for up to 4 children - or very nimble and "good sport" adults. We are situated in a golf course community (Nags Head Golf Links) so there is a neighborhood feel and very limited traffic.
There is a well-stocked supply of books, games, and puzzles and DVD's as well as an Xbox 360.

RENTALS AFTER SEPTEMBER 10 ARE CONSIDERED OFF-SEASON AND DO NOT INCLUDE ACCESS TO BEACH CLUB AS IT WILL BE CLOSED EXCEPT FOR LONG WEEKENDS THROUGH THE END OF SEPTEMBER AND CLOSES FOR THE SEASON OCTOBER 1. HOT TUB IS AVAILABLE UNTIL NOVEMBER 1. CONTACT OWNER FOR MORE INFO.

Sunny Spot is an amazing vacation home. Joyce was the best owner. She reached out to us as needed and her home was stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. My family loved the hot tub, easy access to the pool and ocean and a nice walk to the sound pier. Our week went by too fast!

Our first time to the OBX & how beautiful it truly is, especially Sunny’s spot! Thank you Joyce for renting your place to us. It really has everything you could hope for…. Comfortable, spacious, clean, convenient to get to the Village Beach Club and the Food Lion directly behind us. The soundside park/ fishing pier is a nice 5-10 min walk; great sunsets and fishing spot. We definitely look forward to staying here again

This wonderful 3 bedroom house minutes away from the beach in a private community was the best! Very nice neighborhood, house has everything you need for a normal day to day living and being close to the sound is a plus at sunsets. House was super clean, check in was a breeze and there was plenty of beach toys and chairs. The host was super reachable and helped out with a few questions almost immediately. I’m not sure I need to look for a better place next time I visit. Thanks!!

Great mini vaca

It was a wonderful stay. It was a short vacation, but we packed in a lot of different activities. We were able to go parasailing and even got my mom to go parasailing with us. We went to the aquarium saw Roanoke Island went to the museum and spent a lot of time playing on the beach.

OBX Family Vacation

We had a lovely stay with our three small children and two adults. The property was well equipped for our visit. The beach access was a short drive with dedicated parking but provided a nice location to play in the sand. The property is located near lots of amenities and family friendly activities.

First OBX trip in the books!

This was our first trip to OBX. After browsing through so many reviews, we settled on Sonny's spot. We were glad we did! The location is close to everything... groceries, dining out, and several tourist locations. The beach/pool access was a short few minute drive. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed walking to the pier every night to watch the beautiful sunset. We appreciated all the amenities this home offered. Joyce had beach toys, mats, beach wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, etc which would have taken so much room in the car for our drive from home. Kitchen was well stocked as well. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to OBX!!!

Wonderful stay!

We had 2 families staying with us, including an infant, toddler, and 11 year old. We all had a wonderful time. They have really thought about everything you could possibly need, especially for the beach. We were able to check out the private beach access and pool and loved both of those as well!

Well Stocked

The house and our stay were great. Short walk to the sound, and short drive to the beach. I’ve never stayed in a house as well stocked as this one. Overpacked is an understatement as Joyce had everything you could ever need on a trip. Thanks for letting us use your home.

Very cozy and relaxing home

We loved staying here. The beds were comfy and all the blankets were super soft. The hot tub was awesome and the hammock swing was relaxing to rest in. We left a little early since our dog was so anxious about being in a new environment. Having the outside shower and all the beach supplies and cart was a huge plus.

Absolutely perfect

The home was just perfect. It had everything we needed and then some… myself, husband and 3 boys fit perfectly. There was so much do at the house alone, we didn’t need or want to leave. Warm and comfortable

We brought our 16 month old and furry baby with us and everyone had a great time. The dog loved the toys and the baby loved scaling the stairs. The house was so well equipped that we didn’t need anything additional except food. It’s been lovely and we will be back!

Lovely home, well appointed

This house is as described in walkable golf community with shuttle to and from beach/ pool club that my daughter and friends took advantage of. Everything clean and worked. Massive shower in the master bath (not a necessity but so massive worth noting). We enjoyed beach days and good Wi-Fi on the days we worked.

Cozy and fun

The property had everything that we needed for a great family vacation. Access to the pool and beach via the clubhouse was fantastic. The personal touches of snacks for us and treats for the dog were so thoughtful. The floorplan of the home allowed for privacy when needed with plenty of space to gather together as well. The accessibility for wheelchair is a bonus for those who may need it. Joyce was very great with communication all along the way.

We have been travelling to the Outer Banks for many years since moving from Colorado to North Carolina in the late 80's. We fulfilled a pre-retirement dream when we purchased this property in late 2017. We have invested in improving the property and now are grateful to be able to share it with other vacationers who we are confident will come to love the Outer Banks as much as we do. We feel so blessed to be able to share this amazing area with our children and grandchildren! Our dogs are very much a part of our family so we are happy that we can invite other families to bring their 4-legged family members on vacation with them!

We chose this property primarily because of the location. The Villages and specifically Nags Head Links is truly a community. It is so very different and superior to those areas where the houses are in open areas with no real connection to each other. Here, where 35% of the homes are owned by year-around residents, we feel a real connection to our neighbors. The Soundside parks at sunset are a beautiful gathering spot where neighbors meet and share conversations with other neighbors. The security of living in a community is also a real plus. Mostly, you cannot beat the location, being so close to shopping, medical facilities and of course the Village Beach Club and of course the water!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have tried to provide all the comforts of home and welcome input form our guests as to how we can better furnish and equip the property. The furniture, beds and layout are all set up with comfort and convenience in mind. There is a great selection of books, DVD's, games and puzzles available if our guest want to stay in and rest up from all the great activities available in Nags Head and surrounding area.
