Palisades/Squaw Valley Village 2BR Luxury Condo With Mountain Views

Our family is renting our beautiful condo in the Village at Palisades/Squaw Valley. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath top floor corner unit is flooded with sunlight and views of Red Dog lift & run. The vaulted ceilings give this unique unit a spacious feel. The condo is in the heart of Squaw Valley's vibrant shops and restaurants. Park your car in our underground heated garage.

Note: We DO NOT rent to anyone under 25 and we may require proof of age .

The master bedroom has a plush California king bed. The 2nd bedroom is perfect for adults or kids with a queen/twin bunk beds. The living room has a brand new pullout couch.

The unit has high-speed internet and a 50" TV.

2-day minimum, long weekends, 3-day minimum.

Our condo is one of the largest 2 bedroom units you can find in the Village. We have 1,063 sqft floor space, with views of the Red Dog chairlift and mountain. There are two bathrooms including a large master bathroom.

Being in the heart of Squaw Valley Village, there may be sounds of live music, over-night snow plowing (music to my ears!), and the occasional car alarm.

Beautiful place, so convenient!

The condo is a top floor, corner unit - very quiet. We enjoyed the view from the condo, and high ceiling. The condo was beautifully furnished - like a high end-hotel! The owner was very responsive. The coffee bar just downstairs was amazing. We woke up at 8, enjoyed the luxury of breakfast & coffee and still made it at 9 at the lift! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

Gorgeous unit with breathtaking views!

This unit was perfect. We have stayed in several units over the years at the Village at Squaw and this was by far our favorite. The location, size and decor were amazing. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The whole unit had such a great feel. The vaulted ceilings with the panoramic window views were breath taking. The owner Norman was great to work with! You would not be sorry if you chose this unit! It’s more beautiful in person than the pictures! We love the Village at Squaw!!

Adequate

Expected a larger unit for the price, although was adequate. Not a luxury property as advertised. Could use a plumbing upgrade. Also, would have been nice to have had more than one bar of soap in bathroom. Thought we'd be closer to ski lifts than we were.

In the heart of Squaw!

Great home! Corner unit with tons of light, incredibly clean, and lots of space. Both bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious. Kitchen has all necessities (silverware, pots, glasses, etc) Dinning table to fit 7 and living area with comfortable seating. TV is new and good sized. Host was quick to respond and a great host. Highly recommend to families or small groups. The village allowed for all dinning needs, shopping and skiing. Parking below units in secure lot.

Location, Views, Decor - Phenomenal!!!

We spent a weekend away at this beautiful condo and had an incredible time. I would highly recommend renting. Our host Norm took care of every detail in advance providing us with information about the unit, parking and all the fees. Upon arrival, there was a small basket of treats waiting for us. The condo is on the top floor of the Squaw Valley main lodge with incredible views of Red Dog and KT-22. The high vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and well-designed interior made for a 5-star stay. The condo is very spacious and has two bedrooms and was perfect for our family of 5. The second bedroom has bunk beds. We hiked the trails, dined in the downtown, had breakfast and lunches in the condo and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The kids swam in the pool and the hot-tub and I even got a workout in the downstairs in the gym. We will definitely rent here again.

Do NOT rent this condo! The owner SCAMMED our security deposit!

BEWARE! THE OWNER FALSELY CLAIMED OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT! We rented this condo and after arrival emailed the owner numerous times about a broken toilet seat, broken smoke alarms, broken lights in the dining room so we had to eat with little or no light, broken ice maker, broken telephone... the list goes on. We got no response except when we were leaving to say “thanks for letting us know” only to have the owner claim we had caused all these PRE-EXISTING issues including a broken slat under the master bed (which destroyed my husbands back to the point he couldn’t ski and had to repeatedly see a chiropractor for later [more $$] but which we thought was a bad mattress so we didn’t report). I am 60 years old and have rented homes all over the world and NEVER had any issues. This guy charged our card a HUGE unauthorized security deposit to pay for all HIS deferred maintence, claiming he needed to buy new furniture and repaint the walls (apparently there was a little grease we missed when we cleaned the kitchen wall by the stove and we left our trash bagged and tied in the kitchen and there were too many towels to wash). That’s what his (hefty) cleaning fee was for! I am STILL in a dispute almost 5 months later trying to get the falsely charged security deposit back and we didn’t even complain about the fact that the condo is misrepresented- it is as far away as you can possibly get in the Village from the lifts and right above the bus stop that causes so much noise from before you wake up until late at night, stopping doors opening and closing and idling at all hours RIGHT under the master bedroom window. Instead of Home Away it should be STAY AWAY!!!
