The house was clean and welcoming. It was spacious with lots of activities to do inside and outside the house. The clean heated pool was a big hit for the family. The jacuzzi was also clean and worked great. The volleyball court in the back yard was a blast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances . There was almost a TV in every room and a game console in the basement entertainment area. There were ample places to eat inside and outside. We used the black stone grill a couple of different times and it worked nicely. The neighborhood was away from the hustle and bustle but it only took approximately 15 mins to get to a Meijer for groceries and other items. We would stay again if we have another family reunion in the area. Highly recommended.

Richard, it sounds like you and your family really made the most of your time at Peaceful Waters! We loved having the whole crew, pups included! Between swimming in the heated pool, unwinding in the hot tub, some friendly volleyball competition, and putting the Blackstone to good use, there was certainly no shortage of fun! We especially enjoyed hearing how much use you got out of the home, both indoors and out. With eight adults under one roof, having plenty of options for everyone makes a big difference, and we're happy the home worked so well for your family. Thank you for choosing us for your reunion and for being such great guests. We'd love to have everyone back for round two!

We had so much fun! What a great property. It’s very well appointed which was greatly appreciated. The pool was the best thing about it! We didn’t need to go anywhere because the kids didn’t want to leave the pool; and the gift basket of Smores was a nice surprise and wonderful for the campfire. The host was very easy to get in touch with and dealt with our question in a timely manner. Having 2 tables was great- one for gaming and one for puzzles and fit our large group easily for eating. I could go on and on; but instead I’ll just say that I highly recommend this place!!!

Sharon, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! It was a pleasure to host you and your loved ones at Peaceful Waters. There's nothing better than hearing that a vacation home became the destination itself. Creating a space where families and friends can unplug, spend time together, and make lasting memories is what Peaceful Waters is all about. Knowing the kids were having so much fun that nobody wanted to leave the pool, and that the surprise s’mores basket helped make your campfire evenings even more special, is exactly the kind of experience we hope every guest enjoys. Providing responsive communication and making sure our guests have everything they need is always a priority. Your kind words truly mean a lot to our team! Everything was great. We enjoyed ourselves greatly. I only thing I wish was the deck from inside could have been handicap accessible for my mom to enjoy watching everyone play outside or have dinner outside with us. She still had a blast and we were grateful to find the indoor handicap accessible as sometimes it’s hard to find for family vacations.

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was such a pleasure to host you and your loved ones at Peaceful Waters. We’re thrilled to hear you all had a wonderful time and were able to enjoy the home together. We also truly appreciate your feedback about the deck. I wanted to let you know that we do have a portable ramp available in the front closet that can be set up at either of the sliding glass doors for easier access. Many guests prefer to set it up near the master bedroom, which provides convenient access to both the deck and the master bath. Normally, if we know in advance that a guest will need it, we’re happy to have it ready before arrival. We do wish you had reached out during your stay, as we would have gladly set it up right away. Thank you again for being such wonderful guests—we would love to host you again in the future!

Family in area for wedding. Comfortably accommodations on both levels. All the rooms good size, and home well stocked. Great gathering spaces for eating, conversations and game playing inside and out.

GRAND RAPIDS VACATION HOMES

Hi, I'm Robb Baar!

I started renting out my home after being transferred to Minnesota for work. The positive feedback from my guests was nothing short of amazing! Since then, my brother and I have expanded our portfolio to include three more properties, and we take great pride in delivering an unforgettable "home away from home" experience to our guests.

I, Robb, am a financial adviser helping clients find the most efficient way to pay the least amount for college and maximize cash flow during retirement. Over four years ago, I moved to Roatan, Honduras, an island in the Caribbean. When I'm not assisting clients, I indulge in my passions for fishing, scuba diving, and traveling while working remotely.

Meanwhile, John holds down the fort in Michigan, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and our guests' needs are met. Together, we've assembled an exceptional team to guarantee that your stay with us in West Michigan is nothing short of top-notch. Don't just take our word for it – our hundreds of 5-star reviews speak volumes about our commitment to making your Grand Rapids Vacation Homes experience a resounding success!

We sincerely appreciate your choice to stay with us. We look forward to hosting you!
