We had a wonderful stay in Nantucket! The house was spotless upon arrival, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower with all the essentials. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location!

We loved our stay at this amazing home! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind with a great yard, plenty of bedrooms, multiple living spaces, and a large eat-in kitchen! Not too far from downtown, so it is the perfect location. We will be back!

Nantucket Red house

We spent 5 nights at the beautifully renovated Nantucket Red house. Our family of 6 were more than comfortable in the bedroom spaces and the open eating/kitchen/sitting area were perfect for our many gatherings. The neighborhood is in a centrally located spot with walking trails right up the street. We rented bikes from Easy Rider bike shop and loved Ladies Beach, Bartlett Farm, and Cisco brewery. We brought our car on the ferry and packed a lot of food and drink. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need and we made s’mores on the outdoor fire pit. Tara was very helpful in our planning of the trip and she made check in/out seamless. We’d love to visit again.

Nice house in a quite neighborhood

Everything was as expected except for the fact that the house doesn’t have AC. We should have checked before. There are plenty of fans around the house but if you like a very cool house, it might get too warm in the summer. There were like 10 bikes of different sizes in the basement, although we didn’t use any of them but they were available. Will stay in the house again.

Relaxing & Spacious

We were traveling for work & this house was perfect. It was spaced out nicely so everyone had privacy with the kitchen acting as the heart. We worked long days and enjoyed many team dinners in the dining room. The owners were really communicative and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

We were a group of 8 and this house was perfect for our stay on Nantucket! Checking in process was easy and the host were very accommodating and responsive. Would absolutely book again !

Nice family property with responsive owner!

We enjoyed staying in this Miacomet property. Some of the amenities we really enjoyed were the private bathrooms in 3 of the bedrooms, the half bath on the main floor, the outdoor shower, really nice gas grill and gas firepit. The dining room easily seated our whole party as did the outdoor patio table. There are ample dishes, flatware, and glassware in the kitchen, which has ample space for preparation and cooking. We also appreciated the option of using beach towels, chairs and toys supplied by the owner. Most of all we like the location, where we could Ride our bikes to Cisco, Surfside, Dionis, Sconset, Cisco Brewery, and Bartlett Farms. Good stay in a place we love!!

Great place!

Our staff enjoyed their stay here. It was a great house and a great location. Only complaint is that there was no air conditioner. Not a huge issue.

Perfect in so many ways....

I've been vacationing in Nantucket for over 20 years, and have stayed all over the island. When we first stayed at "Nantucket Reds" (@5 years ago) we stopped searching and have been lucky enough to book here every year since. What's perfect about it... It's located close enough to downtown to bike or cab in 5-10 minutes, but on a dead end street ending with a bike trail for peace & quiet. Kids can play in the yard as you BBQ with friends. It's also 5 minutes from Miacomet Golf Course (which since it's renovation has become an outstanding 18 holes of golf!). The layout of the house is outstanding, with 3 separate master bedrooms (private baths in each), on opposite ends of hallways upstairs, and the 3rd on the first level, equally cut off. In additional a "kids" bedroom next to a half bath. The house is outfitted with classy but comfortable furniture, including a huge dining room so cooking in is still a treat, as well as an outside deck/grill area with teak dining for @10. The kitchen is opened to the eat-in area (separate from the main dining room), and flows into the living room with full sectional. The open floor plan in this part of the house is great for sitting around with coffee/breakfast as you plan your day, or unwinding at night. Lastly....a private outdoor shower, one of life's simple pleasures! You can't go wrong by spending your Nantucket time at this house. p.s. I'm already booked again for '11, otherwise I'd be afraid of posting such a positive review. ; )

Fabulous layout!

I stayed at "Nantucket Reds" over Labor Day and just loved it!! The house has a great layout with the private baths in each room. Really makes a difference when staying with another couple with kids! Also, being slighlty out of town makes for great star gazing at night - still can't believe how starry the sky was. Yet it's not too far from town to make going out at night easy & accessible - just a quick cab ride. All in all, a great time!!!

The owners, Tom and Tara Kilgarriff, live in Westwood Massachusetts. We LOVE Nantucket. A perfect island day for us is packing a cooler and driving our truck out onto the beach. Staying all afternoon and watching the sunset is magical.

Our neighborhood is quiet and backs up to Nantucket Land Bank walking trails. Our central location also makes it an easy drive to just about anywhere on the island.
