Beautiful 2Bedroom/2 Bathroom Villa

Development was very nice. Friendly community & well kept pool & club house. Convenient to restaurants, shopping & beaches. Villa needed work. When we arrived bathtub was clogged & 2 sink faucets needed to be replaced. Owner responded quickly to that problem. Oven was not clean. The tv’s didn’t work because remotes needed batteries & one needed relplacement. One remote was so sticky we needed to use a paper towel to hold it. We wanted to enjoy our stay without complaining to the host. Renters pay a cleaning fee & should feel the unit is clean. We feel the price was too high for the accommodations. Would not rent this unit again.

I would not rent again to this unfair human being. Someone who comes into a beautiful villa complex and into one of the best units (other reviews will testify this). Kathy was very pleased with the cleanness of the unit and how well it was stocked up, everything you need for a great vacation (she was saying). We responded immediately, always close enough to be able to help quickly. The bathtub was not clogged, she just didn't turn enough to open the plug properly. We never replaced her faucets (specially not two).... obviously it's not true....she just wants money back from VRBO, as she cannot efford high-seasonal prices.... exactly what she says at the end here. Yes, we replaced batteries in one remote immediately when reported. The sticky remote did not belong to the house, someone left it behind, a gaming remote which we took away.

Nice house, quiet area

Great little property. Everything was as advertised, except we could not get access to pool area. Listing said access until 10pm, but signs around the pool said it closes at 6pm.

Association posted a 6 pm closure as a one-off as on that day they discovered a pump issue and was waiting to be repaired the following morning which was indeed fixed. Emergencies we owners only get notified from Management Co the day after if the emergency happens after hours or news gets to Management Co late on the day. We apologize for the inconvenience This is to confirm that the pool's normal hours are from dawn to 10 pm as it is a lighted area.

Stay in Sarasota

We enjoyed staying at this location. Home was very nice and clean . Some things are a little dated and worn, like dishwasher and blinds on windows. Pool and hot tub also very nice.

Liz, thank you. My villa is beautiful, all newly remodeled, spotless as you say. The dishwasher did work, you just did not close door properly, however now NEW DISHWASHER we installed. The blinds are a wear&tear items, lots of new ones are in the closet if one is missing/broken. Now BLINDS are all NEW and replaced. Those are easy fix issues, please next time call and we come and show you immediately how things work or fix issues. I take my rental business very seriously and available 24/7 for immediate action. Great place

This place was great! It was steps from the pool and tennis courts and the complex was in a good location. The pack and play and other baby items were a huge help. Bea was responsive and easy to work with.

What a great place to stay & great host to work with!

Our family had a really terrific stay at this property. The location was convenient and we found the house was stocked with most everything we would need to days at the beach. Owner/management was great to deal with, even providing some local restaurant recommendations. When we had some trouble with the icemaker in the freezer, the owner was super-responsive to get someone on-site to fix it, and even bring us bags of ice. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Very pleasant stay. The house is spacious and with good amenities. The distance from the house to the beach according to Google map was 12 minutes not 5 minutes as it had been understood in the overview of the house. But in general everything was very good.

5-7 mins to reach Siesta Key (our island in Sarasota), immediately when you come of the bridge there is a spot to park right to the beach - you just have to know it! (of course, if you go all the way to the large 200-car county parking, all along the island, it can take an extra 10 mins)

Perfect time in April

We had a wonderful week. We were surprised by the advanced age of the house. But it's still very welcoming. Some minor work would make it much more welcoming, such as redoing the joints in the bathrooms. It's unpleasant to look at, but doesn't detract from feeling good.

Marie, thank you Since you were holidaying with us, after you left, all bathroom joints and faucets were changed, had to schedule plumber, didn't have time on your check in date. So now everything is new!

Nice villa 10 miles from sarasota

Location was 10 miles +/15-20 minutes away from most sites and minimum 6-7 miles from beach vs online mis-description that it was 1/10 mile away from sarasota center. Good condition and nice layout and space although little dated. Poor lighting in the complex , a little hard to find the corner address that was hidden. Also surprised to find cost doubled by vrbo fees.

Nina, if you stayed 10 miles from Sarasota, you did not stay in my unit!!!! Everybody can look up the address! - no comment here. All my units are fully updated. 1/10 miles from Sarasota is true as we are right in Sarasota (vrbo sets the distance upon address) and yes, as you say 6-7 mins from lovely Siesta beach. Sarasota is a vacation town, stretched out and all my properties are right where everybody wants to be at, less than 10 mins from Siesta beach. Sorry, some lights were burned out (association has repaired it now). Yes, vrbo states their fees before you book. It is all clear. Thank you! Yes, nice villa!

Uncomfortable

The property was clean, but the air conditioner did not work properly. There were cautions about putting it lower. It obviously needs a new air conditioner. The beds were the most uncomfortable we have slept on in years. The condo itself was stuffy and smelled musty. We did not sleep and left after one night. We would not recommend. The map location on VRBO is about 15 minutes north of where the place actually is located so the location was not what we expected either. Overall not a positive experience.

Yes, thank you. Very comfortable - everyone says it! All reviews 5-star! You came in bad weather & rain, sorry out of my control. We are very clean, we take pride in our business. No restriction on AC usage, the note only states please gradually lower temperature so correctly operate AC, but no restriction on how low you go. When you enter, put AC on! New AC, works perfectly! We have two sets of mattresses which we change according to your liking, some like it soft, some like it hard. But if you say nothing, how do we know????? We ask you to call and request whatever questions/problems you may be. Note asks you on the wall and by email also, please ask! After you left, there is nothing we can do to you. Beds are now changed for brand new mattresses. The location map is by VRBO, so out of my control, but everybody can map it by address, right?

Beach Trip

This was a very nice villa! The community was also very nice and clean. The owner was very responsive regarding a minor issue with the cable. We enjoyed our visit!

Beware of listing it is not where described. Beware of owner she takes no ownership over errors on VRBO and Expedia. We stayed here because it is listed as downtown and had good reviews. Reading further reviews we see others have pointed out the location errors which the owner stated she wasn’t ever informed of. The owner blames vrbo, Expedia and myself. The address she lists is a smash up of 2 different addresses. I had to request true address a day before leaving because we heard nothing up to that point. We stayed at the condo because I had no trust in getting a refund from this crook. It is located next to a dead mall and a 50 mph road. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. This posting will result with another inappropriate rant from the owner without doubt. She will be reported to authorities. Beware of this place!!!

We loved this condo, would rent here again!

This rental was absolutely perfect for my husband and I for our 28 day stay. I wanted something that felt like a home away from home and this fit the bill. The floor plan is so nice and open, it feels more homey than other rentals of similar size. The master bedroom is very spacious with a giant walk in closet. So nice that the owner gives the renter use of this entire closet. We brought quite a bit of stuff including our two cats and had no problem feeling cramped. We loved the really nice skylight in the main hallway that brightens the place up so well. Great touch. Despite sharing a wall with the neighboring condo, I did not hear one peep through that wall. I would've thought no one was over there if I hadn't met the renters myself. It's very soundproof and the neighborhood is quiet as well. Very close proximity to the community pool, you can actually see it from the lanai. There's also a little deck attached to the pool area overlooking a peaceful little pond with a variety of birds. One pet peeve of mine is low water pressure, and that was definitely not a problem here. In the kitchen and the showers, the water pressure was perfect and the faucets are obviously newer. Never had a problem getting water as hot as I wanted it both in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We also loved the location. We enjoyed nightly after dinner walks doing the 1/2 mile loop around the community which is private and felt very safe. It is close to anything and everything you would need like grocery, pharmacy, retailers, restaurants. Only a few miles from the bridge to Siesta Key and a short 15-20 minutes to downtown Sarasota and the airport when traffic was light. The owner was an excellent communicator when we had any questions or needed anything. She really went above and beyond to help us enjoy our vacation.

Amazing getaway!

This is an terrific property with and even more wonderful and gracious host. Everything in the home, community and neighborhood was exactly as described. Bea went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. She has thought of everything and stocked the villa with every pool/beach toy that a family might need. Top quality and we are already planning our next stay there.
