This newly remodeled dog-friendly two-bedroom apartment, located within walking distance of downtown Anchorage, is perfect for vacation, convention and business travel. Our midtown/downtown location provides easy access to city excursions as well as a great springboard for any Alaskan adventure. You can walk, bike, or drive to a number of restaurants, shops or museums, or look for wildlife on the city’s 120+ miles of trails with easy access across the street. There’s even a vibrant city park with a fenced-in dog park, located half a block away at Valley of the Moon Park. Apartment amenities include two queen beds, free Wifi and Cable, 65-inch Smart TV, in-unit washer & dryer, walk-in shower, and a fenced in dog-friendly yard. Keyless/smart lock door entry allows guests secure, easy access and check-in flexibility.

We, the owners, live in the adjacent duplex unit with our furry family. You may encounter our friendly dogs Alice and Sally when accessing the unit. The front door of the rental is inside the fenced yard. Should you have any questions we are only a phone call (or a knock on the door) away.

Great long weekend in Anchorage

The property and owner were great. Location was perfect for getting around town and everything was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

WOW!

This place was beyond perfect! Great location, adorable place and awesome property managers. Clean and just perfect for our stay. This place is dog friendly so it made things so easy for our 2 Frenchies. We cannot day enough good things about this property. We will most certainly stay here again on our next visit! No doubt. Extremely nice place

Very clean, roomy place to stay with a cute outdoor area. Durelle and Andre were super nice and provided tons of info about the area that was very useful. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Place was great! Super comfortable and clean- Andre and Durelle really put thought in how to make guests feel welcome in their home. They were available if there were questions or concerns (which we had none because they had everything laid out for us).

Perfect Anchorage Retreat

My wife and I loved our stay in the Northstar property in Anchorage. Super clean and like new two bedroom apartment with well-appointed kitchen, bathroom, living room, in-unit laundry. Quiet neighborhood but well located, only minutes from downtown. Owners are most gracious. We highly recommend for Anchorage stay.

Fabulous location on the trail system, beautiful property and setup

This is an immaculate property, with stylish decor. Durelle really pays attention to detail, right down to the dog bowl and treats. Condo amenities were all top notch, and had everything we needed. Alice, the resident dog is a shy sweetheart that was a great pal for our dog. Around the corner, Chester trail is a beautiful walking path, and is a nice end of the day walk to where it meets up with the Coastal trail. Plenty of places to eat nearby, and the airport isn’t far, about a $12 Lyft ride. We highly recommend this place, and will be looking to stay here again on our travels !

Just as advertised

Great owners who are easily accessible during the stay. We had a minor blip with the entry system and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY. Friendly and we’re willing to compare notes about our plans and offer up suggestions when asked. Their dog is slow to warm up to people. If you stay in mid to late July you’ll be pleasantly pleased with their HUGE raspberry bushes that produce a ton of fresh fruit. Coffee maker and filter, washer and dryer with soap are in unit. Perfect for the price.

Great experience

The location was perfect for getting around downtown but not feeling like you are right in the middle of a busy city. The rental was SO clean when we walked in which was a huge positive for me. We felt comfortable and had everything we needed from the tools to make breakfast to being able to get our laundry done before the next leg of our trip, I would highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to Anchorage

Excellent place to stay

Everything was really nice. The place was clean, nicely decorated (new and modern), beds are very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook in. Great communication withe hosts. Easy access to everything. Great place to stay if you are doing the Anchorage Marathon. Thanks!

Great location in quiet Anchorage neighborhood.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this extremely clean and cozy duplex. The owners were great to work with and very professional. When we arrived we were greeted with a bowl of fresh fruit and an assortment of snacks. We loved the binder it was full of great restaurant suggestions and answers to any questions we had about the living space or Anchorage. If you would like to be close to downtown and stay in a quiet neighborhood this is the property for you! We highly recommend this living space if you are planning a trip to Anchorage.

Great location and very comfortable

This place was great. Very clean and comfortable living area. All the amenities of home and a 65” smart TV to boot. Location was right near downtown but still very quiet. I would definitely recommend to anybody traveling to the area.

Just Right

The apartment was lovely & just the right size for my husband, our son, and me. We stayed a week, were very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Durelle and Andre we're flexible with our arrival and departure times, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Durrell's and Andre's apartment, an ideal Anchorage VRBO.

We stayed at Durrell's and Andre's immaculate apartment during Christmas break while visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Anchorage. It was a perfect place to stay. The apartment itself is comfortable, updated and well equipped and the location, in a quiet neighborhood very near downtown was excellent. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms are all great and the bathroom is modern with a huge tile shower. The Chester Creek trail, which leads to the Coastal trail, is 50 yards down the street, and we enjoyed its fantastic cross country skiing (which is groomed and also lighted at night). We also frequented the nearby Fire Island bakery, a must destination in and of itself. Durrell and Andre were wonderful hosts, very accommodating to our needs, friendly and accessible. We will definitely stay with them again on our next visit to Anchorage.

We moved to Anchorage in 1999, and after close to twenty years of living here we are happy to call Alaska our home. We love to fish, camp, and explore and love to share our local knowledge with others!

We love our neighborhood! We rented in this neighborhood for many years before we purchased our duplex. We love the close proximity to downtown, the greenbelt and trails to walk our dog, as well as being next to mid-town and all the shops and conveniences available. This is as close to wild Alaska as you can be while having the comforts of the city.
