We had a wonderful stay at this Wareham home, start to finish. Check-in was super easy. The location was fantastic—private and surrounded by trees, but still just a short drive to town. The single-floor layout was comfortable and very well-designed. We especially loved the beautiful stained glass in the master bathroom and the skylights that filled the living areas with natural light. The house was very clean, and while there was a small issue with tiny ants in the kitchen, it didn't impact our stay. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Great, spacious and clean

Great stay. Lots of room. We were 6 staying in the house and there was plenty of space. Place was clean. Would have liked a broom and a mop to clean up, but otherwise great!

Amir and his family were great guests! Very friendly , quiet and clean.They are welcome back anytime! They were easy going and warm people. I recommend them to any host. It was a pleasure having them as house guests!

Friends Vacation

The overall house was exactly as described! Plenty of room for all of our friends. Ernie was an amazing host, helping us add an extra night. The house was secluded but close enough to all the beaches and reaturants. The hosts left phamplets of things in the area. We definitely would stay here again when we come back to the area!

Excellent Location

The house was in an excellent location for our family. We traveled to Boston/Newport/Cape Cod/Plymouth. The house was just about 45 minutes from everywhere! We couldn’t have picked a more centralized location! Ernie was a great host, who checked in on us via text message during the week just to make sure all was ok and that we didn’t need anything! The house was very roomy and accomodating for my family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again if ever visiting the area! Your friends from WV! John and family

Beautiful House 30 mins from Falmouth Ferry

We absolutely loved this beautiful home in a perfect quiet location. It’s only a couple of minutes from the cove as described and 30 mins from Cape Cod (we went to Falmouth to take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard). The house was clean, cozy, very spacious, and there’s a convenience store just 3 minutes away. Ernie is extremely friendly, responsive, and accommodating! We would love to go back with friends for another getaway! 100% Recommend! Thank you so much, Ernie!

Veronica and her family were absolutely great, very friendly, and caring. They left the house very clean and they followed all of the house rules. Great place

We really enjoyed our stay here. After booking seen a bad review all I can say is the person has never had an older home with the charm this one has. Never seen any bugs other than the spiders outside. This is what I call a country home it does have a six foot fence around the back yard I felt safe out there at night. We rented in a fall month only bad thing I could say is it would have been nice to have a fire pit. Since it was cool but not too cool nice weather for a little fire.

Kimberly and her family were great guests! They were warm , friendly and clean. They were very appreciative and a real pleasure to have. They are welcome back ANYTIME! I would be delighted to host Kimberly again. Kimberly was very helpful and left the house clean, wonderful guest! I would highly recommend Kimberly and family to any host! Great people!

Spider infested, host nonresponsive

We were so excited about our trip, until we got to the property. The house was infested with spiders. The host didn’t respond to our communication. We were so disgusted, we didn’t feel comfortable staying and had to find alternate accommodations. Neither the host nor vrbo are responding to our requests for refund for the unused nights. Pictures are fairly accurate, but don’t show the hundreds of spiders throughout the home. We don’t have photos, but we do have numerous videos…

Hi Michael, thanks for your review. To answer your complaints I do have and had a de-humidifier. This last summer was extremely humid it was a really hot summer. I don't understand what you said about the wiring, I do not have loose wiring.. And as for the price you paid for four adults and you had a whole house ( not a hotel room) / I really think the price was very reasonable for the cape area. Thank you and wish you happy holidays! Plenty of room

I was a little worried that we did not get the address/access code much before check-in, but that was probably because we once got scammed by someone and the property didn't actually exist. But once there every thing was fine. There was no central A/C, but there were window air conditioners in the bedrooms and plenty of fans, so once everything was circulating it was all fine - and it was in the 90's during our visit. Plenty of room for cooking, eating, and lounging. Very easy access for those who cannot do stairs. Overall a pleasant stay.

Difficulties with staying cool

Great host but the property needs some electical upgrades. There was issues with the refrigerator keeping food cold in the large main one and in the smaller one, we were told it was because of a power surge. The living room a/c struggled to keep the large area cool. In the master bath you weren’t able to use the hair dryer if the window a/c was running.

Gorgeous and quiet house

Loved our stay, would definitely come back again. Nice private home tucked away in the trees, and MUCH bigger than it seems. Onset beach was also super close and not packed with people. All in all a great weekend

Relaxing

We had a very relaxing, quiet, and peaceful time at this property. Ernie was very attentive and responsive and set us up to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is spacious and the remodeled kitchen is nicely appointed. The backyard is secluded and offers tranquility and privacy. If you’re looking for a nice, low drama space that is within distance to other things (went to Martha’s Vineyard) this is a great choice. Thank you, Ernie. We appreciate your hospitality.

Over-priced for what it is

House was decent and clean enough. Good location for us (near boat ramp) and ample outdoor space.. Kitchen was a disappointment—broken cabinets & drawers,. House itself had a bad odor. Property manager was surprisingly rude and unhelpful.

Traveler rented the property for Sept 18 thru Sept 20 (check out date). My property has had many excellent reviews. No one has complained about cabinets or odor.. The house is always kept up and cleaned thoroughly after each guest. The traveler had told me she was going to write me a bad review because the check out time is 11am. And she wanted to check out at 4PM which I could not accommodate due to the fact I had someone checking in at 3PM and I needed time to clean . I needed to give my other traveler the same courtesy as I gave to her. I am sure the guest arriving at 3PM would not appreciate seeing someone else there. That's when I was threatened with a bad review.

Perfect Location to visit family

This was the perfect location for us to visit Wareham family! Plenty of room for a gathering place... Guest beds were Fulls , wish they were Queens, but we made it work! Ernie answered all our questions and was very nice!

Great location and more room than we expected.

The house is a 5 minute walk to the ocean set in a very quiet area. We were pleasantly surprised at how much bigger it was inside than it looked from the outside, plenty of room to relax or entertain. The price was very fair considering all that's included. It was very clean and bright. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property and will absolutely stay there again.

VERY DISAPPOINTED AS STAYED ONE HOUR ONLY / VRBO # Case # 17020318

I have sent pix under separate cover but with case number # 17020318 to Taylor at Homeaway . Pictures of sliding door which does not lock & sensors / cameras in bedrooms plus dining area . One im dining area / front room is same as in our house for our15 month old son. The sliding door which opened to deck did not lock. There is board jamming it 50 % only. I.called owner and he said one would have to jump fence in backyard to access . It may be all if 3.5 feet high. My wife felt not safe with a door which does not lock with our 15 month old. Plus someone could access our valuables while we are during day & I am responsible for house, too. Then, the cockroach in master bedroom running across the floor. He was fast as I attempted to stomp on it. Got away. I truly believe a home with a door does not lock plus cameras deem a full refund.. WAS NOT ADVERTISED WITH A DOOR WHICH DOES NOT LOCK AT ALL. How can you expect anyone to reside in a home if doors do not lock ? I believe ad should read all doors lock but one ! Guess what …. I would have never booked or anyone else either….

RE, VRBO CASE 17020318. The couple rented my property from July 18 thru July 20 which meant I could not rent property to any other guest for that period of time. These charges are frivolous and do not exist. The sliding door does lock and there is a 6 ft chain link fence that surrounds the back yard for extra security not a 3 and a half like he mentioned . As for the cameras there is none in the bedroom and the camera in the living room is nonoperational and has never been hooked up. And there is a hanging plant in front of it to block the view if it was working. But it NEVER WAS HOOKED UP! I have had MANY guests and no complaints except for the couple. And about the cockroach there are none and never have had ANY. If he had contacted me prior to his abruptly leaving, I would have answered any of his questions or concerns.

This is a fantastic rental. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. He was available for questions and very kind. The house is a great size and would accommodate most families. Sadly, we were only able to stay for one night, but I would definitely consider staying here again!! Thank you!

Heather and her friends were great guests . Heather was very friendly and personable, and very easy going . Any host would love to have her as a guest, hospitable, kind and courteous. She and friends left the house spotless. She is welcome back anytime. She was truly a delightful houseguest!
