Walk to the Beach - Quaint 2 bed/1 bath lock-out

"Lesser Breeze" – 2 Bed/1 Bath, walk to the Beach on St. Simons Island

Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer you Lesser Breeze! This unique island property was originally built in 1929 and completely renovated in 1996. The house retains the character and charm of a traditional beach house with all the modern amenities. The interiors re-create the original house built in the 1920's by the owner’s grandparents, but with modern comforts.

Lesser Breeze is the 2 bedroom wing of the larger “Fuller Breeze”. Lesser Breeze is located a short walk from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood, one mile to the pier and village on the island-wide paved bike path.

All rooms feature beaded board ceilings and overhead fans. Parking is available for two cars. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator Stack washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor gas grill are available for your use. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do! St. Simons Island is a special place every season of the year. We are happy to share Lesser Breeze with you!


CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons).
• Sorry, no pets are allowed in this unit.
• Parking is available for 2 vehicles.
• 1 block to Public Beach Access,1.2 mile to Pier Village

Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
There is 1 TV located in this property.
• Linens (Bath towels & bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

1 - Sofa Sleeper

NOTE: There are exterior cameras on the back of the home.
NOTE: Fireplace is decorative only. Please do not attempt to use.
NOTE: There are Amazon fire sticks plugged into each tv. Instructions for using SlingTV are included in each unit.

The property was just as described and more! A simple cottage space but so much character like a home away from home. Quiet neighborhood. Listened to birds in the morning with tea on the screened in front porch. Bug free games in the evening on the screened in back porch. Perfectly placed for a quick walk to the beach, dinner, and shopping! Thank you for a memorable getaway.

Wonderful location & roomy!

A very roomy lock out attached to main home. Two bedrooms with comfy beds, a nice size kitchen and living room also. We really enjoyed relaxing on one of the two screened porches. Very walkable to the pier area, other restaurants in a different direction and the beach! Neighborhood was quiet, especially in the evenings. The only thing we saw that could be helpful is to replace/upgrade the microwave….it works, but was very difficult to maneuver. Would definitely stay here again!

Towels left in one of the bedroom hanging behind the door looked like they'd been used. And we had guests - ended up giving the cockroaches names. "Pablo la cucaracha" was humongous.

It was very close to the beach. Note that you will want to have beach chairs if you are visiting the beach as the sand was as hard as a rock. The unit was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our evenings on the screened in porches. Check in and check out was seamless. They even provided recommendations for our stay. We really enjoyed our day trip to Driftwood beach on Jekyll Island.

The home had everything you need - and then some. Kitchen was more than amply stocked- and then there were books, games, puzzles. It was clean, well kept, just a short walk to beach and close to everything. Loved the high ceilings and cozy interior. I don’t have anything negative to say- we enjoyed it so much!

Quaint House with outside space

The house was as I expected. It was quaint with the seashoe atmosphere. I looked at similarly priced condos which may have offered more apartment-like activities, but they did not have personal outside space. May be a small patio.This house had a roomy screened in porch plus space to sit outside.The kitchen was very well stocked with untensils and appliancesExcept for some reason, silverware. On that, I failed to notice right away. Considering a different minor call in to the management, had I called I would expect they would have a quick response. They were good.I had a chance to see the larger area for probably 10 people, it was very spacey with a beautiful public area.No one occupied that area while we were there.I would definitely return

Family House, Near Beach

This is an older house that has obviously been loved by many people. Wood floors, wood ceilings, well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and dishes. It's a three block walk to a very nice beach. St. Simons Island does a terrific job making beach access easy from multiple points, so you can enter at one point and then walk for however long you like along the beach and then exit back to the streets. The two screened porches are great for chilling. Gas stove and oven. We had a few nice days, but most days were rainy so we didn't get as much beach time as we would of liked. Guess that is typical for spring. But the house was a good jumping off point for touring the area. We visited Ft. Fredericka and Cumberland Island, both were interesting visits. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance...this is a very walking friendly area of town. Cocktails at the King and Prince's Echo Lounge were excellent. The whole area was very dog friendly. There was even a "Stick Library" right near the beach for people who needed a stick to throw for their dog. Bird watching was good and the vibe is very laid back and relaxing.
