Thirdcoast Getaway! Your Rockport Retreat! Bring Your Family & Friends

Bring your family and friends (including your four legged one) to Rockport and relax. You will be relaxing minutes away from The Rockport Beach and downtown shopping, in a quiet neighborhood in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, with a roll away bed. Enjoy all the amenities including: a fully furnished kitchen, sheets, towels, BBQ Grill, out door dining on the patio, fenced in back yard, WiFi and a washer and You will have access to the entire house. The garage holds beach items for guest to access, but not available to park in as household items and mower are stored inside. The Master Bedroom has a comfy king size bed with an attached on suite bathroom, double sink vanity. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds, great for adults and kids alike, while the last bedroom is cozy with a queen size bed, and there is a roll-away twin size bed. You'll wake up refreshed and happy every day in the very coastal colors of your vacation home. You may find yourself so relaxed, you may never want to leave! We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do and make sure you tell us of your adventures in the journal while your in the area!
Prior to leaving, we ask that you clean up after yourselves. Carry out the trash, make sure your dishes are washed or you have loaded the dishwasher and start it, sweep up if you bring your furry friends or you've tracked in a lot of sand, start a load of towels in the washer, straighten up, make sure it is tidy.... in other words, leave it like you find it. You're adults and well we aren't your parents and don't want to be!

Rockport and Aransas County require that I collect a 9% tax which will be added upon your request to stay.

Clean up after pets, there is a pooper scooper to help you out. There is a non-refundable pet fee, pets must be included in stay request.
No smoking inside the residence at all, lace butts in trash or in designated ash pots. Do not empty dead bait anywhere on premise.

Our overall stay at 3rd Coast was great, the accommodations were better than we had hoped and the cleanliness was superb. The accessories, cookware, grilling and the space was awesome. Close to the water, shopping, restaurants, yet it gave us privacy, quietness and space. Will definitely stay again in the future and host were awesome!

2025 family reunion

We had stayed at this house in 2023 for our reunion and loved the homey feel of the property. It was like coming home. Lord willing, we will see you in 2027!

We Enjoyed Our Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The nicely furnished house is in a quiet neighborhood and a short drive into town. The large fenced yard was great for our dog.

Little yellow house near the beach

Home was just as described welcoming beach theme. Host was very gracious, responsive and friendly. Would stay again.

Labor Day Getaway!

We had a wonderful time. House was clean and roomy. They thought of everything when it comes to kitchen, bathroom and laundry room supplies. It was a first for us to find coffee and cups, laundry detergent, and towels for the beach! We will book again!!

Just like home

Staying here is like being at home. the house is always clean and well stock with the basic. I have stayed here many time and this will always be my first choice. Great people from the owner to the parents who take care of it.

Great place to stay.

The house is very well laid out 3 bedroom 2 full bath. The owners provide you with. Fishing poles, Beach toys for the kids, Outback there is nice patio a with a Barbecue pit gas or charcoal, Crab boiling station with pot. They really hook you up.. We will definitely stay again and suggest to friends. Jose.kid

Relaxing and fishing

Have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. This is by far the best home for the money at Rockport. The price is low compared to other Homes we have used only because this one was already rented. It is clean with good a/c nicely stocked big back yard and geat owners.

Just like coming home!

Upon entering the house, we were welcomed with a cold blast of AC, perfect for a hot humid summer day.This house was so warm and inviting and welcoming . From the board games to the wonderfully stocked kitchen, it was like we had returned home to visit Mom. Communication with the host was very efficient and responses were immediate. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Charming home, lovely hosts

The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including a large fenced yard for my dog. The neighborhood wa quiet and friendly. I was impressed that one of the neighbors waved to us. We were a short drive away from local shops, restaurants and the coast. Also, if you take the ferry, it’s not a bad drive to Port Aransas. You can take your pet on the beach there and that is something I wanted my pup to experience. Our hosts were very helpful and kind, answering any questions we had. Will definitely come again!

Great Trip

Have stayed here many times in the past 10 years and always a pleasure. House is clean, well-stocked and the owner is as good as they come. always nice and ready to help. Have forgotten my clothes several time. they washed and delivered them to the house the next time we came down. Ask yourself how many times that has happened to you. If your going to Rockport for any reason this is the house for you

Creepy and unwelcoming

Property owner was repeatedly texting about my family being there with me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I went well above cleaning the house before we left. We washed all the sheets, remade all the beds, vacuumed all the bedrooms, washed and put away all the dishes; but the owner is trying to keep my refundable deposit as a cleaning fee. It’s a major rip-off!

Management doesn’t check this property between renters

It’s a nice home and decorated cute. However, it was dirty when we arrived. We had to clean up the floors littered with dog hair and dirt from previous renters. The bath tubs and mirrors weren’t clean either. Not thrilled to have to clean up a weekend rental before you can enjoy the weekend. We will not return nor recommend this property. We left for home a day early. It’s not checked thoroughly between rentals.

No Management

The ice maker in the refrigerator wasn't working and the remote for the t.v. wasn't working. I called the contact person and had to leave a message and asked if she could help us with these problems. Here is her response: "Check the setting. It works but apparently someone has changed the setting. if you cannot figure it out they do sell ice at the CrackerBarrel gas station on Market Street. Sorry but the batteries in the TV remote should be good. We cleaned the house Thursday and had absolutely no problem using the TV Thursday. I don't know what you want us to do to remedy these "problems" as you referred to in your voicemail...What do you want me to do? Bring you a bag of ice? Stop by with some batteries?...Think about your "problems" regarding the home you have rented and all that has been provided. I am not management." We have rented many VRBO properties and have never received a response such as this. She must have realized I would submit this review or got a scolding from her daughter who owns the house and then changed her tune (after we had purchased bags of ice and batteries) and asked us to make a list of everything we have issues with and offered to take care of them. At this point we didn't want to deal with her anymore so we didn't bother to mention that the starter on the ourside grill didn't work so we had to go buy a lighter.

Another great memory

The house as usual was spot less and well stocked with the essentials. Plenty of room for 4 adults to sleep, and kids on the couch. I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. You can pay more but you will never get more than here.

Quiet retreat

Very clean and quiet place to stay. Close to stores and ease of getting around. We talked with Kathy and Joey. We did a lot of cooking there with grill and oven. Used washing machine and really a nice to stay. Will be staying here again.

Great beach house w/ huge back yard!

Extremely clean, nicely decorated with a huge back yard! Lots of extra bedding and towels provided which was nice. We did not bring dogs but just be aware the fence would not be suitable for small dogs as they could get through. Very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Great house in Rockport

We loved our stay at this house in Rockport. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Great communication with the homeowners. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable. Nice to have access to the garage to store our fishing gear. We highly recommend this home and we would gladly stay there again!!

Fabulous Family Reunion

The host was very pleasant and accommodating. We had rented the house because we were having a family reunion on Port A and did not want to stay on the Island. The house itself was very cozy and clean. The location was great and the neighborhood very peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend both this rental and Vrbo to anyone!

Well furnished house

This house was just a short drive to everything in Rockport. It was in a quite well maintained neighborhood. Only noise we ever encountered was what we learned from a local was peacocks in the neighborhood. The house is well stocked with pantry items and cookware. Perfect if you are planning to fix meals at the house while you are there. The wifi was great, and the king bed was so comfortable. I just ordered the same mattress topper after asking what brand it was! The property manager was easy to get in touch with and instructions were easy to follow. We took a small dog and while the yardis fenced, it's with panels so if you have a very small or toy sized dog they could fit through the squares in the fence. Our dog was just large enough it could not fit. Would definitely recommend this place for a family stay!

Great Home!

Property was just as advertised. We needed a home with a long driveway to accommodate a truck and boat which this home's driveway did easily. The garage is probably 50% full of stuff, so you might be able to fit one car in it if you needed to do that. Was not something we needed but just a heads up. The pillows provided are super thin and soft. Not comfortable for sleeping in our opinion. Gas grill outside is not usable due to a rusted burner with a hole in it that creates a flame straight up through the grates. Everything else about the home was perfect. Ample supplies, nice layout, comfy beds and furniture. The small negatives would definitely not prevent me from renting again as everything else was wonderful.

Homey and comfortable

I stayed here with my sister and our 2 babies while visiting family in Rockport. We were very comfortable, so much so, we extended our stay. The house was well-equipped. Felt like a home, not a rental property. The family who owns it was very helpful. Nice to have a highchair for the babies. Very pretty, well-maintained garden. Nice quiet neighborhood; we went for walks with the babies. And the nearby taco truck on Market St, Guero's, was great!

We are a law enforcement family, with four amazing kids. We are currently in New Mexico, working in law enforcement. The day retirement comes we will be Rockport bound, it is our home, the people are amazing and resilient. We love our home and our neighborhood, we know you will as well.
