This serene bay front house has the most stunning beach views and provides some of the best fishing in all of Sargent. Welcome to Double Trouble. This elegant is the perfect getaway located right on the Intracoastal Waterway with a new pool, putt putt course, 2 private fishing piers and so much more!! The fun is endless and the memories last a lifetime!

One of the highlights of this rental is the TWO private fishing piers equipped with the BRIGHTEST fishing lights in town providing excellent fishing all night long for trout, red fish, flounder and many other species of fish! On the dock is a brand new custom built covered fish-cleaning station with electricity, water, and sink.
The home offers a brand new swimming pool with tanning ledge, slide, and huge palapa to hang out under! Brand new 5 hole putt putt course is tons of enjoyment
Sargent is known for its exceptional crabbing and this area is loaded!! We have multiple crab traps at the property for you to use and enjoy! You cant beat a crab boil at the beach!!

The evenings are especially enjoyable watching the sunset and the dolphins swim by in the intracoastal while you relax on the large porch and patio furniture.

There is two charcoal grills available for outdoor cooking.

This amazing home offers three bedrooms and two full baths! One bedroom has 2 twin-sized bunk beds offeeing 4 mattresses. The second bedroom has a full-sized bunk bed with a twin-sized trundle bed offering 3 mattresses. The third bedroom downstairs is called the Captains Quarters and includes 2 more twin bunk beds and a large sleeper sofa that turns into a queen size bed! That is a total of 10 beds! All beds have sheets, pillows with pillow cases, and quilts. This home sleeps 10-12 guests. DirecTV is provided.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need; including refrigerator, stove, oven, dish washer, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee machine, blender, glasses, and much more.

in the down stairs storage room we have a full washer, dryer, and separate fridge for you to use and enjoy. There is also beach toys, and boogie boards you may enjoy at the house or beach during your stay at Double Trouble.

Come enjoy an amazing relaxing weekend in the small quiet town of Sargent! The food is tasty, the beaches are beautiful, and the fishing is amazing!

It pains me to leave this review!!! We love this property, we have visited several years in a row & it's always our go to for our annual beach trip. This year, the property showed it's wear & tear; the living room AC didn't work & there was a huge fan on the coffee table that was effective but not convenient as we have twin 2 year olds. The dishwasher was completely rusted & full of clean dishes when we got there (not the biggest issue, but who wants to go on vacation and do chores lol). The pool was green & the pool guy was working on it most of the day, then it was shocked so we weren't able to use the pool until the last day of our trip. We also lost power for several hours, can't fault anyone for routine maintenance, but it was just another thing that was an annoyance during our vacation. The biggest ick for me was that the kitchen has roaches....The dock was great, the beds are comfy & unlike most properties this house has enough towels to please a crowd!! The AC in the bedrooms are great, but you have to leave the doors open to keep the common areas & bathrooms cool. Love the distance to the beach, the view is amazing & the fishing is so much fun.
Last day of our trip....pool still green
Roaches were everywhere in the kitchen. Especially dishwasher and on countertops at night.

Fantastic!

Our family had a great time! The grands fished from the dock and enjoyed the pool from sun up to sundown each day. Travis was a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!!!

Good set up for close family get together The pool is clutch for action. Sun or shade in middle of the action. Dock area great for fishing. Bait shop near. Enjoy the big boats cruising by. Corner spot has great breakfast tacos also

Definitely a repeat customer

This is the second time we have rented this house for a vacation and I give it 5 stars. The house is clean, has all the supplies and amenities you need. The fishing is also great. We caught a variety of fish including a huge stingray, sand trout, croaker, whiting, and red and very large black drum. The kids loved the pool and spent most of their time going down the slide. We are already planning our third trip. This is my favorite vacation spot at the coast by a landslide! Owners are super friendly and someone comes and cleans the pool during the stay to ensure top notch cleanliness.

Book it

House was little smaller than i had imagined but it ended up being ok because we spent all day at the pool and fishing the house comes with so many activities to do. there's plenty of places to sleep. I'd definitely book again.

Great location for fishing and fun

We took 5 teenage girls down to Sargent for our daughter's birthday. They had a blast hanging in the pool and fishing off the dock. In spite of 100 degree days, the evenings and nights were absolutely perfect with the breeze coming off the Gulf. You can tell this area sustained a fair amount of damage from Hurricane Beryl, but everything at the house was clean and in working order. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cool at night. For folks who like to fish and bring boats, this location is conveniently located close to boat ramps, bait shops, and plenty of good fishing areas. Quick tip: If you ever see a food truck down by the boat ramp at the corkscrew bridge called something like "Rolling Bayou Boil", its great. We had boiled shrimp and crab clusters Saturday night and it was excellent. We can't wait to come back.

Birthday Fishing trip for her

This is our 2nd time staying here at this property...Travis and his crew made sure we had everything we needed for this trip. The pool was amazing and the fishing was great. We will be back next year.

Review for a "Non Stay"

This house was damaged by Hurricane Beryl and we were unable to stay there. Travis was absolutely wonderful to work with on getting our refund. He is a very honest person who immediately let me know the house was uninhabitable due to the damage, no power and no water. In fact he was far easier to deal with then VRBO. Our entire group hopes to go this house sometime in the future.

Perfect Getaway

We decided to do a last-minute trip for Mother’s Day. This was the perfect place. My kids loved the pool and there was plenty of room on the piers for multiple people to fish. The area that the house is in is quiet and not a far drive from bait shops or the beach.

Thanksgiving Trip

This location is good just not exactly what we expected. Great fishing spot the kids really enjoyed the outside facilities. The interior of the property is dated and in need of some upgrades. We spent several days with no lights in the bathroom and had to use the facilities via flashlight which was less then ideal for the price per night. Overall not a bad stay but could definitely use some upgrades to the interior
