Thank you Phillip for your feedback. There is an outdoor dining area furnished with foldable table and 16 chairs that can easily accommodate everyone. We are planning to encase outdoor shower so it is more private. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Thank you for your review. Wear and tear is expected during a busy season and managing an old Victorian property requires specal care from owners and tenants. Where there is a problem, we are quick to respond as evidenced in the leak situation.

Thank you so much Joanne for your kind words. We hope to see you again at 109 Howard.

Laura, thank you for your comments. Reflecting on your stay with us, we recognise this was a difficult week for you and your family as reflected by our discussions by calls and texts. We understand family relations can be stressful and we are honoured to serve our guests in such times of stress. You are quite correct to note that our house is more like a "bare boat" charter in the Carribean than a full service hotel which we are not. We are proud of our stewardship of this grand 1857 historical lady and we wish you the best in finding what better suits you and your 26-member family.

Thank you for staying at our property this summer. We did our best to accomodate your large family in our home. I will take your feedback on landscaping to our gardener who is at the property weekly to tend to our green space. He is a local and works for many other houses in our city so I am certain that he will be interested in knowing his work across the neighborhood was qualified as an anomaly. There was indeed one external glass door which did not lock and we offered to send our handyman to fix it but we respected your objection for him to be at the house during your stay. That door (which is an external facade to a door that locks) has already been fixed. All plumbing around the house is checked annually and we have a plumber on demand for any blocked drainage that results from sand being washed off during showers when residents do not follow the house rule of washing off sand at the outdoor shower before walking into the house. I am delighted to hear your overall week was a fun experience and wish you peace for the rest of your summer.

Thanks David for your comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. A new fridge to replace the second fridge will be installed this week. So the house will have two functional large fridges. Hope to see you next season.
