Family Bonding

Great location. Close to beach and next to Congress Hall and across from Washington Street Mall, so everything was super convenient. Beautiful facility. Owner responding very quickly to any questions we had.

BYO Linens & Towels! Great location, Beautiful Kitchen, Fun for everyone!

This was the ideal set-up for us! We had a huge family reunion in the space and it was enough bedrooms for all of us, including one on the first floor for the folks who had trouble with stairs. It's just important to note that you need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, including hand towels and kitchen towels. The location was great and we were able to walk to all the shops and participate in the town activities. I highly recommend!

Great Weekend Stay in Cape May

The property worked perfectly for our large group of ourselves, our three adult children, and their respective families. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, large kitchen area, and just a block from the beach. The property was clean and well-maintained. When we did have an issue, the owner responded promptly to assist.

Fun week in Cape May!

Location was great. One block to the beach. Congress Hall directly across the street. Mini-mall just a few steps from the house with lots of shops and places to eat. the week went by much too fast! Our family had a great time and would certainly consider returning in the future!

Lovely home

The inside of the house was lovely. The kitchen, dining area, living area, bedrooms, and bathroom were great. Betz were comfortable, except for one room which we didn’t end up using. The only issue was was the outside of the house needs a lot of work. We were not able to sit at all.

Great House

This house had everything you need, it was Modern (especially for Cape May), clean and had a great location. parking can be a little tight if you have a lot of cars but that is far outweighed by the size, location and layout of the house. The house comes with everything you need - beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. as well as a well stocked kitchen. We have stayed at probably 1/2 dozen different houses on Cape May and this one was by far the best. We hope to come back in a few years when we go back!

Great for a mixed group

We had 10 adults and 3 kids (3 - 10 yo). This house had a good portion of adult rooms and two kids rooms that would have worked for an adult single as well. In the heart of the action and 1 block from the beach. Some of the automated sinks and lights were frustrating, but not a show stopper.

Girls weekend in Cape May!

We recently rented the house for celebrate a girls weekend for my mom 60th birthday. Not only was the house PERFECT but the location can’t be beat! Communicating with Dev was so easy and quick to respond. The downstairs was so spacious, all 10 of us were able to hang out and enjoy time together. Right across from Congress Hall/ center of town was perfect, walking distance to everything you need. Would highly recommend and planning to stay again!

stay was nice. house not the kid friendly. stairs were extremely steep which was nerve wrecking with young children. really very little.backyard although the back porch was lovely. amazing location. good communication with host. beautiful kitchen and living room.

Family wedding at Congress Hall

Staying at 220 S Layfayette was very convenient for all the wedding activities and coordinating young children schedules and allowing them some time for rest and play. The house enabled our family to spend time together. The house is very well done location is excellent you can walk to just about everything you might need. I would highly recommend. If someone has difficulty with steps there is a bedroom on the main floor that would only require them to manage the entrance steps. Great family home Thank you. Parking in the rear of house ample

Cape May Weekend

We had 13 adults and 3 small children in Cape May for a wedding weekend and this house was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of rooms for everyone and a great open concept living space on the first floor. The house had a lot of modern high tech features that embarrassingly we had some trouble with. The location was great, walking distance to the beach, shopping, bars and restaurants. The house provided beach chairs but some were broken. Listing states that there is off street parking for 3 cars but we were able to fit 6! Just beware the house is BYO linens! It didn’t state that anywhere in the listing but thankfully I reached out to the host about beach towels a few days before check in and he notified me! 100% would stay here again.

Property has potential to be outstanding!

So many upgrades to this property but sadly by end of July, the house was really taking a beating. Broken windows, ripped screens, cluttered and unorganized kitchen, badly stained carpeting throughout the house and sadly deficient cleaning effort. A lot of $$’s to rent this property. Owner was easily accessible but could do a lot more during the season to keep the property worthy of the money they are asking during high season in Cape May. Very disappointed. On line pictures show a pristine house. Not so for us.

Best in Cape May!

Due to Covid-19 most of our summer plans were cancelled this year...but luckily we found this house in the nick of time and our family beach vacation was saved!! This is hands down the nicest place I have ever stayed in Cape May! There was more than enough rooms, and bathrooms, for all of us...6 adults and 5 kids! The house was clean and in amazing condition. The design elements and the modern decor, really make it feel special and unique. The owners attention to detail was not lost on us, the house has everything you could possibly need! Kitchen is fully stocked and the house has two washer/dryers which made things so much easier. The location is ridiculous! A block from the shops and 2 from the beach...can’t get better than that! Dev was also incredibly friendly and responsive and took care in answering all our questions. Cannot speak more highly about our host or this beautiful home. We are already discussing dates to rent this home again next summer!

Great for Large Families

This was a nice house in a great location. It worked very well for my large family. The bedrooms are divided across three floors, which didn’t bother us but could be challenging for some, especially if they have heavy luggage. The house is right across the street from Congress Hall, walking distance to the beach, and super close to shopping and restaurants. It had everything that we needed, and the owner was quick to respond to messages. The only two things that we didn’t care for- 1. Many of the lights, fans, and sinks have sensors. The lights coming on in the halls at night was bothersome when we were trying to check on sleeping babies or someone was already asleep. It looks like everything is supposed to be connected to Alexa but it didn’t work well for us, which was also frustrating. 2. I didn’t see to bring our own linens in the initial posting. That’s no one’s fault but my own, but I wish that it had been stated more prominently. Overall, we liked the house and would stay again.

Great house for a large family group. The house has some quirks with the automatic faucets and lighting but we figured them out. Host was great to work with and house is extremely well equipped including items needed for a day on the beach. Location is fantastic.

The proximity to the beach and the center of the walking mall was excellent. The house accommodated our large family well. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms made it great. We had two large meals together, 10 adults and 4 children and it was fun. The listing does not say that linens are not provided. Luckily we read a review and discovered we needed to bring our own linens. The coverlets on the beds were flimsy. The disposable supplies; ie paper towels and TP were sparse. No napkins, No dish towels, No K Cups, No regular coffee maker. The furnishings were adequate but worn. The house was clean but could use a deep clean. The 9:00am check out, seemed a little early. Overall it worked for us and we had a great 2.5 day get away.

Great House! Great Location! One block from the Beach!

The house was in a great location, across the street from the stores and restaurants. It's also one block away from the beach! The house was immaculate with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. It's huge! It fit us all very comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked pots and pans and utensils if you plan on cooking some of your own dinners. The beds were comfortable, especially the second floor bedrooms. Just bring some extra pillows. There are extra beach chairs, umbrellas and even a boogie board in the basement. The AC worked great, even on the higher floors. Parking is convenient in the back of the house. We fit six cars. I would definitely rent this house again!
