Windsor House Cape May, Beach Block

25 Windsor Ave. This 8 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath Beach Block Victorian has been lovingly rebuilt from the ground up. Steps from the finest Cape May Beach and 2 blocks from Washington Street Mall, you can walk to the finest shops, restaurants, and entertainment that Cape May has to offer. When you're not at the beach or in town, relax on one of two front porches, the upper one having water views. When you're not outside, gather at the 9' island in the brand new kitchen. This fully stocked kitchen features 2 full size refrigerators, a Wolf cooktop, 30" oven, and a banquette breakfast nook built from the original antique doors. The open Family Room floor plan allows the 52" Hi Def TV and Blu-ray player to be enjoyed from the kitchen. The Front Room Den has a 40" Flat screen and a comfortable Queen Sleeper Sofa. A true 4 season house, there is central heat and AC, and heated tile floors. A huge 7' X 6' outdoor shower is located out back.
Bedroom 1 is up front, second floor with water view, King Bed, coffered ceiling, 42" TV, and 4-piece Bath across the hall with an original claw-foot tub. Bedroom 2 has a Full size bed and large desk. Bedroom 3 is a King Suite with a 3 piece Master Bath including a 6' X 3' custom Marble shower. On the third floor, Bedroom 4 is a King Suite with water views, sitting area, TV, and a 4-piece bath featuring an original claw-foot tub, and a 3' X 5' shower with dual shower heads. Bedrooms 5 & 6 have single trundle beds to sleep 2 in each room. Bedroom 7 has a twin over twin bunk bed. Bedroom 8 has 2 full size beds and a private 3 piece bath.
High speed WiFi is provided.
We have one reserved parking spot on the street.....again...Location, location. 50 yards to the beach, and walk ( or bike) to anywhere in town.

The house was very clean and in a great location! Having 2 refrigerators in the kitchen was extremely useful. It was great being so close to Washington St and the beach. Dave was very easy to communicate with and I would definitely stay here again!

The host was welcoming and the house information was thorough and very much to the point. Our stay was post-season, with fairly chilly and windy weather, but the house felt snug. Everything was nicely clean, and we kept it that way! Our group of 15 had room to spread out and comfortable quarters for all. Great to have such nice bathrooms, and laundry facilities were a help. The kitchen was well appointed with modern appliances that functioned well. We appreciated the two full size refrigerators!

Great host with excellent communication. Excellent location. Vrbo listing needs to emphasize need to bring your own towels and bed linens (just noted in house rules only, which we did not catch). Other than that the house was wonderful with great amenities.

This house was AMAZING! There was so much room in the house. Super close to beach and shopping/restaurants. Owner was excellent with communication and available for our entire trip. The house was well equipped. I would definitely stay there again and recommend 10/10!

House was cozy and comfortable for our stay and our host was accommodating and responsive to any questions that we had. The house has 3 king beds which was perfect as we had 3 couples renting and the location to the beach, Washington Street, and Congress Hall was fantastic. Makes getting around on foot very easy. Check windows! The night we arrived, I checked all ground level windows before going to bed and found two of them unlocked. Also had issues locking front door so locked it from the inside and went out the back. Only other issues were the blankets were stained/soiled. House was clean, otherwise.

What a great stay

We have stayed here multiple times and every time it just gets better. This time we just stayed for a long weekend and the weather did not cooperate, but we still had the time of our lives. Had great communication with the property owner and he gave us suggestions on places to go. We will be back!

This welcoming Cape May beach house is everything VRBO says it is! Its well appointed, clean, charming, centrally located and roomy enough for everyone! We shopped, we sunned on the beach, we took in the local history, we walked all about and loved every minute of our 4 night stay. If youre looking for that "home away from home"... this is it! Now that we know 4 nights are not enough, we plan to come back. Do not hesitate to book here. David was helpful and accessible, and the house rules are reasonable. My advice to you? Hit the "book" button and start packing. Don't forget your sunscreen (but if you do, there's some of that there too!)

Family Reunion to celebrate 90th birthday

My cousins, brother and spouses all got together to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. The house was the perfect size for us and had just enough gathering spaces indoor and out. Everything was exactly as advertised. Host was very responsive and location was fabulous

Cape May Family Reunion

Love this house! First time in Cape May for all of us and we had a blast. The location was perfect- steps away from the beach, Congress Hall, and Washington St mall. The house accommodated 16 of us from ages 1 to 82. We spent a lovely and unforgettable Thanksgiving here. Dave was super helpful and responsive - really helped make this the successful trip that it was. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation, location & house

This house was amazing, especially for a large group of people. House was clean, bedrooms were large and an awesome open kitchen / living room floor plan. Easily hosted our family and extended family. Communication with the host was great, responsive & informative. You are right next to the beach and easily walk into town. Front porch was great for morning coffee and nighttime chats. Would highly suggest!!
