This recently updated lakefront studio is the perfect vacation rental property for a cozy and romantic getaway! Located on the stunning Peninsula side of Lake Almanor, you'll wake up to breathtaking views of the tranquil waters. With a private boat launch and dock, you can easily park your boat and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. The studio comfortably sleeps two, with a queen bed and a small sofa that's suitable for a child. You'll find everything you need for your stay, from linens and towels to appliances and other amenities. Just remember to bring your beach towels and toys for some fun in the sun! While there's WiFi available, please note that it can be unreliable at times. However, if you need to stay connected, the coffee shop across the street offers free WiFi to guests.

Our stay was good. The only issue was that there was a giant crane outside the front door blocking the view of the lake. However, that was only for the first day and a half.

Lakefront Studio Cabin

Very nice studio cabin. Very clean, nice layout, and beautiful view of the lake. Only minus was bad WiFi, but that was listed on the owners notes.

The property was great. Super clean, simple but super functional unit, and low chaos as it was on the quiet outside corner of Big Cove. The launch ramp and dock were so user friendly. Only ask: It would be great it the sofa pulled out into a twin bed. I give it a solid A- and look forward to getting a larger group of fishermen and a few cabins for the next trip. Tranquility

It is an adorable little basement studio. The owner Shellie is amazing and very responsive. The view is outstanding from both windows and the doors. I will definitely stay again as I have work in that area quite often.

Beautiful get away

My husband and I stayed at the cabin to attend a wedding. The cabin was perfect for just the two of us and had everything we needed. We enjoyed looking at the lake while enjoying our morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Quick getaway

My wife and I needed a quick getaway from all the hate directed towards conservatives in our country. The cabin was just what we needed! Rustic, quiet and comfortable. There is nice amenities within walking distance and being on the water was nice!

Quiet and relaxing, beautiful view

This cabin is well equipped, great use of space. Market across the street has a great deli! Communication with property managers was excellent. I hope to go back.

The location is ideal - winter or summer. However, the cabin was ice cold when we checked in. The gas fireplace was insufficient to adequately warm the living space; that is, we had the thermostat cranked to 85, but the interior temp never rose above 65. We had to borrow blankets and space heater from our daughter who had a full house on the Peninsula.We also discovered one window open about 1/2”, which obviously created inefficiency. There was a live spider and web in the Keurig water reservoir for the coffee maker. When we stripped the bedsheets before checking out, we discovered a filthy mattress pad.Last, but not least, the day we drove in, we were met by a gentleman walking down the hill from the market. He didn’t identify himself, but he DID tell us what the “unlock code” was - which created a safety issue for us - for what was to stop anyone from entering the cabin in our absence? I learned later that it was the onsite manager, but the dude could have introduced himself.The value for the amount paid was not what we expected.

Worth the price if you have a watercraft

We liked the cabin but the location would bring us back when we are able to bring our boat or jetski. Recommend upgrading the linens for price paid.

Lake Almanor Little Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well stocked & very clean. We would definitely rent it again very peaceful there. The only thing I wish it had were window screens & screen doors so that you could open the windows & doors without any mosquitos coming in while you were dining outside & enjoying the view of the lake. 5 stars all the way to host Shelly Plaut!
