Welcome to our stunning riverfront retreat! This spacious 2600 sq. ft. home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, offering plenty of room for relaxation and enjoyment. Step inside to discover a large updated kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals, while the family room and living room provide ample space for gathering with loved ones.
Take in the breathtaking river vistas from the comfort of the cozy fireplaces or the brand new, expansive 800 sq. ft. wrap-around Redwood deck, where you can soak up the tranquility of the Hamilton Branch. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this home invites you to unwind with a good book or simply marvel at the sight of cranes gliding through the river.
Calling all fishing enthusiasts! This is your paradise, with direct access to the Hamilton Branch. Cast your line right off the back deck or relax on the swing, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the river and occasional train passing by.
Recently remodeled flooring adds warmth to the ambiance, while the dining table and kitchen counter seating accommodate your entire group. Entertainment options abound with a pool table, table tennis, and karaoke machine alongside a 70-inch smart TV for streaming your favorite shows.
Stay connected with high-speed internet (Starlink) throughout the property, strategically facilitated by Google Mesh WiFi. For music lovers, an electric piano awaits your performance and enjoyment.
New this year, we've added a kayak shed accessible by pin code, housing 4 kayaks, beach chairs, corn hole game and other outdoor essentials for your adventures.
Sleep comfortably in the two main floor bedrooms (featuring a king and queen bed respectively) and two additional bedrooms on the second level. One of the upstairs bedrooms offers a king bed, double futon, and daybed with trundle, while the other features a queen bed.
We welcome your furry friends with a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per stay per pet, with a maximum weight limit of 40 lbs. (No Bully Breeds, please).

We loved this house - very clean, with all the amenities that’s perfect for a family vacation. Its location sits close to the water with beautiful views of the branch. Kids loved the pool/l table/ping pong table, big kitchen for meals, beautiful deck with a fire pit to enjoy sitting outside. Walking distance to the lake - water toys including kyaks and beach chairs for the lake were provided. We’ll definitely want to rent this house again next summer.

Better than advertised

Many homes don't quite meet expectations as advertised on VRBO. This home was not one of them. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, the Home was so much better than our expectations. The deck over the river is so serene and there is plenty of space to lounge including a nice fire pit to sit around. Despite neighbors on both sides of the house, the house is very private. Inside the house was roomy and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities including the pool table, corn hole, chess board and big screen TV to watch football and BBQ. The kitchen and large bedrooms were great too. We highly recommend the house. Thank you Debbie for the multiple emails inquiring to confirm everything was as it should be.

We couldn’t of asked for a better experience!

This home was PERFECT for a family vacation with 7 adults. The house is beautifully maintained, has spacious rooms and a truly beautiful deck and view, and is well-stocked with virtually every creature comfort one could want on vacation. My family had fun creating a dinner experience every night and we found all we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. Dinner out on the deck was sensational, with the "music" of the rushing river below to serenade us. The house was spacious and made it easy to tuck away for individual quiet moments now and then. We really enjoyed the home's amenities, like kayaking and ping pong. Debbie and Dave were particularly gracious hosts, accommodating some special needs we requested. They were also fabulous communicators, enthusiastically sharing information on the area's best spots. Check in and check out were as easy as it gets. No fuss, no hassle. My family and I have been so looking forward to this vacation together. (We live hundreds of miles from one another, so time together is fleeting.) This home was the perfect place for us. Thanks again, Debbie and Dave. It was awesome.

Amazing home and view!!!!

Our family stayed at the house for four nights. The house is beautiful but the back deck and the view of the river is amazing. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck and fishing in the river. The guys loved the pool table. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, we would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful home with amazing views and a short drive to Lake Almanor.

Family time

Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were perfect. All the information was so clear. The house was SUPER clean. They thought of everything from karaoke to pool or ping pong. Plenty of board games too. The beds are excellent and so comfortable. The deck had plenty of seating and dining for our family. They haven’t missed a thing. All you need in the kitchen is there. The hosts also were accommodating of our dogs. We will be back! We loved our stay. Miss it already. Cannot thank them enough. Liz Powers

Awesome House - with Great Deck Scene!

Fantastic property. Large home that can accommodate many guests with a fantastic deck above the river - great for hanging out and catching up. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, very responsive. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. I/we will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house and location

I stayed here with several co-workers and the house was perfect! Lots of space and very clean. Getting into the house was easy and the host was responsive. The location is beautiful next to a river while also being close to the lake and town.

Amazing Getaway

This home has everything you would want or need in a home for a vacation rental. The home is in great shape and you can tell the owners take pride in their home from how clean everything is and all the amenities they provide. My husband and I and our 3 grown sons took full advantage of the pool table/ping pong, karaoke, played poker and sat on the deck looking at the gorgeous view and listening to the river. The hosts are amazing and we were lucky enough to get to meet them and chat a bit. They are by far the best hosts we have ever had. Debbie even reached out during our stay (this has never happened before) to see if everything was ok and if there was anything we needed. It was such a wonderful 60th bday celebration for my husband and our family. We had lots of laughs and made many awesome memories. We did lots of fly fishing, played disc golf and enjoyed the outdoors which is why we picked Lake Almanor. You will definitely not regret staying at this lovely home. Can't wait to go back some day. Thanks Debbie & David!

First I'd like to say Debbie and Dave are excellent hosts and communicate regularly. The house is spacious, clean and the location is excellent. Loved it

Huge clean house, everything you could need for a stay. Lots of games and fun entertainment. Location is awesome. The river is amazing with a fun hike down to it. The hosts are spectacular. We got stuck off roading and needed an emergency pick up- they did not need to do this for us but they did - we are so grateful. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful! Quiet Cabin in the woods by a river

We had a quiet stay in the cabin by the river. The river canceled out any other noises (which were minimal) and we found the place very calming and quiet. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and the living room is large with a great view. The host was very accommodating and made the whole process exceedingly easy on us. The cabin is not overly staged and feels very home-y. Highly recommend for a quiet spot. My only suggestion is that if you bring small children, you will need to keep an eye on them as there is a steep hill leading to the water.

Beautiful and relaxing setting

The house was very clean and well organized. We were in Lake Almanor for my niece's wedding that was less than 3 miles away. We had 8 people actually staying in the house that included a 10-month-old to my 87-year-old mother. We had plenty of room to spread out. My favorite was the porch swing on the deck that overlooked the river. The house was also large enough to have a BBQ and S'mores and game night with extended family. The sounds of the river were very relaxing.

Wonderful winter getaway

This is a fantastic house! It's comfortable, homey and had a lot of space for our family to spread out. The ping pong table and pool table were a big hit for the crew. Debbie was a great host and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this home and hope to come back!

Great Fishing Cabin

Pros: Great location for fishing enthusiasts. Great communication from owner. Fun house w lots of entertainment features like a pool table, ping pong table (not sure where to play it), board games, karaoke, electric piano. Cons: Very strict house rules. Multiple copies posted around the house. Owner asks for renters to take garbage out when checking out, as well as clean dishes (what does the $200 cleaning fee include?) The thermostat is password protected, and is not provided to the renter, so no way to adjust it.

My husband David & I love Lake Almanor for what it has to offer for the outdoor enthusiasts like ourselves. We love being outdoors as well as entertaining. We love boating, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, waterskiing/ wake boarding in the summer as well as downhill skiing & snow shoeing in the winter.

Nestled perfectly on the Hamilton Branch inlet to Lake Almanor, this home boasts an ideal location. The allure of the branch captivated me from the moment I laid eyes on this property. The mesmerizing view and soothing sound of the creek sold me on the spot; I barely needed to explore the rest of the house.

Situated at the North end of the East Shore, near the Country Club golf course and Bailey Creek golf course on the peninsula, this home offers tranquility and convenience. Listen to the gentle cascade of the creek from the deck, with the occasional passing train adding to the charm.

Step inside to find a recently remodeled interior, complete with warm flooring that enhances the ambiance. From the living room, step out onto the spacious deck and savor your morning coffee surrounded by towering pine trees. This place truly feels like your home away from home.

Nestled in a serene setting, the tranquility and peacefulness of this property are truly remarkable. Just a few steps from the house, guests have the opportunity to catch dinner, with some sharing exhilarating tales of casting and catching fish in record time. This exclusive trail is accessible only to our guests.

Out on the deck, a fire pit table provides a cozy spot for guests to enjoy the outdoors and unwind. Additionally, a comfortable swing, which easily converts into a daybed, allows guests to soak in the sights and sounds of the creek, accompanied by the occasional passing train.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with modern amenities, including a 4-burner electric stove, convection oven, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, wet bar, and a variety of small appliances such as a waffle maker, coffee pot, toaster, variety of spices for your cooking needs and built-in blender/food processor. Guests will find an array of cookware, dishes, baking tools, wine glasses, and more for their culinary needs.

For those who prefer a good night's sleep, three of the bedrooms feature room-darkening curtains, ensuring a restful slumber.

In the game room, a fireplace insert keeps the whole house warm and cozy, with detailed operating instructions conveniently posted by the mantle. Wood and kindling are readily available just outside the front door, along with a metal receptacle for hot coals. Guests can adjust the propane heat using the Google thermostat to their desired temperature.

To ensure our guests' safety and comfort, we've recently installed a new ON DEMAND backup generator for added peace of mind during their stay.
