Perfect for a relaxing break from the rat race, this condo, located in the heart of the Bavarian-themed town of Helen, features a full kitchen, fireplace, and a furnished patio overlooking the Chattahoochee.

For a small nightly fee, one family dog can come along and walk with you to almost everything in town, including restaurants, gift shops, and exciting events including the annual Oktoberfest. Slip into your hiking boots and hit the trails of Unicoi State Park, just three miles north, or indulge in some summertime tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

Not only does this home boast an incredible riverside location, up to six guests will enjoy a variety of amenities including a wood-burning fireplace for those chilly winter nights, free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen, and an outdoor dining area with views of the river.

If you're traveling with a larger group, there are also two other adjacent condos available (502 and 702) that can be rented to accommodate parties of up to 16.

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect it was off the river and in the heart of Helen. Back patio you can watch the river and out the front door you can walk to all the restaurants and stores.

The condo was clean and we didn't have any pets. We stayed during colder climate and the heater worked fine except it didn't seem to warm the main living area whereas the bedrooms got hot. The worst part was check-in. The door lock code we were provided did not work. We drove 8 hours from Florida which put our arrival at 8:00 p.m.and trying to reach someone/human was impossible. The contact phone number we were given was to some other property manager who obviously couldn't help us. When we contacted someone at VRBO there was a terrible language barrier due to the person speaking very broken English and he also put us on hold for better than 12 minutes. After several texts back and forth with the AI program we were finally given a door lock code that worked. Overall it took us almost an hour to finally get into the unit.

This unit is Location Location. You can park and walk. It is a little dated but had all the necessities you need for a stay with the exception of washer/dryer. The Park and Cool River tubing are right up the road. And it is pet friendly.

Location. The 2 BR was a little dated but being in Helen knowing its an older town, our expectations were definitely exceeded. We even left something behind and Vacasa was super attentive and shipped our item out promptly. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. The unit was in a high foot traffic area close to stairs and entrance causing too much noise at night. Overall good value for cost.

Great place

The only thing I would suggest would be to get a tall barstool table for outside and tall chairs, so you can enjoy the view. We cannot enjoy the view because of the balcony.

Great location

Overall it was a great spot right in the middle of town. The condo is dated and could use some updating but clean. Seating in the living area needs more relaxing seats maybe 2 love seats or even a small sectional like from IKEA since it's a smaller area.

Perfect location

Wonderful place to stay. Walking distance to everything. Tubing within walking distance and mountain roller coaster across the road and town not far from walking distance. Plenty of places to eat. Place was super clean. Nice to have three full baths. We took a small dog which was nice. Accommodations were great for a long weekend. Only negative we found was there was no washer and dryer but could be because they're replacing them. Not sure. I would recommend this place to my family and friends

Great location

The condo is in a great location! It was so easy to walk to all of the nearby attractions. It was very clean at check-in. It was very cold during our stay and the heat seemed to struggle a bit. However, the fire place was great for both ambience and warmth. It might be helpful to have runners or rugs for the colder months. The property manager and local team were fantastic in their response when the cold temps caused issues with pipes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
