We enjoyed staying at the Carriage House with our dog. It was clean and cozy.It was close to Hocking Hills so we could hike and explore during the day and come ‘home ‘ to a comfortable place in the evening.

We loved the property and the house. Not a bad drive to the things we wanted to do. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so nice, we'll definitely be back. The property was huge with lots of nice walking trails. It was a perfect anniversary weekend. Thank you to our hosts

Such a great place to relax with my almost 12 year old dog. Took him hiking at Hocking Hills State Park and spent a couple evenings just relaxing. Loved the hot tub, grounds, and cozy atmosphere. Super easy check in. Great experience!!!!

Truly a one of a kind, beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. Everything was clean and cozy. The whole process was so simple and the hosts were very helpful. I would rate higher if I could, but five stars will have to do.

The cabin was super cute. It was the perfect place to get away from the world for a couple of days. The hosts were very prompt when communicating or answering questions. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was a good deal for the time we needed it. The private porch and hot tub were great, we got to watch a couple dear grazing and running while sitting in the hot tub. Only complaint is the musty/wet smell.

The Carriage House was perfect for our honeymoon! We enjoyed how secluded and quiet it was out there. Seemed to be in a nice area right between Athens and Logan. The hot tub was amazing. The listing was completely accurate and I made sure to check customer reviews & photos so we knew what to expect when we got there. The grounds were super nice and we enjoyed walking around the paths on the property. There was a nice selection of movies but only 1 board game so we left TROUBLE for others to play! Would highly recommend for your getaway & would love to stay again! P.S. there is a book there that guests write in about their stay that some people overlooked.

Absolutely adorable little retreat. Amazing views, so good we didnt need the leave the property to explore the hills, but its only 20 minutes from Ash Cave and other popular sights within the park. The carriage house was cozy and well equipt (even has stacks of firewood for sale on sight for convenience), it was clean and smelled amazing. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. My husband and I cannot wait to come back.

Very welcoming and cozy but our biggest complaint was the size and cleanliness of the shower. We also didn’t like the back door to the back porch only having one small lock that can easily be broken but other than that, it was kept up well and essentials were provided as well as a list of attractions and restaurants!

This is a great place to get away, nothing fancy. Cell and Internet was not available, which is a plus imho.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and we loved the cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy and inviting. We were happy with it being pet friendly and our fur baby enjoyed his stay too. Shannon and Nick (hosts) were very responsive to our questions. The hot tub was very relaxing , and the cabin views were beautiful. Thank you for a very pleasant time!

The best part of this property is the deck and hot tub out back. The room is very small with very old carpet and furniture, they have area rugs that you constantly trip over because they bunch up. There is a moldy musty smell throughout. If it wasn’t for the back deck and hot tub we would have left a day or two early. There is no hot water in the bathroom sink and it is very slow draining. The grill is very very rusty and old and the firepit is falling apart. We did not contact owners with any of our concerns as most are things that they obviously know about and we were there for our anniversary and just wanted to make the best of it.

I'm not sure what more we could add to the listing to convey the amount of space at Carriage House. We do also list the square footage. If you can find a rental, or even a hotel room, with a private hot tub and yard for less, please let us know. We also cleaned the day prior, and were not made aware of any issues of ants (and other bugs) during this guest's stay. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or issues during your time here! Thanks again for staying, and for the review. We truly hope you find something that better suits you on your next visit to Hocking Hills!

Great and simple hocking hills location for couples.

A simple and not too expensive location for couples. Great if you're planning on being out and about most of your trip and just need somewhere to stay!
