The Prairie Rose Cabin is a luxurious lodge nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills on 57 acres of private acreage while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 1 comfortable bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a comfortable living space, and a beautiful kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

The cabin was lovely. When we arrived after dark the day before Christmas, the fire was burning and the Christmas tree was lit. It was very sweet. Nice quiet location accessible to Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. Perfect space for two people. Nice amenities (kitchen nicely stocked, hot tub, pet friendly). I'd definitely stay there again (and bring my 4-wheel drive rather than my mini-van!).

Great cabin for a short stay for 2 people. Very private. I didnt think the hill/driveway was as crazy as some of the other reviewers made it seem. Firepit could use a little work to keep it from beinf a mud pit/water hole when it rains. I will likely be back yearly.

WiFi is spotty, but works for a getaway where you mostly want to unplug. Plenty of peace and quiet and close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. A short/quick drive to all Hocking Hills sights.

The cabin & the grounds were nice, but there are problems with the cabin the entry door is hard to unlock & open, the lock on the sliding don't work & hard to close, the chair, couch, & bed are uncomfortable & wore out & it is very annoying that the tv shuts off every 30 min unless you use the controller. These should be addressed before you rent this cabin again

Our Getaway

Very nice little cabin, close to what we wanted to do and see, loved the deck and spent a lot of time out there listening to nature. Very nice and relaxing stay, we look forward to going again.

Great Getaway

Cabin was clean, cool, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed. Would definitely recommend to other travelers. The only downside was the sliding door on the rear was hard to open and close, but we were still able to enjoy the deck.

The cabin served our purpose well for exploring and hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park area, which is beautiful. We enjoyed a couple of campfires and enjoyed the privacy of the cabin's location.

The cabin was cute. The pond located in the listing is on the front of the driveway. However, the driveway is extremely steep and difficult to navigate in the sedan that I drove there.
