This 2000 sq ft townhouse rental is in the gated community of South Down Shores in Laconia. It offers waterfront views of Paugus Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are 3 levels of living space, a sun room, an outdoor patio with table, umbrella and grill, wireless internet, and much more are all provided for your perfect vacation. Plenty of bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, A/C, cable, WiFi, beach chairs & floats, books, and board games are just a few added perks here. We also provide top and fitted bed sheets and bath towels. You will need to bring blankets and beach towels. This home is just steps away from the yacht club, bocce, and corn hole, and a short walk to the sandy beach. South Down Shores also offers a playground, tennis, volley ball, pickle ball and basketball courts. Children and adults enjoy the miles of paved sidewalks, walking trails, snow mobile trails, ponds and streams that run throughout this protected and gated community. South Down Shore is convenient to Meredith, Laconia, Gun Stock Mountain, Bank of NH Concert Pavilion, and Weirs Beach. The location is perfect for adventures in all seasons!
Tenants must read rules and regulations of South Down Shores community ("Welcome Tenants & Visitors") and submit a car registration form ("Short Term Tenant SDRA Access Gate") . Please see the South Down Shores website for these forms.
*NO MOTORCYCLES, TRAILERS, OR SNOWMOBILES ALLOWED per condo association rules.

Family fun

We had a great family vacation at south down shores. We swam and paddleboarded, made sand castles and caught frogs. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. We hope to stay again next year.

Truly one of the nicest places on the lake. The owners were always ready to answer your questions and help out if need be. Perfect place for families looking to make lasting memories. A great place for families of all ages.....

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed. Also, Angela was a great host. Every question we had she was very attentive to. Just a short walk to the beach. Hope to stay some other time.

Great property in South Down Shores! Family and kids had wonderful time despite bad weather! Hosts Angela and Bob were very accommodating and helpful. Loved how clean the place was! 5 stars all around!

Wonderful Get-Away

The condo was in a beautiful setting with a great lake view. It was very clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and fully equipped with all the essentials. I contacted the owner multiple times and she was very informative and always quick to respond. The location was perfect for our winter activities at Gunstock Mountain. It was an easy 15-20 minute drive to skiing and tubing. My family and I had a great mini-vacation. Highly recommend this condo for a wonderful get-away.

Return trip

We had such an amazing trip last year so decided to return this year and was not disappointed. With predicted storms daily we only ended up having one day of rain. We were able to do one 4000 footer and a second smaller hike with all the kids. The property had a lot of upgrades since last year which was a welcome surprise. Already getting excited about returning next year. Thanks Angela and Bob for opening your home to our family.

Immaculate home - perfect getaway!

Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids had an excellent new years staying at Bob and Angela's house. It's well stocked and perfectly maintained. Thanks for opening it up to us, Bob and Angela.

Great vacation with family!

My wife and I stayed here with our two young children and it could not have been better. We were able to check in slightly earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Angela was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was in great shape and much bigger than the photos show! Just a few minutes walk to the beach and playground! Will definitely be renting here again!

Perfect Location

You can’t get a better location than this property. Relax and enjoy sitting on the porch, and enjoy all of the amenities South Down Shores has to offer. The condo is great for friends and family, is nicely updated, and super clean. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend

Great location - perfect for a week at the lake!

This was our first stay at South Down Shores and its a beautiful gated community. We’ve been coming to lake Winnipesaukee for years but our family outgrew our previous rental and this property worked perfectly for us! The beach is a short walk or you can drive if you have a lot of stuff to carry. Angela and Bob’s condo has everything you need from linens and towels to beach chairs and beach games. Also, plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. Very clean and spacious. In the mornings we spent much of our time in the sunroom with our coffee as the sun rises on that side of the house with a beautiful view of the fountain/pond - Very relaxing. The community is beautiful for taking walks and enjoyIng the beach. Unfortunately, due to the COVID epidemic, some of the added recreation facilities were closed, however, we had plenty to keep us busy! We are definitely considering returning next year. :-)

Family vacation at the lake

Very nice condo unit, well kept up, great community. Grandchildren loved the beach area. One drawback, there wasn't a day dock for our boat to pick up people. Everyone had to o into cars and come over to our marina.

Perfect Stay!

We had a great stay at Bob & Angela's condo. It was clean and cozy, with plenty of sleeping space & a great area to relax in. Angela was very responsive and ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend their condo to anyone else!

AMAZING!

This place is AMAZING! I told Angela that the pictures do not do it justice. The sectional was HUGE and so comfortable. The sunroom with futon was a great added space for two teenagers to sleep. The beds are comfortable, the location was great and the house was picture perfect!!! I cannot say enough about this house. We rent frequently from various rental sites and this was hands down the best house ever!

Prestine Side Condo

Just got back from my stay at Bob and Angela's condo in Paugus Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee. It's a beautiful property, in a gated community, with great views of the water. The condo is very spacious and slept us 9 grown men, very comfortably. The house was in pristine condition and contained all the amenities you need. Prior to my stay, Bob and Angela were very quick to respond to all my questions. We are all looking forward to staying here again.

New Year Family Celebration 2019!!

This home was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Plenty of room for privacy as well as for gathering together. It was comfortable and nicely furnished. I could see how it would be great for summer because of the location across form the water. My only suggestion to the very nice owners who were very nice to contact us with information is to have more cooking supplies in the kitchen. Our family loves to cook together for meals in. There was enough dishes glasses and silverware but because it is winter I could have used a few more pots and a larger cutting board. I could see that in the summer grilling is the way to go. All in all that was the ONLY suggestion that I have for this beautiful lakeside home!! We had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year with our daughters and sons-in-law and would definitely rent this condo again!!
