Sevierville Douglas Lake Front Cabin Rental, Unit 780 “Smoke on the Water” has all the outdoor and indoor entertainment that your family could want. Sitting on the shores of Douglas Lake with private lake access and dock, this cabin is in the perfect location for the family looking to get away for a wet and wild adventure. Bring your boat, or rent one nearby, because this cabin offers nearby ramp access, and a private dock to park it on the lake overnight. The covered wrap around porch features a hot tub, rocking chairs, swing, and a gas grill that all overlook beautiful Douglas Lake, which has some of the best views the Smokies have to offer! Your family can spend the days enjoying all the adventures that Douglas Lake has to offer, and your nights relaxing in all the modern comforts of home. Walking into the cabin you are greeted with hardwood throughout, a fully furnished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a kitchen island with sink, and all the modern comforts one comes to expect in a vacation property. This cabin comes with a seasonal wood burning fireplace, 55-inch flat screen TV, two full baths, and two master suites that each have a king size bed. The upstairs of the cabin has been set up to be an upper-level kids retreat with a custom set of queen size bunk beds, sleeper sofa, sitting area, pool table, multi-cade stand up arcade machine, and a flat screen 50-inch TV with DVD player. The kids can slip away into their own personal level in the third-floor loft area with TV and bed mats. This cabin is great for a quick family getaway, or for the family looking to spend some time on the water. Seasonal Pool access nearby in the resort, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day 10am-8pm. Douglas Lake hosts some of the best views in the Smokies period! Douglas Lake does have seasonal water from April to September. This place checked all the boxes for our holiday cabin stay! The views from the back porch were awesome an I’m sure would be even better in the greener seasons. The only thing I could add as a slight negative was that there could’ve been more toiletries (body soap/shampoo, etc.) and the smell upon arrival was not pleasant, but after a few scented candles it was not an issue for the remainder of the trip. Close to all tourist attractions and spacious for our family of 9! Would definitely recommend and were considering a return to this cabin!

Our stay at the cabin was cozy. Enjoyed our view every morning with our coffee. Enjoyed the pool table and there was carpet upstairs for our baby to have floor time. The cabin was very clean and inviting and we would definitely stay here again!!!! Overall a nice experience!!!

We had a great time. There were a few minor issues. We were given the wrong alarm code .so of course we set the alarm off. Also we wad talked to someone about bringing our boat .just so happens we decided not to bring it at the last minute. And its a good thing that we didn't. The water was non-existent.at the cabin ..i feel like when a trip is booked some one should say the condition of the lake..that was very disappointing.

Great location and having the view of the water is great. Knowing the water level starts going down after summer. I should have asked if the dock was still usable ( floating in the water) before I booked. Still Great location!

Great location, views were amazing, the only down fall would be the pictures make it look like the dock & Douglass Lake were easy to get to. They are a little difficult for people who have knee issues. We would definitely visit again

Wonderful Trip! Memories for a lifetime!

Before even stepping foot inside the property, the views from the deck make it all worth it! Once arriving inside, we were met with a beautiful, clean, and well-kept interior. The kids absolutely loved the loft and ladder to the additional 3rd story nook. There were some previous reviews about the cabin not having much but bare minimum, but we had everything we could possibly need. Ubereats even delivers to this area, so that was a huge perk we aren't used to, as cabins are typically too far out.I saw some complaints about the stairs and dock area not being maintained and/or too difficult for small children. My 5 year old ran up and down them all day long, and even with high hopes it would wear him out and he'd take a nap... no such luck. This trip was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely choose this location again! Thank you for providing memories that will last a lifetime!

Spring Break

The cabin was clean and spacious. We had 6 adults in our party and never felt over crowded. The staff was friendly and quick to respond. The water level was low, therefore we could not enjoy the amenities of the dock or lake. But the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. We would stay again.

Cabin by the lake

The cabin was nice. There were a few things we had issues with. The direct tv didnt work on the main level but we decided not to call about it. The heat also was not working properly. We did call about that but didnt get a call back for the resolution. Overall it was a nice cabin. Be prepared they only supply basics.

Quick getaway

The cabin was very private. My husband and I came for a relaxing couple of days and this cabin did not disappoint. Although we did not cook our meals we could have because the cabin had everything to do that. The cabin is far enough away from the crowds but close enough to be in pigeon gorge or gatlinburg quick. We would stay here a gain.

Great lakeside cabin

I highly recommend this cabin to a family with kids that enjoys nature. The kid loft area is amazing. The cabin is nice. We would consider returning to this one. ❤️

Great Family Vacation!

The cabin was a great place to stay. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and my husband enjoyed fishing in the lake and I loved the view! The ladies working at Fireside Chalets were absolutely amazing and so nice.

Lakefront Disappointment, Clean?

Our overall stay didn't meet our expectations, with a notable disappointment being the lake level, which had receded beyond the dock. Surprisingly, the listing didn't mention the seasonal fluctuations in lake levels despite advertising "private dock access" or "lake access." Moreover, the cleanliness of the cabin left much to be desired. Cobwebs were widespread in corners and around lighting fixtures, and it appeared that areas under the beds had been overlooked for some time. The loft was particularly unsatisfactory, containing dirty cotton swabs and trash left behind by previous occupants. Even minor details became frustrating; some TV remotes lacked batteries. Despite the onsite washer/dryer being a helpful amenity that allowed us to address some cleanliness issues ourselves, I cannot recommend staying here based on our overall experience.

A rainy Easter weekend

It was a great place to hangout and play! The rain kept us from going to Dollywood but we didn’t mind. There was plenty to do inside, great scenery, and much needed down time!
