Great location

We love the location at the foot of the Catalina’s and right at the head of the Ventana Canyon Trail. There is also a pleasant sense of community in the development.

Comfortable Place with Pops of Red!

My wife and I loved the layout, location, and amenities ! The pools were clean and clear, hot tubs were hot when the air got cool. The screened in porch was great for morning coffee and evening wine! So many bird species and cool wildlife in the area. The covered car port was a bonus, too. We had a relaxing vacation!

Beautiful Mountain View

This property is 100% as advertised, the pictures on the website are completely respective of the property. Lots of at home feel, a very well equipped kitchen complimented the rest of the rooms. Easy access to the nature trail and quick access to the city for dining out if desired. A very relaxing place, has our recommendation.

Catalina Foothills Cono

This was our first experience with VRBO, and it worked just fine for us. The location was great. The property was just fine for the two of us, although it would have been tight for more than two. It was nicely decorated with all the necessities that we needed, and then some.

Ventana Caynon Condo

Very cozy condo with great Mountain View’s. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. This was a very comfortable condo and we hated to leave on our last day there. Close to the Lowe’s Ventana resort, and restaurants, and shopping. We hiked the canyon behind the condo community several times and really enjoyed the hiking experience without having to drive anywhere. There is so much to do close to this location.

Great spot in a good location

We had some issues with the property that seemed like no one had stayed there in a while. The property manager was attentive and quick to respond. We opted to not have anyone fix anything as we were only there for a couple of days.

The view is incredible!

The view made up for the coffee filter not being cleaned and having three different colors of mold in it, the weather stripping on the front door needing to be replaced as crickets and small orange scorpion came into the condo, dust and dead bugs along the baseboards, and lack of supplies like garbage bags. The neighborhood was great; quiet and friendly.

Hello Karen, We are sorry to hear about your experience! We are definitely going to consult our cleaners on the importance of checking the coffee filters and window sills after each guest! With our extensive rainy season this year in Tucson, more critters are out here in the desert and pest control is managed at the community complex by the HOA on a regular basis. We were happy to send out pest control again for the home, the moment it was mentioned to us during your stay. The weather stripping is being repaired before the next guest's arrival and had it been noted to us during your stay we would have gladly sent out a handyman to fix it! Pest control was completed again yesterday on the entire vacant unit to ensure it is satisfactory moving forward. Our rains are almost over for the year! We are happy to hear your enjoyed the neighborhood, and the quiet atmosphere at View at Ventana. Thank you for staying with us and again, we apologize for your experience. cozy and colorful condo with great view of mountains

The condo was very cute with a colorful Arizona/southwestern theme throughout. The view of the Mountains was wonderful from both inside the home and the patio. It is close to nearby stores and restaurants, yet you definitely feel part of the Catalina Hills while there. A Ventana Canyon hiking trail run right behind the condo. My only suggestion would be to have coffee filters available for the Mr. Coffee and Kleenex in the bathrooms. We bought some while there and left them for other people.

Great rental, great location, great view (not parking lot!). Furnishings were good, although main bed was very soft. Bathroom fixtures could be more comfort height. Counters seemed low & one commode was so low it was virtually unusable for a tall person. Cleaning/prep crew could do a better job before we arrived (missing paper towels, dirty dishes/cooking utensils, rancid cooking oil), but the management company was great & responsive. Condo amenities (hot tub, fitness center) were great. A "welcome to the rental" binder with important information (i.e. how to use the remotes! would help). We would stay here again & I think the rental was a good value for the money.

Nice Condo in a great area of Tucson

Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend it to others. Kitchen is well equipped and check-in was easy. The only thing potential renters need to know is that this is a downstairs unit and you can definitely hear the noise of people walking around upstairs.We only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there was dust in the corners and under beds...the cleaners definitely took a few shortcuts. But overall the place was clean where it mattered. No odors, bedding, furniture, kitchen, bathrooms, etc, were all clean.

Beds

Beds very uncomfortable, plastic mattress covers, pillows hard, room has mini blinds letting in lots of light from the well lit complex. Upstairs was crazy noisy with the three kids running around at 6am. We are going home exhausted.

Truth in Advertising

We stayed 3 weeks in this condo. It's exactly as described. Great views, very well-stocked kitchen, and a plus to have cable tv included. We had to buy a few supplies, but that would be expected for a longer term stay. Our only suggestion is that an upgrade of beds is needed. It's insulting to confront a plastic cover on a master bed - pillows were thick, uncomfortable foam. Beds, comforters, pillows and bedding should be upgraded for a rental in this price range.

Good location and lovely decor

This unit is really nice, well stocked and one of the best locations in the complex as it faces the trailhead to Ventana Canyon. Unit was very clean but imo beds could use an update. Both are quite soft and (ahem) squeaky. The fitted sheet on my bed had been washed but had a stain just where I was laying so I changed the bedding. Unit is ground floor so there was quite a bit of noise from family of four that were there for the start of our stay. The View is the best feature of the unit, as is the small porch. The hot tub and pool are very nice and quiet.
