Arden’s place was wonderful ! Aeden was a great host and we enjoyed the location. Driving was quite challenging with roads so narrow but we were told ahead of time. Highly recommend !!!

Nice large home to spread out and cook a meal. 2 bedrooms with bathrooms attached were very nice. It is close to some of the sites within minutes. Very quiet at night after tours wind down.

We loved our stay at this house on Slea Head. It had lots of sleeping spaces and the kitchen was modern and well stocked. The location and views were the best!

Feet from Slea Head Drive and then just a few more feet from the water. Views shown in the posting actually understate how amazing it is in real life. Super clean place and there is legitimately a ton of room. If you packed it with the number of people it sleeps it would still be comfortable with the large bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, and living room overflowing with seating. Solid internet too.

Unbelievable spot for a vacation. We were trying to tell friends and family about the location, but words can’t do it justice a slice of heaven on earth where we stayed.! Never forget it!

WOW! This property exceeded our expectations. The views were excellent, there was more than enough room for all of us. The owners were very communicative. The sheep and baby lambs were a plus!

Our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The bedrooms were spacious and welcoming, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. The home itself was beautiful, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. We only wish we had more time to soak it all in—the location was ideal, and the view was truly spectacular. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience of Irish landscape, but bring a warm coat for cool breezy days! We even got a view of the Skelligs from the window!

Gorgeous location and a very large, charming house. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Communication with the host was good, he replied very quickly to any question I had. One thing I will mention is that just down the driveway is a popular tourist destination for feeding and holding lambs - extremely cute and very fun, but many of the visitors would go up the driveway and would be able to look into the windows of the unit. We had a couple close calls before we made sure the blinds were closed during the daytime during the busiest hours. Other than that it was a perfect, peaceful spot close to many of the points of interest along the peninsula.

Atlantic Rest is the perfect name for this property. We spent 8 nights enjoying the extraordinary views and visiting all that Slea Head Dr., Conors Pass and downtown Dingle has to offer. The Blasket Island and Skellig Michael, where Star Wars was filmed, can be seen right out the front windows. The property was very clean and has modern, working coveniences. Aedan was a great host and being part of the "Hold a baby lamb" farm was fun but non-intrusive. We would reccomend this property to whomever wants to experience the most beautiful place on earth.

Dinkle house - Hold a Baby Lamb

Wonderful place outside Dingle for a getaway. Bit of a drive to town, but plenty of cabs available if you are out having fun - arrange the trip back at night.BEAUTIFUL VIEWS of the Atlantic! We spent 2 nights there on our tour of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spacious accommodations, we had 6 adults, easily sleeps 8 or 10. Bathrooms, kitchen, appliances all new and well kept. I'd love to go back for a longer stay. I didn't realize we were right by a working sheep farm, and the baby lambs were an added bonus. Great house!

What an amazing place and a wonderful home base to explore the gorgeous Dingle peninsula! The home is large and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for our family and everything we needed for our stay. Our host Aedan was welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable. The views are spectacular! We loved feeding and holding the lambs and exploring the ancient beehive huts and stone forts on the property. Our only regret was that we couldn’t spend more time there. We hope to return someday and would stay here again. Highly recommend!

House was in a beautiful location with stunning views and was modern. The host responded quickly and did best to ensure our stay was good. An fyi not disclosed this house does have an attached apartment farm hands live in. They were kind and it was not a problem as well as the lamb farm next store. So not very private.

I'm hesitant to write this review because I don't want folks to find out about this place and then book it up so I cant get back in, but I'd be doing the hosts a disservice if I din't take the time to tell you how awesome The Atlantic Rest property is. The view alone everything morning is just stunning. The location is ideally enough outside of Dingle and yet close enough for a morning coffee run if you like. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. And the hosts are just awesome. We just adore the Wild Atlantic Way and especially the Slea Head Drive. The Atlantic Rest is a place that I will consider staying at on all our trips to Ireland. Already looking at September but it's already booked up... LOL... Looks like the secrets already out on this one. You can't go wrong with this one...

This charming place is gorgeous with breathtaking views. Our group of 6 did not feel cramped at all. The kitchen was large, well maintained, and stocked with coffee and tea. Thrre was both a washer and a dryer making laundry amongst us much easier. We did not have noise restrictions and the little trafic outside wasn't audible inside. There was a sheep farm next door where they ofder ro let you pet and feed them. It is also close to the Beehive huts, Open sea fort, and Blasket Isle museum. Where they filmed some of the recent Star Wars. The host was very friendly and helpful with places to see and eat.

Great stay in an amazing modern house with amazing coastal view

Amazingly situated house on a bluff above the ocean near Slea Head. The pictures give you an idea but don’t give it full justice: the loop of Kerry peninsula is just to the south and you can see Great Blasket Island from the front of the house. Nighttime view of stars is great on clear nights! The kitchen had all we needed to fix meals for a large family group, including a wonderful Christmas dinner. The house has some very modern updates and a luxury feel. Very clean and new beds. The sitting room with the fireplace is very nice. Host Aedan was kind enough to set up a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations to warm our stay, and the fireplace warmed the temperature as well. You might want to just stay at the house, but there are things to do and see nearby: it is located on the Dingle peninsula loop drive. A lovely short easy hike on Dunmore Head is just an 8-minute drive away. Dingle, with groceries, restaurants, and shops, is about 25 minutes.

Ideal Spot

Aedan’s house is beautiful with every amenity you could need. Located on one of the most beautiful drives in Ireland. Aedan was available for any questions you would have. He even delivered my laptop to me on Killarney after I left it behind. Above and beyond the call

Stunning property and location

This is by far the nicest house we have ever stayed in for holidays! Every single aspect of the house was exquisite and Aedán and his parents were always on hand for every query we had. And a nice bonus with the lambs and the puppies visiting us on a regular basis. We can’t wait to come back to experience the winter in a few months!

A piece of Heaven...

This is without doubt the most enjoyable and relaxing place my Fiancee and I have ever stayed. The tranquillity and peacefulness of this entirely comfortable and spotlessly clean 'home' has to be experienced to be believed. Whether it's an early cup of tea or coffee outside, with the wonderful fresh Irish air brushing in off the Atlantic, or simply staring in admiration at the breathtaking views, from any aspect outside or inside the house, at any time of the day, the warmth and comfort of this gem of a home, which Aedan has masterfully created, embraces and beguiles you from the moment you arrive at the property. Nighttime is something to be looked forward to also, as it is then you can really appreciate this magical corner of Ireland, with the wind gently whistling lullabys, and the rain dancing on the windows, ... an enchanting Gaelic melody with which to drift off into a deep slumber. Almost a week after our departure, we still yearn to be back in this wonderful place. Aedan himself is a wonderful individual, for whom nothing is any bother, and he will pass on a wealth of local knowledge to ensure your day is as packed full of adventure as it possibly can. There may have only been two of us, while the house will comfortably accommodate 10 people, even so, I have no reservation in saying that this place is the very best value for money to be had anywhere on the whole island of Ireland, offering the comfort and 'homeliness' that many 5 star establishments can only dream of. All credit to Aedan for sharing his amazing 'home from home' with the rest of the world ... it would be a very regretful oversight if you who are reading this have the opportunity to stay at this magical house, in this mystical location, but chose not to...
