Farmhouse with Magnificent Sea Views

Old farmhouse refurbished as a holiday home with magnificent views of Dingle Bay, Skellig Rocks and the Atlantic. Four bedrooms, sleeping 8. ā‚¬400-600 per week. Excellently situated for exploring the Dingle Peninsula and surrounding Kerry countryside.


The Dingle Peninsula has a lot to offer. Dingle Town (12km) has plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes. There is traditional Irish music and dancing for the energetic; and some of the finest seafood to be found in Ireland.

Also in the area there are pottery and craft stores, one of which offers the opportunity to test your own pottery skills! Excellent golf courses, sandy beaches with shore angling, and bike hire is available; as is horse-riding. There are many archaeological sites in the west of the peninsula with plenty of walks linking them, most notably the Dingle Way. The property overlooks the impressive Iron Age Dunbeg Fort.

The house itself has four bedrooms (3 double, 1 twin), and is able to sleep ten. An infantā€™s cot is also available.

The living room boasts an open coal / peat fire, with the house also having storage heating. There is a large, walled front garden with fantastic views and a private drive up to the side of the house. Worth a special mention is the Stone House restaurant and bar, which is a short walk from the house.

The house offers the opportunity to stay within easy reach of the Dingle peninsulaā€™s renowned tourist attractions; whilst retaining a quiet and idyllic setting overlooking the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.

A television with no channels. Paying extra for electricity not mentioned by STAYZ. No toilet paper or bin bags supplied and being told this is normal. Upfront information would really assist occupants. The area is lovely but I would not recommend the stingy attitude which could be solved by charging an extra 50 Euro.

Rustikal, einfach, urig, der Wind pfeift ums Haus. Es hat einen Tag gedauert, bis wir die meisten RƤume bei AuƟentemperaturen um 15 auf WohlfĆ¼hl-Temperatur gebracht haben. Aussicht perfekt.

Freundliches Haus mit herrlichem Ausblick

FĆ¼r Reisende, die die Halbinsel Dingel erkunden mƶchten, kann ich dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Es liegt direkt an der Panoramastrasse und es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist wirklich richtig gut ausgestattet, was uns oft sehr geholfen hat. Darren, der Vermieter antwortet sehr schnell und Mary, die Hausbetreuerin (sie wohnt gleich nebenan) stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Zeit.Ein rundum sorgloser Aufenthalt

Not accurate details about several things about this property listing

How do I start. On the day that I arrived at this property it in the midst of a storm the red gate on the driveway wasnā€™t secured back and swung in the wind and went through the passenger window on my van shattering glass over my little dog. Luckily he was unhurt. On contacting the property owner he didnā€™t apologise or offer to pay for the damage to my van.He has advertised that there is a restaurant nearby but was closed for the winter on asking the owner about this he told itā€™s seasonal but thatā€™s not stated on his website. Also he is still advertising about the famous Fungi the Dolphin in Dingle harbour. Funghi died/ went missing 4 years ago and he is still advertising that itā€™s still there. Also two local pubs are not dog friendly. I had to pay electric and a lot wood and coal for the open fireplace. Not impressed. Wonā€™t be going back there again.

Einfach nur gruselig

Das Haus ist so alt und es wurde seit Ewigkeiten nichts mehr daran gemacht. Es war sauber, aber es roch nach vergammelt, Uralt und Schimmel. FĆ¼r 4 NƤchte mĆ¼ssten wir 40ā‚¬ extra Strom bezahlen (es war noch nicht mal kalt). Sorry, aber ich kann es keinem empfehlen.

Limited amenities

This farm house is in a beautiful location and great proximity to Dingle and many tourist sights. The electricity to the fridge had been off prior to our arrival, so the temp took time to cool off. You have to pay for electricity. There is a fire place but there was not enough wood/moss to start even one fire to warm up. The electric heaters take a long time to minimally warm the house. There was one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 4 days. There is zero Wi-Fi and very limited cell signal in the area. House was clean but would not stay again due to lack basic amenities.

Nice Old Farmhouse

The house is a traditional old farmhouse. The equipment is simple but very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is quite small for more than 3 people. Electricity must be paid additionally (ca. 25 ā‚¬ per week ) and also bathtowells are not provided. The view is amazing and the housekeepers are very friendly.

An authentic place with an amazing view

Everything was great. It is quite a rustic place but absolutely charming. The hosts are very near and kind. Simple cottage offers a georgous view and is near to lots of beautiful sites. We thank Mary for the nice welcome.

Rustic charm coupled with the best views Iā€™ve EVER seen out of my bedroom window. I was here specifically for the Dingle marathon and it was absolutely perfect. As long as you donā€™t mind roughing it a bit. Also, make sure you bring towels/linens, fly into Shannon & rent a car!
