Originally designed and built to be permanent residences on the beach, the Sans Souci has become a favorite of regular vacationers and snowbirds. It is a gated community with direct access to the beach-and no "walkthrough" traffic from other beachgoers. Once you park in your covered garage space, you take the elevator to the fifth floor and open the door to your best vacation ever. Brightly decorated in Florida colors, this one bedroom condo is perfect for small families, a couple(or two), a girl trip or just a place to get away by yourself! The kitchen is generously stocked with everything you need to cook like you are at home because it really is a home to my family. Pots and pans, skillets and utensils, toaster, coffee pot, blender etc. A large side by side refrigerator/freezer to keep your goodies cold and a glass cooking top Bosch range/owen-with a microwave above. A dining table for 6, large sleeper sofa, love seat and 2 recliners will make your indoor time comfy. You can watch TV on the 50" screen, or gaze out of the double glass doors overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There is a half bath located off of the living area while the full bath with glass door walk-in shower is situated en suite to the master bedroom. A King sized bed is flanked by matching end tables with lamps, also a large chest of drawers and separate closet to store your hanging clothes and suitcases. The western end of the island is home to Fort Pickens, a historic pentagonal fort built to defend Pensacola Bay in 1834. It is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, home to sparkling blue waters, white beaches and coastal marshes. More than 80% of the national park is underwater, as it's a vital protective habitat to marine life.
