Best of everything

Tamara and staff answered all questions and provided items when needed graciously and timely. The location was great for all of our explorations. The accommodations were spacious and comfy. We went to many beaches, but none were as perfect as the one right off our balcony. We will be back!

Great View!

We stayed here for a week. Grizel was great and very helpful. The place was just as pictured and had amazing sunsets. The only downside was the roosters crowing at 4 am. Other than that it was a very private and nice place to escape!

Ocean View

The patio felt private and the view of the ocean is awesome. You are literally right on the water. You still see the effects Hurricane Maria had on the beaches. Locals told us they lost about 20' of beach, but Rincon still has great spots. This place is a quick drive to all of them and downtown. Close to shopping too. The pool is clean anf a great spot to catch the sunset. The bed is comfortable and the AC works great. We would stay there again. It was our first trip to PR and we're glad we chose this condo and Rincon.

Can't wait to go back

We are just back from PR and definitely wanted to review as we had such a great stay in Villa Gloria. The large apartment has everything you need and was super clean and comfy. We also couldn't believe the outdoor space - expansive area, grill, table and seating, and hammock right on the water. Your front porch is literally a sea wall where you can climb in for a swim or snorkel if the waves aren't too big (they weren't and the sound of waves crashing was amazing). The shared space on the roof was huge with loungers and a bathroom and we were in the pool day and night. Also Grizel was very responsive when we he had a few glitches finding our place and questions while we were staying there as well. The neighborhood gave us pause at first but was very safe and mostly quiet (the roosters across the street are a thing, but we thought it was great). We are already recruiting friends to rent several of the villas for our next trip.

Wonderful stay in Rincon!

We recently returned home from a week-long visit to Rincon, and we were thrilled with our stay at Sunset Paradise Villas. We were in Villa 2 Upper, which has a gorgeous ocean view from the private terrace. Grizel, the on-site manager, checked in with us regularly to make sure that everything was in working order and we were happy with the property - I was particularly grateful for her responsiveness when our travel plans were changed due to weather at the last minute, and she made sure we were able to check in on a different timeline than originally agreed on. The photos on the website are great representations of what you will find here - spacious accommodations and crystal-clear water right outside your door! For travelers visiting in the near future, it might be helpful to know that there is construction going on next door that begins around 6:30-7:00am. It didn't bother us in the least, as we were up with the sun and ready to hit the beach before the afternoon rain storms, but for light sleepers or those who want to sleep in, you may want to bring earplugs/white noise apps, etc. Thank you, Grizel and Bill for a wonderful stay - we'll be back for more beach therapy soon!

Literally Paradise

This prosperity is absolutely beautiful. Our experience with the property is that it was very private, quiet and absolutely gorgeous. The oven didn’t work - or we couldn’t figure it out. We didn’t call, but no doubt the property manager would have taken care of it. Grizel was very responsive. This was one of our best vacations ever. Thank you!

My new go to place for Rincon

We loved this unit. It was so peaceful staying there with the deck that went the length of the unit with ample room to just set up camp there and read, relax, eat our meals and gaze onto the ocean. We chose this unit because it offered the flexibility that if COVID rates necessitated it we could just stay in and be self-contained or if feeling more free to be out and about could be close to downtown and the restaurants and shops. Turned out we could do both. The facilities were as promised, the AC would have been fine, but all we did was open the doors and windows and turn on the ceiling fans and we were quite comfortable so didn't even use the AC.

Nice area; no WiFi

We really wanted to give this place 5 stars. They really wanted us to give them 5 stars (they say to contact them immediately if we wouldn't give them 5 stars for any reason and they will fix things). First, they gave us the wrong code for unlocking the door to check in. Slightly silly, especially since they took the time to write us a paragraph about how to properly enter the key code. Fortunately we were able to get in touch with them quickly and got the correct entry code. Next, and far more important, I contacted them immediately to let them know their WiFi was horrible. I think they share one Internet hookup with all 6+ of their villas. In any case I let them know. They simply said they had the fastest Internet they could buy in the area. We have to work while we travel, and we were on a business trip just trying to enjoy the area in our down time. The Internet was abysmal. We consistently had pages not load. We had emails have to be sent, re-sent, and re-sent again. EMAILS. That is horrible Internet service. I brought this to the attention of the manager again, and told them we would be checking out a day early the next day because we simply could not work in those conditions and we had important things to do. I asked for a refund for our last day only. Then they stopped responding to me, when they had been so responsive before. Go figure. It is a clean villa in a great location. They stock it with the bare minimum that you would want, but it is stocked. If we just wanted to put our feet up and disconnect and live simply for a few days it would have been great. But if you need Internet at all, this listing is entirely misleading. You will not have a good experience with their WiFi.

Old world charm

Villa was spacious and clean. Charming old world with exceptional view of the ocean and the lovely sunsets. The roosters are a nice touch! The waves crash right into the building and at times can be loud, although we did get used to it. Unfortunately there is no beach but a small cove down the street. Cabinets in the kitchen need to be replaced. When we first arrived the stairs were dark and it was a bit spooky but the building manager and maintenance took care of it the next day. They were very helpful and responded quickly. The Villa is across the street from their baseball field and tucked into the neighborhood.

Native to Puerto Rico, Jose Luis Quiñones the owner of Sunset Paradise Villas has been passionate about the Ocean since his early age as a Surfer in Toa Baja. Naturally born a business man, Jose Luis started his first business as a teenager building and confecting customized surf boards for Surfers from all over the Island. As an entrepreneur, being always true to his passion, the young Quiñones moved closed to the beach in the early 2000 to develop the first Surfers House in the Island’s North Shore in Vega Alta and Isabela, the first “All Inclusive Surfing Tour in Puerto Rico”. Shortly after, he developed La Villa in Aguada, a saucerful vacation rental property where he welcomed travelers from all over the world.

Always evolving and keeping up with the trends of the Market, in mid 2020 Quiñones had the opportunity to acquire Sunset Paradise Villas, an exclusive private property in a privilege location, directly on the water in the beautiful town of Rincón. From renovations to the Villas accommodations and designs to the selection of water sports equipment and programs launched for all guests, the new owner came quickly to transform the Sunset Paradise Villas to offer a World Class experience for guests of all ages.

In the Western tip of Puerto Rico, there is a piece of paradise so vibrant and so colorful, in a privileged location you will find Sunset Paradise Villas, a unique Oceanfront Property, and one of the Best Beach Villas in Rincón, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

Our 8 accommodations range from a one-bedroom unit for a couple, to units for 4, 6, 8 and 10 guests. With a total accommodation of 50 Guests. And events venue with room for up to 100 people.

Rincón is also known as the Surfing Capital of the Caribbean and the City of Beautiful Sunsets.

For transportation, it is advisable to rent a car, which will make it easier to travel the most distant parts of Rincón in a short time. Walking distances could be long.

The property is located from downtown about 5 minutes by car and about 30 minutes walking.

To the lighthouse and the surfing beaches it can take 11 minutes by car and more than an hour walking.

For those who are enthusiastic about the sport of surfing, Rincón has excellent beaches that produce world-class waves. The wave season starts in October and ends in April.

In Rincón we enjoy very good gastronomy, art and culture.

Rincón has different offer of bars and restaurants, and tour operators for horseback riding, hiking, visiting waterfalls, agriculture, surfing lessons, sailing, and more.
