This charming home is nestled back on a peaceful 1.6-acre wooded lot and only steps from the private cove which opens up to the heart of Cedar Creek Lake. Perfect for a romantic getaway, family time, weekend with friends, or an extended vacation, with just the right combination of lake fun and relaxation.
Swim, fish, canoe, and enjoy plenty of outdoor fun during the day, then take in the amazing sunsets while sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. The cove has a sandy bottom and is shallow enough for children to touch! The property has a walking path through the woods, access to a vegetable garden, and open areas for outdoor games, and the home boasts a large outdoor patio and fire-pit area. Available to our guests are lake floats, kayaks, a canoe, games (inside and out), WIFI, and Much More. Only 7 minutes away from the nearest boat ramp and Boat/Jet Ski Rentals, spend the day on Cedar Creek Lake or check out other activities in the area on the cedar creek lake website.
The spacious home, with an open floor plan of almost 2000 square feet, is a dream for entertaining. It comes fully equipped with linens, towels, cookware, and everything you could possibly need. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed with a private master bathroom. The second bedroom has Two queen size beds and a spacious full-size bathroom right next door. The sunroom, with atrium doors for privacy and a very comfortable queen-size futon, could be used as a third bedroom. The living area, boasts a new 75-inch Smart TV, with two extremely comfortable queen futons for sleeping and plenty of additional seating, and flows easily to the dining area with a beautiful large reclaimed wood table. The kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, place settings, and more. The back patio, perfect for family fun and entertaining, has 2 grills, 2 picnic tables with large umbrellas for cover, plenty of chairs for seating, and a nice fire-pit area. (wood provided). The recently added Master spa looks out into the woods and is with view of the firepit.

Great get away!

Great location, near the water and park. The "Farmhouse" place was a truly a relaxing place. Lucinda is excellent host! We do plan coming back many times in the future! It would be great for family or just for 2. We hated to leave.

Great getaway!

We had a great time at the property. Such a terrific peaceful location next to the cove. We all enjoyed the provided kayaks and paddle board. Great amenities and everything you would need! We will be back!

Spring Break Last Minute Fun

We had to change plans last minute. We requested to book on Saturday for Monday check in and Lucinda was very accommodating. The home was everything the listing outlined. The remote, quiet & country-like location was perfect for us & getting to town only took about 15 min if we needed something. Lucinda added special touches like a warm plate of cookies, a s'mores kit and was readily available if we had any questions. We'd defintely stay here again if in the area.

Great and Amazing Experience! Will rent again!!!

I seriously cannot say enough positive things of this lake house! We had such a blast. The home was beautiful and so large! It was clean as can be and stocked with basically every single thing you could possibly need. All we had to do was bring our own food! It had glasses, plates, bowels, silverware, cooking utensils, pans, and even wine glasses for a romantic evening by the fire on the back patio! An amazing view of the lake and even a small sandy beach area you could wade or sit in and relax. This was such an amazing place to stay at and you can tell the owners really care about their guests. We will definitely be regulars and we canā€™t wait to go again! Thank you for everything!!!

Lovely home

Lovely, spacious home. Beautiful windows everywhere. Lovely spa-like music playing as we entered. Everything was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Dining room table is huge. Delightful sunroom with lots of games for the family ( I think some pieces are missing from the 300 piece jigsaw). Living room has a comfortable reclining loveseat, and two large couches/futons/bed that are surprisingly comfortable, too! Both bedrooms are nice and large (know that a stool is definitely necessary to climb into the TALL bed in the master bedroom). Bed is "just right" and sheets were great quality. Lovely spacious bathrooms. Large walk-in closet in master bedroom. A/C easy to manage, and television has a channel guide in the binder in the kitchen. Checkout procedures are easy. Only tiny disappointment was not being able to start a fire in the firepit -- two lighters in the kitchen wouldn't work and the kids were looking forward to smores. Not a big deal; we easily went on to something else. Lucinda was great; easy to contact, friendly and hospitable. Our grandchildren enjoyed the backyard -- plenty of space to run around. The online listing shows pretty pictures of the cove, which are fine and that cove is lovely -- just know that there's really no pretty view of the water from the house. Altogether we were all very pleased with our stay -- thank you, Lucinda, so much!

Family Time!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a quick family getaway! Plenty of room, all of the beds were extremely comfortable. We had plenty of activities to do but also enjoyed just relaxing and sitting around the fire pit talking. We made plenty of new memories and will definitely be back!

Amazing rental for our family

My husband and 20 month old son stayed at this property for almost a week. It was incredibly clean and had everything we could ever need or want. The house, the yard, and the cove had so many options for entertaining ourselves and our kiddo. We would recommend to anyone and plan on renting again ourselves in the near future. Perfect Place for Much-Needed Change of Scenery and Relaxation!

From the time we walked through the door to the time we left, we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, relaxing place to spend a few days! We have stayed at a number of VRBOs in the past and have never been made to feel as welcome as we did when we walked in to soft music playing, lights on and cookies out. Wonderful touch! Incredibly clean ... which, especially being out in the country, must be hard to maintain! The property has so much to offer and so many amenities to take advantage of -- as others have said, all you need to bring is your food. Would highly recommend to others wanting a super quiet, relaxing time! Thank you for opening your homes to those of us who aren't as lucky as you are to have such a pretty place on a lake!

Perfect for what we needed!

My husband, our 4 kiddos, & my parents all stayed for 3 nights & it was great! It slept everyone comfortably & had EVERYTHING we needed down to the beach towels & bug spray. We just had to bring ourselves, clothes, & food. It was perfect for a short family vacation amidst all this COVID social distancing craziness. We will definitely be back!

Quick Getaway

We needed a change of scenery and some room to run after 3 months of isolating! The house was extremely clean and the kids LOVED playing in the cove, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and let's not forget eating outside and making s'mores! This property has it all and then some! Great way to vacation safely and responsibly during a difficult time. We had a fantastic trip and appreciate the owner's attention to detail--outdoor ambiance, cleanliness and cookies on arrival!!

A wonderful lakeside getaway.

This property is amazing! Itā€™s walking distance to the lake, spacious on the inside, and the hosts are AWESOME! The cove is absolutely wonderful, and they have kayaks and a canoe for you to use! It rained on our weekend getaway, but it was still a great place to stay indoors, and we still swam. The fire pit is also amazing, itā€™s large and they had plenty of firewood. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a lakeside getaway; we all had a blast.

Relaxing and Well Stocked Home

What a beautiful, quiet lake house. This property was stocked better than any rental we've ever staying in. AND it was so clean!! We had plenty to do, and plenty of opportunity to relax and have some good family time. The additional houses make a great spot for large families!! Easy access to the lake.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! WOW!

This entire property blew our minds. Everything was ready and waiting for us, from fresh coffee beans ready to grind for our morning coffee and flavored creamers, to the neatly folded towels, to the fresh linens and bedding. The view of the lake was spectacular, with plenty of seating to enjoy the view. The kids spent all day in the private cove swimming, and we enjoyed family paddle board and kayak adventures out on the lake. It was serene, private, and a unique family weekend we will never forget! We will be back!!
