Come and enjoy the beautiful view in this lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin with amazing front porch mountain panorama of Maggie Valley. Convenient to in town shops, restaurants, golfing, sightseeing and much more. Located in a quiet and friendly, well maintained community with paved easy access. Visit nearby Waynesville, Asheville and Cherokee.

Inside features a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area. Living room offers a gas fireplace, cable TV, DVD, VCR, wireless internet. Queen size bed in the master and guest bedroom also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Each bedroom features TV with cable. Two full baths, with tub/shower combinations. Linens provided with a full size washer and dryer.

Outside covered porch includes rocking chairs and a swing to enjoy the beautiful views!

Reviewer Comments: Only problem was our first day with the hot water, my mother in law took a 20 min shower, after that the 2 bathrooms ran out of hot water, we called Melissa and she was very supportive but there was nothing she could do late at night, we should wait for the water to heat again, the other day everything was ok and the six of us decided to take maximum 5 min shower for the rest of our stay, other than that everything was perfect, the property is well located, close to the city and the Cataloochee sky area, great view and very quiet place, I recommend

Needs an update, smelled like smoke..

The couch was very broken in. Beds were comfortable. The fireplace wasn't working our entire cold stay which was a bummer. Also one of the bedrooms smelt like cigarette smoke, the home is supposed to be non smoking.

A little piece of Heaven in Maggie Valley

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a rare gem, just absolutely perfect for a fall mountain vacation. The unit was spotless, very nicely decorated with everything “bears” to make you feel at home in our vacation home for the week. Everything in the kitchen was provided ...dishes, glasses cups, pots and pans, silverware. We brought our soaps and paper products but found many items already left behind by others. We were only about a half mile off of the main road, but felt like we were way up in the mountains with gorgeous views from our back porch...our favorite spot! We even saw an Elk on the way to dinner crossing Campbell Creek Dr! That was a real treat! We ate dinner at a different restaurant every night...Butts on the creek, Salty Dog, Frankie’s, J Arthur’s, Cafe Italiano, Snappys pizza Italian Restaurant, Valley House...none of them disappointed. Also had a late breakfast at Joeys Pancake house! All very good eats and prices. Plenty of beautiful mountain vistas along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were close to Cherokee and went there and also to Smoky Mountain National Park. I do believe we were blessed with peak fall colors to make it even better. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely recommend to everyone...

A delightful week of spectacular sunrises

Reviewer Comments: There were four of (two married couples) us on this trip to the annual Salvation Army Bible Conference at the Lake Junaluska Conference Center. The open plan of the common areas and the placement of the bedrooms made this cabin perfect for our needs and our sleeping arrangements.We found everything in the cabin to be in working order and very clean and orderly.Thank you for hosting us.

Upstairs....downstairs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Totally my fault for not checking the rental out more thoroughly,but, if you have mobility issues, find a different rental. Front and back stairs are quite steep and we were super careful each time we went up or down. We limited our time each day to once up and once down. The place was very clean, but the lighting, especially in the bedrooms , was very poor. Several lamps did not work properly or at all. No extra bulbs available. Pretty view from the front porch. Definitely for younger folks, not 74 and 78 year olds..

We came from Colombia looking for the snow and we actually were very lucky to find it in our second day. Our home was perfect for the occasion, very comfortable and cozy.

Well stocked kitchen

Beautiful views, lovely sunsets, many restaurants close by. The only downfall was having to remove all our trash, and directions to the dump must have been written by a 6 year old. A trash can or dupster on the property would have been fine, but having to remove our trash or be charged $50 seems unfair with the dump so far away.

Great view

If this home doesn't have it, you don't need it. The only consideration is the stairs to enter, fewer on the rear, more in the front for senior citizens. Not a problem for us but may be for others. Comfortable, comfortable, comfortable.

Highly recommended

Great cabin with everything you need. Very comfortable throughout including beds ! Sitting on the porch and looking at the valley and mountains was so relaxing. We saw the most amazing rainbow which lined floor of value. So close to blue ridge parkway and entrance to great smoky national park

Great House missing fireplace

The location, facility, and management were excellent but the fireplace was not working while we were there due to no Propane in the tank. That was the only negative that I had with the listing

Great Mountain Views

Wonderful views from the front porch. Kitchen well supplied. Great Wifi...There are several steps to enter the back door and even more to enter the front. You are very close to your next door neighbors - meaning if they leave outside light on, your bedroom may be lit up like a runway !!!

The cabin was perfect

Has to be one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Set up perfectly. Very comfortable. Very quiet area and close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Not the worst, but not the best either!

We were disappointed with being required to wash and put away dishes, strip bedding and take garbage away from property. TV was hard to operate with no instructions so we left it on the whole time we were there and just muted it at night. We have traveled all over the world so we feel justified in criticizing this accommodation as not being worth the price paid.

We were able to get this cabin due to a cancellation and so very thankful we did! It was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in and loved the location. The view from the porch is amazingly beautiful! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Quiet and out of the way

we had a very pleasant stay at Mountain Veiw. It was close to the BRP, SMNP and Ashville. The stay made it convenient to a variety of vacation options
