Come to the Sea 'n Sand Vacation Home where it is only steps to ocean kayaking, swimming and crabbing off a private dock.
This garden suite has floor to ceiling windows with spectacular ocean views, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious open plan living. Enjoy lounging on the dock with your own deck space or taking a five minute walk to the village for shopping, restaurants, and live theatre. Walking distance to Quarry Rock hike (Baden Powell trail) and easy access to downtown Vancouver. Perfect for the guest seeking peace, tranquility, and fresh air. Coffee, tea, wi-fi, and cable tv available. Bedroom with a queen sized bed and a single pull-out in the living room. Please, no smoking and no pets. There is an elevator to the main floor of the house from the car port and parking for car . There are stairs to the beach level.

Absolutely Amazing, Robin is a great host!!

What a wonderful place to stay!!

We had a great time hiking nearby, kayaking to twin lakes, and enjoying a glass of wine on the dock at night. Robin was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. So happy we chose to stay here!!

Deep Cove Delight!

We stayed at Robin's beautiful Deep Cove waterfront accomodations for two blissful weeks. We practically lived on the deck. The apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay and Robin was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The true delight of being here is the location. We enjoyed watching paddleboarders, kayakers, and small boats pass by in this quiet cove. There are kayaks provided, so we joined in the fun a few times. The nearby shops, restaurants, and marina added that special feeling of "we picked the right place to stay." Our best memory will be the mother and baby seal that seemed to have chosen our dock as their home base. What a treat to watch them play and sun themselves so close to us! We also felt the location was convenient to Whistler and a very quick drive into Vancouver. Thanks, Robin, for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Location

Robin is a wonderful host of a beautiful water front property. She provided the perfect balance of being available to answer questions about the local area whilst giving us our space. The property is well equipped and was spacious for our party. Lots of storage space in the bedroom for clothing and the sofa bed in the lounge was comfortable for my 13 year old daughter. The highlight of the property is of course the prime location with direct access to the water. We used the kayaks provided by Robin multiple times and enjoyed many hours sitting on the jetty reading and watching the wildlife on the water including the seals who regularly came to say hello. We had a wonderful time and would love to return in the future.

Excellent waterfront location

We are a couple who stayed for five weeks in Deep Cove. One of us was working from home most of the time. The lovely deck by the water works as an extra living room (summer time) and many hours were spent there reading and working on the laptop. We enjoyed the kayaks (although one had a broken rudder), the daily swim, the birds and seals passing by, and the quiet nights with the lights along the water. The stairs from the driveway are steep, but they also highlights the feeling of a private, secluded place. Robin was easy to communicate with and very quick to solve any minor quirks. This is a truly amazing place and we would love to come back.

Rental was clean with beautiful surroundings, Deep Cove is a must visit!

The 2 stars I gave this rental is for location and it’s access to the water and near by activities. Where this rental lost stars was the property owner. Unfortunately. I hate to say anything bad about others; however, I rented this space for my parents (Ontario) and brother (Alberta). I live in North Vancouver and simply didn’t have the room to accommodate them. They were uncomfortable for most of their stay. Although Robin was Very! kind at the beginning she later turned loud, inappropriate and insulting. She was being judgmental and later, name calling. I saw her earlier reviews and was shocked by her behavior. At first we thought she was going through a tough time in life and tried to stay inside to give her privacy but later in the trip that anger we could hear her expressing from upstairs became directed at my family. This is and was inappropriate, rude and disrespectful. I highly recommend Deep Cove, as a local it is more then a spot on the north shore for vacation, it’s is apart of our life style and the beauty we call home. There are many rentals in the area with or without the access to water you have to so many options, everything is so close and all public access (for the most part) also you can enjoy the area and down town all the same. It’s sad to say but I can not recommend this rental. We found the property owner to be unstable.

We appreciate feedback from all of our guests and will take this review into consideration. We aim to offer guests a peaceful retreat in the heart of the natural beauty of Deep Cove. Unfortunately, in this instance, there were differences in expectation and lifestyle that made this a poor match for the guests and for the owner.

Three day like going to an aunt’s house.

Mrs Robin was so welcoming, just like being in an aunt’s house. The house is lovely on three floors and the first floor is all for you; a private dock and the view on the ocean and islands gives you the opportunity to swim and go kayaking either than sip a glass of wine after a day spent in Vancouver which is really a short distance drive.

Amazing experience

We loved staying at this property. It was clearly explained to us on where and how to park and how to access the suite. The view was spectacular, we had fun using the crab traps, and kayaking to see the seals. I even loved the fact that the shower had a piece of tape with where a good place to set it was. We did feel the suite could of been cleaner but it wasn’t terrible. And it definitely wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

Great location, lovely apartment

We had a great stay in Robin's apartment by the water in Deep Cove. The village is very pretty and the property is right by the water with the a lovely deck and jetty. There's space for a car and North Vancouver is a short drive away.

Beautiful location

Perfect location by the water in beautiful Deep Cove. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Nice property with many good features but some things were tired and in need of some maintenance.

Perfect Getaway

Simply wonderful

If you are looking for a place for quiet relaxation in a beautiful setting this is it. Robin is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. There is plenty to do within walking distance (hiking, shopping, dining) and if you want to go into Vancouver there's a bus that will take you there or anywhere along the way for just $2.95. Words can not describe how beautiful and wonderful this place is. Thank you Robin!

Perfect place to relax

My husband and 3 yr old daughter stayed here for 3 nights for a family vacation. The property was exactly as described (including the 59 steps down/up - great morning workout!). The view was spectacular, even when foggy or rainy! We enjoyed watching the dock move up and down 16 ft with the tide. The host, Robin, is lovely. She took the time to talk with us several times, but was not intrusive. Lovely lady :) We highly recommend using the kayaks! So relaxing to glide across the cove on the mirror water. Bathroom is great, kitchen has a good assortment of pots and pans, etc. Bed was pretty comfortable. The giant chair in the living room was the favorite spot for all 3 of us :) We heard some noise above us, but it wasn't a bother. Deep Cove has a Safeway really close, and it is about 45 mins to downtown Vancouver. The town is small and adorable. We will certainly come back again!

Amazing Location!!

Beautiful suite on the water

Clean, comfortable suite with an outstanding view. Easy walk to restaurants and trails in Deep Cove. Coffee and fresh fruit waiting our arrival! Grabbed Honeys coffee and donuts almost every morning, then walked to the cove for morning gaze out over the water. 30 minutes or less to downtown and interesting hiking trails like Lynn Valley. Incredibly peaceful place to stay near the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver! Will do again!

What a beautiful setting.

As previous reviewers have stated this is a great vacation spot. Lots to do and close to Vancouver. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the stairs. I believe there were 59 steps down to the suite so that means 59 back up again. If you have small children, bulky luggage or mobility concerns it is a challenge. The steps must be used each time you leave the property. All in all a wonderful stay.

If you want to experience Waterfront living , 10 feet from the water , you have to go down 4 flights broken by landings where you can rest , a great start to your day to energize you on the way up !

The property itself was absolutely spotless, comfortable and well equipped in an unrivalled setting.

We spent a glorious month in this property , in a holiday setting which would be hard to beat. Nestled between the rugged wildlife of Mount Seymour and the tranquil waters of Deep Cove , my daughters and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Deep Cove itself is a utopian little village with cute shops and lovely eateries ( don’t miss Honeys donuts) There are wonderful kids parks nearby to entertain the younger ones and downtown Vancouver is only a bus ride away ( or sea bus , depending on your preference) so teenagers can shop to their hearts content! The wonderful Robin let us use her kayaks every day , so we are almost old pros now, and she was always on hand to advise us on anything we needed to know. How we will all miss her. Under her advice, we found out where the seals sun themselves in the afternoon and often took a quick kayak ride to say hello . Quarry rock and the Baden Powell trail are literally moments away and Deep Cove is handy for Stanley Park, Granville Island and all of downtown. We also rented a car to visit Capilano, the Sea to Sky gondola , Whistler and Horseshoe Bay. I really can’t recommend the natural beauty of Deep Cove highly enough , and in particular Robins Sea n Sand rental property. Her private dock was so handy for kayaking and for relaxing with a book or magazine. My daughters announced this the “ best holiday of their lives”, and we can’t wait to make a return visit. Thank you so much Robin for making us feel so welcome. If we could award more than a 5 star rating, we definitely would ❤️ The Longman family Scotland

LOVE THIS PLACE

What a beautiful location. My 2 kids and I were the first VRBO tenants and we absolutely loved it. We had access to the canoe and the kayacks and spent a lot of time on the water even though it was a little cool - my kids even jumped in. Great location for hiking and outdoor activities and a very quaint downtown. 30 min drive to downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park and Scotiabank Baseball field. Robin the owner was lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this place and if I ever get back to Vancouver, I will stay here.
