Our home is part of a real community in the Village of Oak Creek which is 7.3 miles from Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona. Sedona itself has become quite challenged by large traffic volumes at certain hours. The Village does not have these traffic problems but it has all the amenities one would want such as a full gourmet grocery store, plenty of restaurants, art galleries a most amazing and fun indoor & outdoor bar called the ShadowRock Tap + Table where one can sit around small campfires and enjoy conversing and playing games such as pingpong, corn Hole, shuffleboard, darts & foosball. This is particularly great when the kids come to visit. It also has the very enjoyable Majestic Theatre. It has Las Vegas style seating & features live comedy, variety shows, musicals & concerts as well as classic movies.

Some of the best hikes in Sedona are minutes away by bike or car or one could even walk to the trailhead of the Bell Rock Trail. This is also the trailhead for one of the few moderate mountain bike trails in the Sedona area.

We are only a short drive to other areas such as old town in Cottonwood, Flagstaff for hiking and Prescott for their historic old town.
