Derek, We have been fortunate in the years we have managed properties not to ever have had to keep a deposit. Yours would have been returned to you too if: 1. You had you not allowed your dogs to urinate and defecate on the floors, walls and couches. Although in your own words to us, you did clean up some urine! 2. Or maybe… if you had used the paper towels and ample supplies of cleaning products provided in this unit instead of the white linens/towels to wipe up what you yourself described to us as a “greasy fish fry.” 3. You might also have had a chance of it being returned if, again as you stated, your child had not left a huge wet stain on the loveseat – which even after drying was still very evident. 4. You had not allowed your dog to chew up some of the owner’s property (kitchen utensil, throw rug)! 5. Put something dark, stinky, and sticky in the washing machine which stuck to the inside and was deposited onto the linens that you started. We provided pictures of all of these things to both you and VRBO. Instead we had to use your deposit to replace the linens, have the couches professionally cleaned and pay our cleaning crew extra to return the unit to the way you found it when you checked in. 30Ez Vacation Rentals has overwhelmingly 5 star reviews on this property alone, not to mention the other properties we manage, which is a better reflection of our “agency” than the libelous heading above.
