Spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath house w/ pool and Scuba Zone

Whether you are coming to Bonaire to dive, snorkel, wind surf, or just relax Reef Retreat is the perfect oasis for you. We're located in a quiet neighborhood ¾ of a mile north of downtown making it a 15 minute walk or a short 2-minute drive to the shops and restaurants in Kralendijk.

All three bedrooms have an air conditioner and the master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. The guest bathroom also houses a washing machine for your use. The house has a large open design and because it is built "on the wind" the living area stays cool throughout. The property is fenced in offering you privacy, with a rolling security gate in the front for security.

There is a nice sized private pool for cooling off situated next to a comfortable outdoor living area, where you’ll likely end up spending most of your free time.

There is a BBQ grill on the patio and the kitchen is updated and fully equipped with most anything you may need should you desire to stay in and cook for yourself.

Several dive shops are located just a couple minutes drive away and our “Scuba Zone” includes an outdoor shower, rinse tank, table and BCD hangers designed to hold your scuba gear.

This house was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. It offered a lot of amenities, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cookware and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals at home. The included beach chairs were a big plus and very convenient.The outdoor spaces were excellent, with a great patio for relaxing and a gorgeous pool. The layout of the house worked very well, and the bedrooms were comfortable, with air conditioning in the bedrooms that made sleeping at night very comfortable.The location was quiet and convenient, making it easy to get around the island while still feeling relaxed and private. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and an excellent home base for our Bonaire trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Home away from home

It was spacious and neat. We had a very warm welcome from Kelly and Jack and they made us feel right at home. If we needed something they were there to help or assist us and made us feel like we were family.

the house was ok but we didn't realize that it did not have full air conditioning so that was a problem also the dogs in the area barked all night every night so we couldn't sleepthe house was in a very good area but the dogs and lack of air made it where we wouldn't stay there again

Home away from home with added goodies

This is a great property. There is a local grocery two doors down and neighborhood is pleasant. We never had fear of crime and took normal precautions. There is a locked gate for our rental car at night and we had no concerns We went to Bonaire primarily for snorkeling, but the scuba area was perfect for us too. It gave us a great area to clean our gear and hang clothes after a day at the beach. There are independent water heaters in each shower which was a blessing as all five could shower without waiting for hot water. There were plenty of fans and the air conditioner was a dream come true for us from the north. The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts were amazing! They helped us understand the island and how things worked. It was a ten minute walk to the shoreline where we picked up breakfast and bread for the day. Easy walking to the market next door (yes there is a bar but it is a local establishment and was never noisy). I cannot say enough about this property, the owner, and the hosts. It was a very enjoyable experience and I cannot recommend it enough. Save money by cooking your own food from the local markets at a great house at a great location.

Home sweet home !

Wow, this home was perfect. Was including ALL we could hope for. The beds are very goods. The home is bigger than what we have thought. Everything in this house is planned for a wonderful Diving vacation. Thanks for sharing with us a piece of your Paradis !!

Ruim huis met een mooie buitenkamer en een fijn zwembad

Het is een ruim huis, met voldoende ruimte en meubels voor 6 personen. De keuken en de tv hoek zijn ok, enige opmerking is wellicht dat er qua glazen en kopjes niet zo veel aanwezig is. Wat we wel echt misten was een waterkan om water koud te zetten in de grote koelkast. Het echt grote pluspunt aan het huis is de heerlijke buitenkamer aan het zwembad en de geweldige mogelijkheden om je duikspullen te spoelen en op te hangen! Wij hebben nauwelijks tijd binnen doorgebracht. Het huis ligt in een woonwijk tussen de locals en dit vonden wij prettig, maar dan moet je wel de honden, geiten, kippen en hanen in de omgeving voor lief nemen.

House in local area

Spacious and clean house. In walking distance from Kralendijk. Kelly and Jack, the hosts, are really the best. Very warm and friendly people, easy to contact and very much willing to help in every way they can. In the houses surrounding the property live local people with many dogs that bark a lot.

Nice place in Bonairian sun

A nice holiday house situated near the center of Kralendijk with shops, etc. and beaches around. The swimmingpool is excellent for cooling down from the hot sun, while you also can stay outside in the shadow under the extended roof.

Wonderful location and facility

This was such a great rental. The house is in a great neighborhood, close to everything and is comfortable, well maintained and well equipped. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the rental. Super experience.

Geweldig luxe verbleven.

Het huis was zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er waren zelfs zaken als koffie, olie en andere kookbenodigdheden aanwezig, evenals allerhande zaken als anti-insectenspray. Enige twee (kleine) minpuntjes van ons verblijf was dat het er enorm stofte (zowel buiten als binnen (shutters open) kwam dagelijks een nieuwe hoeveelheid vers stof binnen (we zijn niet zeker of dat aan de lokatie lag of door over waaiend Sahara zand kwam) en het feit dat je echt in een woonwijk zit met veel honden (geblaf) en veel race geluiden van motoren en overig verkeer. Op de slaapkamers hoorde je daar echter weinig van.

We were quite pleased with our stay at Reef Retreat. The owner and property manager were very responsive. The house had all amenities and we particularly liked the Scuba Zone setup and privacy. The criticism would be the neighbouhood and the incessant barking of dogs day and night. we did not ever get a full night sleep. We would not stay in a Bonarian neighbourhood again.

Perfect house for diving holiday

I stayed with four friends for 9 days in the house. The house was fine with all you need in it. The scuba corner in the garden was good to wash and let dry the diving gear. The house was clean and the service of the owner was great. We had a problem with one of the showers, we called and within the hour there came some one to fix it.

Mooi groot huis met alle voorzieningen, goede bedden en leuke buren.

Leuke grote woning met veel gelegenheid om buiten te zitten, zelfs bij een regenbui. Als er een cruiseschip in de haven ligt, komt het toeristen treintje langs het huis voorbij. Het huis ligt goed qua zon en heeft ook voldoende schaduwplekken, wat het erg aangenaam maakt. Chinese supermarkt is op de hoek en verder is alles qua boodschappen makkelijk te kopen. Nu met carnaval en naderende verkiezingen was het 's avonds soms wat luidruchtig met alle luidsprekers die muziek uitbraakten, terwijl de hanen uit de buurt heel goed de zonsopkomst aangeven. Het huis is zeker een aanrader voor families, ook met kleinere kinderen..

Prachtig verzorgd huis. Helemaal compleet. Centraal gelegen, kwartiertje lopen naar Kralendijk.

Geweldig huis. Eigenaar David reageert meteen op vragen van ons. Kleine ongemakken werden direct opgelost. Het huis is zeer compleet ingericht. Prima bedden, voldoende lakens, handdoeken en strandlakens Mooie grote tuin rondom. Kralendijk op 15 minuten loopafstand.
