Welcome to Kas di Amor, a delightful 2-bedroom house thoughtfully designed for your comfort and relaxation. The front bedroom features a queen-size sleigh bed, adorned with local watercolor art, and offers stunning ocean views. The back bedroom is equally inviting, with a queen-size bed and charming coastal-inspired furnishings. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Kas di Amor offers air conditioning in the living room and kitchen areas. While many guests prefer to let the refreshing trade winds naturally cool the space, the air conditioning provides a comfortable way to escape the heat and relax indoors whenever desired. The living room, tastefully decorated with coastal and nautical touches, offers both air conditioning and a 7-foot ceiling fan, along with a sleeper sofa and a tropical banana chair for lounging. The kitchen is equally inviting with air conditioning, modern amenities, and plenty of space to prepare delicious meals.

Our welcoming kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a side-by-side fridge with a water and ice dispenser, a 5-burner stove, a convection oven, and a dishwasher, making meal preparation a breeze. We’ve also provided small appliances like an Instant Pot, rice cooker, blender, and coffee machine for your convenience. Enjoy your meals with tropical melamine tableware and Yeti mugs to keep your drinks hot or cold. Preparing and savoring delicious meals during your stay has never been easier or more enjoyable!

The vibrant bathroom, painted in a cheerful orange with white tiles, includes a teak cabinet for your towels, toiletries, and a ceiling fan for added comfort.

Step outside to the patio, where you'll be greeted by breathtaking ocean views and the fisherman's pier. It’s the perfect spot to explore our house reef, relax, and enjoy Bonaire’s spectacular sunsets. Our garden is a haven for nature lovers, attracting hummingbirds, bananaquits, parrots and butterflies.

At Kas di Amor, we’ve ensured all the amenities you need for an unforgettable stay are at your fingertips. We provide a dunk tank and private outdoor lockers to store your wet snorkel and dive gear, an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, and private parking. Cook up a feast in the outdoor kitchen with a BBQ gas grill and sink, and gather around the communal table for shared meals. Guests staying seven nights or more receive a complimentary load of laundry once a week. Plus, there's a hammock for ultimate relaxation.

Great hide-away on Bonaire!!

My husband and I booked this place and brought along our best friends. We wanted to spend a lot of time scuba diving and this location was great! A little stretch of the legs to shopping and restaurants, owners super responsive to meet our every need, and so personable! Loved our stay just wish we had booked for longer than 2 nights. Next time, we will!

A Fabulous Stay

The property is in an excellent location for everything! Walking distance to great restaurants, walks by the water, snorkeling, etc. The 2 bedroom apartment where we stayed was lovely! The hostess, Grettja was so helpful, so kind! We will go back just to see her!!

Beautiful Bonaire Dive Haven

Our stay at Treasure By The Sea was perfect. Our host committed to ensuring that our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. As a diver, this was a perfect location as a dive base to launch our excursions throughout the island and was conveniently setup to accommodate all of our gear on our return each evening. Well done.

Treasure by the Sea is a gem

We stayed at Treasure By the Sea for three nights. It was just a few days into the start of Anita’s tenure as the new manger. Anita was a wonderful host. She was always available, offered assistance, and was quite delightful. The grounds of the property were well maintained. The Kas Di Amor unit was comfortable and roomy, with nice outdoor space on the patio and a view of the ocean. Snorkeling nearby was very convenient. The walk into town along the waterfront was a pleasant way to access the shops and restaurants. Having daily visits from the very friendly cats and dog was an added treat. Thank you Anita.

Open The Treasure by the Sea to fall in love with Bonaire

This was the second time I have stayed at The Treasure of the Sea. I hope just the fact that I have returned to this heartwarming property is a recommendation itself. However, I want to share many other reasons that The Treasure by the Sea is your destination heaven. Chris and Su will treat you like family and will make sure your stay is more than you could have wished. The location is perfectly central for shopping. swimming, diving and snorkeling.. The units are tastefully decorated with relaxing rooms and a full kitchen. They were actually cleaned enough to keep my wife happy. We enjoyed every minute of our visit and can't wait to come back the third time and gather more memorable treasures.

Truly a Treasure By The Sea

We stayed here over Christmas and New Years. Su and Chris were absolutely the most accommodating and generous hosts that you could ever hope for. Their place is exactly as advertised. Our trip consisted of snorkeling, relaxation, socializing and discovering some of what Bonaire has to offer. Treasure By The Sea was the perfect location for us to accomplish all of this. We are definitely returning!

The Perfect Combination...

1. Tremendous hosts. Su and Chris live on-site and are not only gracious and thoughtful landlords, but genuinely nice people to be around. They arranged a last-minute snorkel tour for us to Klein Bonaire through a friend of theirs, and had great site-seeing and practical advice, from snorkel spots to grocery stores. 2. Great location. Close to all the downtown stuff, a half-block from the water and about 10 minutes to the airport. 3. Superb accommodations. The compound is very nice, from parking to the really convenient dive lockers. The unit was immaculately clean, extremely well-equipped and very attractively furnished. Throw in a very reasonable rental rate, and you have the reason for the title of this review. The best recommendation we can give is that we will definitely be back when next we visit Bonaire. No, wait, a better recommendation: We might come back to Bonaire soon just because our stay here was so nice.

SPECTACULAR!!!!!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Jan 2017. Everything was perfect!!!! Location was within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The best part of the location was that we could snorkel directly in front of the property just 1/2 block walk. The board walk was lovely and we walked on it many evenings. We stayed in the end unit and enjoyed the privacy. Amenities, everything we needed was readily available. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes small appliances and the outdoor kitchen was great. The towels were large and in good shape. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We used the outdoor seating area, we ate our meals at the bistro set outside and relaxed in the hamock. Chris and Su live on site and they are an excellent source of information. It is so nice to have them there but they also respected their guests privacy. They insured everything was clean (extremely clean) and well maintained. The restaurants they suggested were some of the best we dined at. They booked a couple of tours for us and we were not disappointed. They are well informed on who offers the best experience. Chris and Su were great at responding quickly to my many emails and questions before we arrived. I gave them 5 stars before we even arrived. I can not say enough about what a fantastic property and great hosts await you. You will not be disappointed the pictures are exactly what you see. Thank you to Chris and Su for sharing your beautiful property.

Beautiful!

Su and Chris were wonderful hosts. The rental property had everything we needed and was right in town so 1/2 block and you could snorkel right off the piers, walk on the board walk, shop or go for dinner. Su gave us so many ideas on things to do. Also was able to rent their truck for a couple days to do things. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing!!!

This was our first time on Bonaire and couldn't have been more thankful for Su!! Our flight was delayed missing our car rental, and she arranged a taxi ride. We mentioned we wanted to dive, and she connected with several companies an arranged several options. We didn't know where to eat, and she made reservations for us at one of the few places open on a Sunday! From someone whose travels at work, I was beyond impressed by her customer service and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay and time on Bonaire! I highly recommend any of their properties!!!

Treasure by the Sea

An all too brief stay, just 3 days at a lovely new place just steps from the water. Our hostess Sue could not have been more helpful. Our 2 bedroom one bath apartment was beautifully appointed and lots of care was spent in getting all the details just right. Both outside and in we could not have asked for more. Highly recommend it.

A very nice apartment in a great location.

Our party was comprised of two couples who shared the apartment for eight days. The owners Chris and Su were on site and very helpful. We went snorkeling, kayaking, kite boarding and hiking while we were there. It is a short walk into town and grocery stores are nearby. We had the end apartment with a clear view to the water and local fishing dock. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable.

Fantastic

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our honeymoon! We had been to Bonaire several times before staying in different homes; Treasure By The Sea definitely takes first place. We wanted to be in a clean place, near the ocean and near downtown. The location is hard to beat, you can see the ocean across the street, or walk to it in one minute. Downtown is an easy 5 minute walk along the beautiful coast so you can get a drink, shop, find a restaurant or jump in the water. Diving is everywhere on the island. Everything thing you need is available at the unit. It was very clean and felt safe. We would buy our food and cook often at the house. It was also quiet which was nice for sleeping. Plenty of room and very comfortable to relax in or sit on the porch and kick back. And to mention the owners Su and Chris, their hospitality was first class and it made the trip for us. Very kind people who are nearby in another unit on the property and are available to help plan your trip or give awesome insight to different things to do or places to go that may not be on the regular tourist list. We will definitely be coming back at some point!

Comfy & charming digs on lovely Bonaire

I couldn't agree more with the other positive reviews! We are also snorkelers, & love places you can just snorkel from shore, without having to take a boat to access the best sites. Bonaire is this place, & the location of Treasure by the Sea makes it easy. Su & Chris are a wealth of information, & couldn't have been more helpful & accommodating. They seem to have thought of everything imaginable to make their guests comfortable. Decor is charming & well thought-out, & both apartments are really attractive. BTW - we love the heat, & never used the A/C in the bedrooms. The lovely breezes were enough, & each room has a ceiling fan. Loved this place, & these lovely people!

Two Weeks in Snorkel Paradise

Dear Su and Chris, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treasure by the Sea, Kralendijk Bonaire. Every day was a snorkel adventure and fish and underwater life was everywhere you jumped into the water. Bari Reef, Klein, 1000 steps, Salt Pier, and many many more sites abound; if you enjoy relaxing time at the beach and snorkeling, this is your paradise. From Houston, non stop flight Saturday afternoon returning Sunday morning was a plus. Sue and Chris were very attentive and gracious hosts. They seemed to never stop working, so since you are reading this and will likely visit Bonaire, we highly recommend you stay at this property. Tell them both to take a day off (they won't) and keep enjoying the lovely property and surroundings. The house was well kept, very clean, had enough of everything we needed, and if it was not there, Sue and Chris offered it to you. Their hard work at the property really showed off. The location was great to get to town (10 minute walk on the water), and being a small island, you could really get to anywhere in short order. We enjoyed dining at the Argentinan steakhouse, Between Two Buns, Kite City (food truck at the airport beach), Rumba cafe to name a few. Prices were much lower than we expected. I am already having Gelato withdraw from missing Gio's downtown. Best way to enjoy a sweet treat and a cappuccino, and a bit of AC bar none. Thank you for the bikes, the beach chairs, and your daily smiles and greetings - we really enjoyed our time on the island and recommend anyone coming to choose Treasure by the Sea. Peter and Michelle

Excellent stay

Wonderfull adress. Bit hard to find, but directions and maps are send a few days in advance. Bonaire is a beautiful island. The appartments are very wel decorated and very comfortable. Everything you need is available. Chris and Su are good hosts for this island and will set you up with everything you need (diving, driving, shops, restaurants). The exterior of this appartments are getting better every day. If we would go back to Bonaire, we would stay here. Better than a hotel! Close to the sea. Good walking distance to Kralendijk Centre.

Treasure by the Sea is a Home Run

Last month we spent ten days at Treasure by the Sea, and it was delightful. Chris and Su are genial hosts, friendly, helpful and very, very nice people. Our apartment was sparkling clean, nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen extremely well put together. The appliances are first class, and we had all of the comforts of home. We often opened the back door to let the trade winds slide through, and at night were very comfortable with just a little air conditioning in the bedrooms. We rented their truck, which is a diesel Nissan, almost new, and it too was clean, gassed up, and ready for us to load up for driving and diving. The location of the apartments is great, as you are away from the noise and lights of town, but just a short walk away from the restaurants. We enjoyed very good Pizza at Rumba Cafe and came to rely on the recommendations of Su and Chris. They were cheerfully helpful in every way, and we highly recommend Treasure by the Sea for your stay. We will stay with them on our next trip to Bonaire.

Wonderful stay on Bonaire

Staying at Treasure by the Sea exceeded our expectations! Su and Chris were wonderful hosts. It was like staying with friends. They genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great time in Bonaire. Chris recommended many wonderful snorkeling sites (since we were not divers) and conveyed his excitement about the island. Su went above and beyond to email us with a lot of helpful information before we arrived and answered all of our questions thoroughly and timely. She even went out of her way to find us a guided tour into Washington Slagbaai Park since we did not have our own transportation. They were friendly, generous, flexible and fun to be with. Each day we enjoyed coming back to share our adventures and plan for another day. The apartment was very well appointed with nice furniture and bedding. It was a very clean and neat property that was well taken care of. Su washed the linens and towels mid-week. It had all of the supplies we needed for cooking etc. All of the pictures on the website are accurate for sure! it is clear that Su and Chris take pride in their property and want people staying there to feel they are getting something special. The outdoor dining on the patio was very relaxing; smelling the Caribbean air and plants and seeing the iguanas and parrots each morning. Having access to their truck, scooters or bikes as needed saved us a lot of money and hassle on car rentals. Having the owners on site provides a great way to learn about what the island has to offer from a local perspective. Even though there are three separate units they are all still private from one another. Their location is walking distance from restaurants and only one house away from the water and great snorkeling. It was an amazing trip and we look forward to going back to Bonaire and staying with them again.

Relax in the Carribean

This place is wonderful! Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The real benefit are the hosts: Chris Vogt and Su are so helpful and attentive its like have your own concierge. Always follow their advise on restaurants. The rates are a bargain. You will need a car and be warned that traffic rules do not apply to motorscooter drivers! Beware of wandering goats and donkeys.

Beautiful Home

We stayed for a few days and had a fabulous time in the lovely apartment provided by Su and Chris. We loved the easy walk to restaurants and shopping, and fabulous snorkeling just feet away (but beware the jellyfish hee hee). Air conditioned comfort, smooshy towels, and relaxing beds awaited us each evening after a day of adventuring. Chris didn't even mind when we took over his PS3 to watch Christmas DVD's!

Wonderful vacation rental in Bonaire

Our family including 2 young children(7 & 6) visited Bonaire for our vacation. We enjoyed beautiful beaches and nice weather in the island but the highlight was definitely this lovely apartment and Su & Chris, the owner. Starting from picking up at the airport around 6 am, they always tried to help us. They let us use a bicycle, a BBQ grill and even cooler boxes. We, especially our daughters, enjoyed having chat with them everyday. The apartment is also lovely and very well organized and we enjoyed cooking everyday. The location is also nice, walking distance from downtown. We've already missed our wonderful experiences.

Treasure By The Sea Bonaire offers a unique and welcoming retreat with four distinct properties: one studio, two one-bedroom houses, and one two-bedroom house. Our accommodations are thoughtfully designed for comforts of being at home in a tropical paradise. Our most popular feature for ocean lovers is having a dunk tank, outdoor shower and private outdoor storage lockers for your snorkel or dive gear. These amenities are conveniently located by the front gate, making it easy to store your equipment when you first enter.

Convenience is key at Treasure By The Sea Bonaire. We provide private parking in the driveway, and from either side of our property gate, you’re just 50 steps away from the sea. Our house reef is amazing, with clear and calm waters that locals refer to as the natural swimming pool.

Our prime location places you within minutes of downtown Kralendijk, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and the vibrant local culture. And don't miss the spectacular sunsets that paint the sky each evening.

We are committed to sustainability and protecting our precious island resources. We recycle glass, aluminum, cardboard, and plastic. Gray water is collected to nourish our beautiful garden. We avoid single-use plastics and encourage our guests to do the same by bringing metal water bottles to refill with Bonaire’s delicious desalinized water.
Bonaire’s electricity comes from a combination of windmills, solar power, and generators. We ask our guests to help conserve energy by turning off all electricity when leaving the house.

To ensure a fresh and natural experience, bedding and towels are hung on the clothesline and dried in the sunshine. We avoid using perfumes or deodorants in our laundry, keeping our guest houses allergen-free.
