Looking to get away from it all? Want a dog-friendly house? Look no further than Bayou Boogie.

This updated house is conveniently located on Cotton Bayou Drive in Orange Beach. You may park underneath or behind the house. Under the house is space to relax and a room with a washer/dryer. Go up the stairs in the back and find a deck with plenty of chairs and loungers to relax on. While the house is the one closest to the road, you can see the bay or walk down the path to the bay.

As you walk in the back, there is a dining area with a kitchen. Beyond and to the right is the living area. There are plenty of places to relax in the living area with a flatscreen television and free WiFi for entertainment. Enjoy a meal at the dining table or whip one up in the kitchen. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and pots/pans/utensils to use during your vacation.

Watch the boats go up and down Cotton Bayou or just enjoy the sunrise or sunset in beautiful Orange Beach. This home is soon to be your vacation of choice in Orange Beach.

Pros: Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Space and sidewalks to walk and take dogs out too. Loved the back deck and the views of the water. Very relaxing visit to OB.Cons: Very limited kitchen ware/cookware. What is there is very warn, chipped etc. Had to buy S&P (NO spices, coffee filters, sugar etc. foil, plastic wrap basic essentials) Bring your own. We made it work and had a nice store bought Thanksgiving dinner. Was pretty good actually and I'm picky. Purchased from deli at Rouse's Market.

Fishing Trip

Stayed a couple nights on a family fishing trip. Close to the marina and restaurants. Pleanty of room for the four of us. Even caught a few trout on the pier.

Very Nice Beach Home

Nice beach home that rents at a very reasonable rate. Dock is large with comfortable seating. We brought out boat and there is ample space to dock a large boat without difficulty. The house sits off the water, but we enjoyed the short walk to the dock. Owners were very friendly.

We had a wonderful family trip at this lovely house !

Everything was spotless and well kept! The house comfortably slept all six of us and we had plenty of room for activities. The beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable. The beach was a 4 minute drive as listed. Very nice beach access with clean bathrooms. The dock wasnā€™t available and we didnā€™t know until the day before. So that was the only disappointment. So if youā€™re fishing that may be a problem. Other than that it was great will be staying again.

Brief business trip

The property was great. A co-worker and I traveled to Orange Beach for a business meeting. We were displaced after our initial rental at another property was uninhabitable. We returned to the Vacasa app and found Bayou Boogie. The response time was wonderful. We were able to reserve the property and access it immediately. The property is located close to everything. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when I visit Irange Beach.

Short Stay

The property was beautiful and in a great location for our short trip. We weren't at the house much, but when we were there we just felt like the whole house was dirty. Some of the cabinets were not fully wiped down so they were sticky. We also did not appreciate how the laundry facilities smelt like weed. Probably from a previous renter, but it was an unpleasant smell that was carried into the home. We would defiantly rent again in the future!

We loved our stay. Nice location.

My only complaint is the master shower had no shelving or rods. No one wants to set a bar of soap on the floor. A portable shower caddy or shelf would help. Otherwise it was great.

June 2025 Review

The location of the rental was convenient and the neighborhood felt very safe, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed the spacious porch, as it was a great spot to relax. The automatic exterior lights were a nice touch for coming and going after dark. However, the porch light didnā€™t work; itā€™s possible there was a hidden switch, but we couldnā€™t find it. We were also disappointed by the amount of dog hair throughout the home, especially on the furniture. The quality of the towels and linens was below expectations, and there was an unpleasant urine odor in the master bedroom that affected our comfort. With some attention to cleanliness and a few upgrades, this rental could be greatly improved.

Great location & good for families

We enjoyed our stay but wished the description for dock access was accurate. It says there is but it is outdated. The reason we booked the property was for dock access for fishing. Luckily we were able to chat with the dock owner nearby the property and weā€™re able to use it during our stay. We enjoyed it and got some crab using our crab cage. We were grateful for such a great location close to amenities but far enough away from the craziness that comes with the Hangout Festival.

A action Review

I absolutely loved this house. There was plenty of space for my family had it been all four of us. It was very easy to check in and out. If I had to say anything negative about the house, it would be the sliding glass door maybe needs some curtains to pull over the door at night and maybe a porch roof for shade. I really donā€™t think there was anything negative about the house, those comments should actually be recommendations instead of complaints. Looking forward to our future booking.
