Recent improvements to all our outdoor spaces, include a wrap around upper and lower deck with plenty of outdoor seating. Sun deck dock with lots of room to enjoy the sun and swimming, along with the other water equipment we offer.

Spend quality time with family and friends and enjoy the endless lake and mountain views from this 4BR/3BA home located inside a gated community on Lake James. The private double decker dock offers space for a boat, not included, and two decks for lounging. There are area options for boat rentals and other water toys. Included, are 4 kayaks for guest use and 2 paddle boards. The outdoor entertaining space is great with a large back yard with fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating for dining. Your eye goes directly to the water! There are upper and lower decks on the rear of the home, facing the lake, and both offer seating options. These decks have just been updated and expanded! Our lot has expanded to include the cove to the right and we are working to make this space usable to our guests by adding walkways for kayak access.

Boat trailers are not allowed to be parked in the driveways, if you bring a boat, you will need to secure off site parking. The manager can send you information on a location and costs.

About the house:
Upper or main level has master bedroom and bath with patio doors to the deck overlooking the lake, a second bedroom with another king bed, large hall bath, and great room design with kitchen, eat in dining, and living room with vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace. New larger doors now lead out to the deck with extra dining options and expanded seating.
The lower level has a large den and smart TV, bedroom with queen and new larger patio doors to the lower deck, and one more bedroom with a queen and also a bunk bed. Large hall bath. The laundry area is located off of the bunk room. Home offers internet and 3 TVs for convenience.
Lake James is located in both McDowell and Burke Counties and offers 30% of it's shoreline to the State Park, so it's no wonder that there is no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy in our area. We have boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoes, hiking, biking, trails and mountain climbing. Marion and Morganton are nearby towns that offer shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. Come explore the great outdoors at Lake James and see what makes our water stand out .
