We acquired the property (July 2018) and completed extensive upgrades including; new carpets, paint, dishwasher, furnishings (bedroom and living room), New 65” & 45” Smart TV’s and high end Surround Sound system,
Complete new restocking of the kitchen, all new high quality amenities, linens upgrades, artwork, new BBQ, Lanai furnishings and much more..

We installed a new high capacity split air conditioning system in May 2019. Moving the condenser unit off the Lanai to ground level below for more Lanai space and less noise.

About our condo suite:
We are ideally located in the lower part of Ekahi Village - just across from the beach. 18e is a spacious 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the second floor. The suite is fully updated - tastefully decorated - 952 sq ft. Living space plus an extra large 200+ sq ft. lanai. New quality carpets throughout (Sept. 2018) The Lanaii has outdoor ceiling fans, patio dining set up for 6 and two lounge chairs for relaxing. There is an exceptional view of the ocean, gardens and the South Maui mountains. The sunset view from our lanai is spectacular.
Easy access and free parking right at your door. The resort office is conveniently located in our building so check in and arrival set up are a breeze.
The suite has been completely upgraded and remodelled with quality finishes and furnishings.
Ideal for a couples getaway and for smaller families.

The unit best accommodates 4-5 in beds (Master suite -King size bed, new living room Queen. Size pullout sofa bed and matching love seat pullout single sofa bed).
We may, by exception allow up to 6 in a family if desired. We have comfy fold out floor mattresses if needed.
The unit is fully air conditioned and has a well equipped modern kitchen. The attractive indoor dining area seats 6, is nicely appointed and integrated with the main living space. The living room has a voice activated - 65” media center smart TV (new Sept. 2018) with surround sound, internet based media center with Netflix access (under your own login) and many other apps capabilities, using your own apps and programs.

For those less tech oriented, you can still use the remote control or the smart TV in the bedroom.

Great quality Bluetooth, HDMI, USB , current music / stereo centre.
High vaulted ceilings and custom high doorways throughout provide a very spacious look and feel.
The large luxurious master bedroom features a very comfortable king bed, direct access to the Lanai, a custom en-suite with lovely glassed in shower, granite top vanity and a large walk-in closet. There is a wall mounted 45” flat screen TV and a built in desk / IT centre.
The spacious second (guest) bathroom has custom features matching the en-suite together with a stacking washer dryer closet.
We add some extra touches to make you feel at home and relaxed.

About the resort:
Ekahi Village is a very popular, sought after vacation resort at the entrance to Wailea. It is famous for it’s beautiful grounds and gardens, quiet elegance and it’s excellent beachfront location. You experience the luxury and location of the grand hotels of Wailea without all the extra costs, crowds and add on charges. You have the freedom to cook your meals and enjoy a home away from home atmosphere.
The resort property spans 35 acres with 54 - 2 story buildings housing 295 privately owned condo suites. There are 4 pools including a large beachfront main pool with lounging areas, shaded areas and a covered guest pavilion. The covered Pavilion is brand new (Feb 2020) and includes an exercise room and group event facilities.
The resort has private gated access to and from poolside and the world renowned Keawakapu Beach.
You can enjoy great snorkelling and all the fun beach activities just a few steps away. You can also explore the incredible beachfront walks and scenery in either direction. A very cool thing to do is the Wailea waterfront beach walk along the beachfront resort pathway / beach stroll, (walking or jogging) heading south for over a mile of sandy beaches, 5 star resorts cozy coves, dormant volcanic flow features and spectacular ocean views. Heading north from the beach gate is a wonderful 1 kilometre long sandy beach ending at the Manakai hotel resort and the 5 Palms restaurant / bar. (our favorite)

On site there are 3 other quiet pools with private lounging decks. The quiet pools are normally for adults and are located throughout the resort. The lower village quiet pool is just a 1 minute easy walk from our suite.

Note - The main beachside pool pavilion has been completely re built in 2019. All new furnishings and modern decor, barbeques and great atmosphere to enjoy at poolside.

Shopping and dining nearby
Within comfortable walking distance from the resort are the elegant "Shops at Wailea" and a selection of fine dining and casual restaurants and bars. Ekahi is just a short drive from the Pilani Hwy and from the many shops, activity centres, beaches and restaurants of South Kihei.
The two Wailea golf courses are just above the resort and it is a ten to fifteen minute drive to Makena - Big beach and the spectacular dormant lava flow fields and snorkelling at Turtle Bay.
The Ekahi resort spreads up and out from the main pool area in benches developed in 3 phases.
The lower village units are the most popular as they provide quick and easy walking access to the beach and the main guest pool area. The upper and mid village units have steeper slopes and longer walks.
The units to the north (including our unit) can have a some road noise at times when the lanai doors and windows are open. However Maui shuts down around 9:00 pm and when the sliding lanai doors are closed there is very little noise.

Our service commitment:
We are new owners at Ekahi. (July 2018).
We have extensively updated and upgraded the unit. We have replaced all of the kitchen ware and supplies. We are very responsive to our guests’ needs and we deliver a high quality product at a fair price.
