Although our review by the guest was low she did not inform us of 8 guest and 3 dogs. When I asked her about it she did not understand that we can not have that many guest or dogs in our house.

Great guest We welcome them back for a repeat visit.

The house was very clean. When someone calls you at 1030 am on the day of checkout which is 11 am and starts to complain about their stay it’s because they want to be refunded. They called stating they were locked out. The key code wasn’t working. They were sent another code, which they did not even try. She was very rude to my husband when he came to help. It appears that they just wanted money refunded after they stayed there the entire stay. They never called during their stay to complain of anything until 30 prior to their checkout time. We hope they choose another place the next time they come to the crawfish festival so they are happy.

These 2 were the nicest people and had several unfortunately occurrences while on vacation. They were troupers and just kept on going. Hopefully there will be some fond memories from this trip. Thanks again for vacationing with us....

We had the renovation done by a professional company and the cabinets and other woodwork is all out of cypress which is a very fine wood and specific for this part of the country. By the way to everyone out there we went out of our way to give this couple information about special events in the area and places to dine. Thanks a lot Alexis for your great review and please do not even try to book our place again because we are completely booked for the next 2 years!!!

This couple was looking for a party time in Breaux Bridge. Asked us if the Zydeco Breakfast was still open. When they could not find bars and places to go to drink because of the COVID they wanted to depart. I found a whole garbage can full of liquor boxes to the top of the garbage can. They were just looking for an excuse to leave because they were unhappy about their situation with not being able to party. I have a video of the house right after they departed which does not have one bug.

This woman is totally crazy. She refused to pay for the first night. We gave her the code to get into the house even though she had not paid because Vrbo doesn't do same day booking. She was charged $126 dollars and it wasn't the next day when she paid. I had to call her the next day in the evening hours to see why she had not paid for the first day. She even stated that the car rental place would not take her debit card at the airport and she didn't have her credit card with her on a long distance trip. She wasn't able to rent a car on a debit car (Duh). That was the first red flag that told me she was not honest about not understanding how Vrbo was charging her 2 times (the first time was for her 5 day stay and the second for booking the same day as travel and arrival). Then I had to call her a second time the next day because she still had not paid. She tries to manipulate people like the car rental place and me into not paying or paying with a debit card (when that is definitely not the protocol of a car rental place) This lady tries to swindle people into getting what she wants free. Please do not rent to her. I promise you she will manipulate you too.
