Shore Thing on West Branch of Keuka Lake

Lake living at its finest, in a newly renovated cottage and we just added a '40 permanent dock with cleats on both sides to tie off. A main house on the edge of 100' of waterfront, with two bedrooms, a full bath and laundry. One bedroom is a king size bed and the other is queen size bed. Across the street is a small bungalow, with two bedrooms, main living space and full bath. The bungalow has one bedroom with bunk beds, one bedroom with queen size bed and the main living space has a full size bed and a pull out couch. The property also has a fire pit, a boat house with a plethora of tubes for lake floating and there are games galore for those rainy days. The views from the deck never disappoint, including the famous Keuka Lake sunsets. It's a Shore Thing your family will have memories to last a lifetime.

Nice cottage

We enjoyed our stay. The bungalow needed some cleaning, as there were a few too many spiders and spider webs, but the main cottage was fine. It was a nice place to stay. We would recommend this property for a stay on Keuka Lake.

Perfect property; awesome host

This property was perfect for our 7 person group. The beds were comfortable, facilities were clean, and every space from living room, to kitchen, to deck, to lakefront are each their own individual entertaining experience. Beth was a great host. Wish we could Have stayed longer.

Incredible property. Right on the water with a spacious upper deck, grass and rock beach area plus a new dock. Lots of open living space in the main house and great sleeping space in both the main house and the bungalow. Kitchen is well stocked for any type of meal prep.

A lovely family vacation week

Our three generation family had a lovely time. The living space was clean, well-maintained, and modern. It was well supplied with paper products as well as linens. The dock was ample and the Swimming area was good sized. The kids loved the floating dock! We will be happy to come back next year.

Wonderful lakefront property

Wonderful cottage right on top of the lake. You can hear the waves lapping while you sleep! Great location. Lots of afternoon sun. Responsive owner. Super clean cottage! Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Lovely, spacious cottage with great views of the lake! Very nice property - gradual walk-in lakeshore area, nice dock / deck area with plenty of seating, and firepit to enjoy. Inside nicely decorated and pleasant. Many essentials available for use. Would love to visit again!

Best Location for a Wine & Lake Weekend

There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake. We were able to access the Keuka Lake Wine Trail and enjoyed some of the best wines the area had to offer. The outdoor grill and picnic table were amazing for dinners. And the fire pit by the lake was a gathering spot each night. The boat launch at the state park 2 miles north is really nice and easy to launch your boat. We would absolutely go back again!!

40th Birthday Getaway to the Finger Lakes

The hosts were amazing! Everything was absolutely perfect! There were 10 of us and we all slept comfortably. The weather wasn't perfect but we made the best of it and even kayaked a couple of days. Gorgeous views both day and night. A great house for entertaining, the layout is wonderful and the Bungalow was perfect. Plenty of wineries, breweries and distilleries near by. Even got to enjoy some live music. Each one of us had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for a getaway. Thank you Elizabeth and family for making it so great!

Week away from the cities!

It was a great week away up in Keuka Lake. The location is great and the set up with the bungalow and the main house is perfect for good sized groups. The deck is perfect to hang out on and grill at night and there is plenty of room inside to hang out when it gets too chilly. Beth and the owners are super communicative and responsive and we had zero issues during our stay. It is quiet and you feel remote but its only 15-20 minute drive to Penn Yan for stores and vineyards, breweries...etc. Very easy to get around and parking is very convenient at the house! We would definitely come back and this is a great spot for groups to hang out and enjoy the lake and the beautiful sunsets.

Wonderful - Perfect!

What a week! We had a wonderful time. Shore Thing was just what the doctor ordered! Beth has thought of everything. The house and cottage were exactly as described. Clean, organized and Beth could not have been more accommodating and kind. We ranged in age from 13 to 76 and everyone had a fantastic time. From the well supplied kitchen to the fire pit, you will not be disappointed. The only negative - we had to leave! Centrally located, we rented a boat, we visited wineries, spent an afternoon in Hammondsport. Can't wait to go back!
