Beautiful Nostalgic Keuka Waterfront Home

Recently renovated Victorian lake home. With all the original architecture, this cottage has TONS of appeal to vacationing guests! A rare find on Keuka Lake, and only a mile from Penn Yan, this 3 bedroom 2 bath has panoramic views of the lake from every room in the house.

The remodeled well-appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances, Silestone countertops, wine glass holder & wine rack, maple cabinets, ceramic tile floors & a ceiling fan. It is well-stocked with all the spices, utensils, pots & pans a gourmet chef could need! The dining room has panoramic lake views, country style dining table with seating for 8. The spacious living room with breathtaking lake views features a electric fire place and a smart flat screened TV. Summer breezes off the lake can be enjoyed through beautiful french doors that open to the large covered porch, which also features 2 large ceiling fans. The house is fully heated with air conditioning as well.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, window seat for quiet reading space, a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, and panoramic views of the lake. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, (which can be changed into a king sized bed), a queen futon, as well as a set of bunk beds. It also has ceiling fan, a flat screen TV , a DVD player, and has panoramic views of the lake as well. Both are upstairs. The 3rd bedroom is on the first floor. It is off the living room and down a few stairs. There is a double bed and a ceiling fan.

The first floor living room has 2 queen sleeper sofas for additional sleeping arrangements. First floor bath has a shower/tub combo. Second floor bath has a jetted Jacuzzi tub/shower, with a washer/dryer in the closet.

A canoe & paddleboat, along with several life jackets, are available for your use.

This was our second time here, it is such a beautiful property that zaps stress away the moment you see the view. We love staying here because it feels homey and the right amount of space for a group. The views are incredible.

Loved this home. The patio area was the best. We spent most of our time on the patio area. We love the finger lake area and have been here many times. The owner was very pleasant to talk to. The house was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.

THE. BEST.

Location was amazing, a short lovely drive to wherever we wanted to go. Three minutes from a grocery store! Loved watching the baby ducks playing in front of the cottage as well as a sweet little muskrat that liked to swim by on his back often and I even think he waved his paw at me once as to say 'welcome to the lake!' We saw two eagles that flew 100 feet from the dock - that was epic. If we come back to upstate NY, this is where we will stay.

Perfect Lakeside Cottage

The cottage was the perfect spot for us to celebrate a birthday weekend. The property is quaint and charming without feeling cramped, and the views from the porch and dock were amazing. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Kirk was accommodating and communicative and since he lives next door, was available when we needed assistance. Can’t recommend this place enough!

A gem of a lake house!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The house was clean, decorated cute for fall, and everything went smoothly with the trip. Great location, close to the town, and not too far from Seneca Lake/Watkins Glen. The front porch was so relaxing and fun, great place to sit and drink coffee and watch the sunrise. You can tell the owners take great care of their property.

Perfect Get Away!

The owner did a wonderful job updating this gem as he was able to maintain its original character and beauty. The property (landscape) is stunning as it adjoins the owners property creating one of if not the most beautiful properties on the lake in my opinion. Also, the owner was kind, helpful and accommodating, I just can’t say enough to express how perfect this trip was!

Nice but uncomfortable

Very nice location. However Kirk had the opportunity to tell me upon check in that the house had AC issues. Apparently the house doesn’t have adequate insulation to keep the interior cool on hot days. AC couldn’t keep the temps tolerable at all. Hot outside and inside. For the per night cost I expected much better conditions for my family. Renters beware

Place could be in a movie

This place was so charming and beautiful, instantly at peace from the moment we stepped on the dock. We loved everything about the home and location, already planning to book again next year. The owners thought of everything, there was nothing we needed-thwt even had supplies for us to make a fire outside, and a nice binder for everything we might need to know.

Charming and cozy lake house

This cozy cottage provided our family with the perfect spot for a fall Keuka Lake retreat. Our host was delightful and provided all we needed for a memorable stay. The broad porch and the fire pit, wood provided, were enticing features during the crisp fall days. We hope to visit again!

Nice Keuka Getaway

Property is beautiful, situated right on Keuka Lake. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck listening to the waves rolling in and spending time with our group of friends. Check in, check out process was seamless, and property owner kept us very informed in days leading up to our stay. Would definitely recommend this property

Fall weekend for wedding

Amazing property and best porch on the lake

Very relaxing stay. Even though the weather was not the best, we were very happy enjoying the lovely front porch and views of the lake. Home was clean, kitchen complete with anything you need.Upstairs bedrooms very spacious . Very boat that was able to accommodate out pontoon boat nicely. Owners were very helpful and we would love to come back again.

Keuka Lake Waterfront Home

This property is a great getaway. The property is immaculately maintained and the the hosts, Kirk & Barb are wonderful to work with. They are responsive to your needs to the last detail. Girl's get away

Host was very responsive. Location was picturesque! The gardens were stunning. Everyone was in awe of the place. It has the most beautiful porch to gaze at the lake. Highly recommend!

A wonderful cottage!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The view was incredible, and being right on the water was so relaxing. The cottage was beautiful and clean, and the pictures were accurate. The location was great. I hope to come back another time!

Eastview Cottage

This is a beautifully restored historic lakefront property with a great front porch and nicely landscaped yard, perfect for outdoor living . Although the week we visited was unseasonably cold and windy we enjoyed our time inside. The location was also very good-close to town yet felt private.

Kirk and Barbara Vieselmeyer purchased Eastview Cottage in the summer of 2015. We purchased Eastview Cottage because we own the blue cottage, Lake Lawn Point, next to it and we always loved the architecture of Eastview. We purchased Lake Lawn Point in 2011 and completely renovated it as well as our guest cottage , Sin Cottage. It is called Sin Cottage because back in the late 1800s the women didn't approve of the men's smoking and drinking habits so Sin Cottage was built for them. Sin Cottage is our guest home but it usually is occupied by our family. We have 4 married sons and are thrilled to have 10 grandchildren and another one on the way ! We embrace family time at our lake home and we enjoy meeting new guests each year.

We purchased Eastview Cottage because we own the blue cottage next to it and we have always loved the architecture . It was part of the Lake Lawn Estate once and we wanted to keep it's history intact. We feel that location is the key to owning a lake home. We are five minutes from Penn Yan and when you have a family and many guests there is always something that we need in town. Or after a fun day at the lake we might just order some food from town. We also are close to many wineries and breweries as well. Having a hospital near by is a big advantage too. The water is pretty shallow and usually warm. We have very friendly lake neighbors that we enjoy socializing with.

Dan and Nancy Brooks are the owners of the nearby Colonial Hotel. They clean and provide the linens for Eastview Cottage. They are always available to help you with any concerns that you may have and they are located directly across the street.
