There is no better place to watch the sun go down then at The Bay House.
Nightly sunsets, a perfect sound breeze and a large backyard with views.
Centrally located, just houses south of the public boat ramp and 1 mile to the ocean.
Our home is newly remodeled along with a brand new bike path along Bay Drive.
Our home provides a cozy master with a King Tempur-pedic and private bath.
The guest room has 2 twin memory foam beds.
Full bathroom in the hall with a stand up shower.
Linens and towels provided.
Full kitchen with all main appliances and amenities.
Spacious living area with sectional sofa.
Smart Tv's in every room.
We provide Wifi.
Screened in back porch and a open porch in the back and front.
Outside shower with sound views.
Hot tub downstairs.
Pier with pier house.

Absolutely no smoking and no pets.

Absolutely loved the location! The home was very comfortable and has everything we needed. The bay side was fantastic. My husband and kids loved going fishing and kayaking. I highly recommend this home and location. I would love to stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent Property

This was our second year staying at this property and we are still in love with it! Nice location on the water, beautiful sunsets, quiet neighborhood, and close to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. The property has everything you need, is very clean and the host are very kind and prompt in responding to any questions. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful cottage on the sound

We loved the Bay House! It was so incredibly quiet and peaceful despite being just a few minutes to all the amenities of OBX. We loved swimming and kayaking off the dock, relaxing in the hot tub and the super close beach access. The house was clean, well stocked and cozy. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay in The Bay House! The view is beautiful. The home has all the amenities we needed, was clean and comfortable. The owners were quickly responsive to any questions we had. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return.

Beautiful stay on the sound

Fantastic from start to finish! The weather didn't quite cooperate, but it was great to come back to the hot tub and great views of the sound at the end of the day. Loved the quiet, walkable neighborhood and the house had everythig we needed. Lindsey was a great host, communicated quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Annual OBX Trip

First time staying at this property but have stayed at other host property. The view is amazing! Loved waking up every morning to the view of the water and watching the sunset from the private pier. There were alot of jellyfish in the ocean a couple days and it was very hot so it was nice to just enjoy the day rekaxing on the pier with a nice breeze. The location was a short drive to many restaurants and shopping. We had one issue but contacted the host and she responded immediately and resolved it. The house is perfect for a small family. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!!

Comfy and cozy with an amazing view!

We loved this vacation rental! Our family of four (two young kids) stayed here for our first trip to the OBX and we had a comfortable and enjoyable time. The house has everything you need. You can tell the owners pay attention to details. My daughters loved the big backyard right on the water, and the screened-in porch was the perfect place to enjoy meals and watch the stunning sunset. We will definitely return to this house.

20th anniversary in KDH

Perfect spot for history/ocean/food lovers. Despite the oppressive heat we ventured to the Wilbur Wright Museum, Roanoke, Duck, Corolla (saw horses!) lighthouses and more! The house was a great, close location to it all, clean, A/C worked great for our afternoon naps and comfy nights of sleep. I only wish we had more time. Next time Iā€™d like to see Okrakoke and rent kayaks to enjoy the sound.

Unsuspecting delight!

Donā€™t be fooled by first impressions or the modest look of this place when you pull in the driveway. This quaint little house is nestled on water with a perfect 180 degree view the beautiful sound! The accommodations exceeded our expectations for a weekend get-away. Two couples were able to stay and enjoy every aspect of this place - even during the rain. Take time to enjoy a sunset from the back deck, take a walk on the greenway, and if you have a chance head over to the beach!! We will definitely try to stay here again! The property host is amazing and extremely helpful!

The house was a perfect size for the four of us. Remarkably clean which is always a ten for me.

Loved the view from the rocking chairs in the back yard, it was awesome to look at the bay and the boats by while having your morning coffee. You couldn't go wrong renting the bay house.

Prime location!

Clean, quiet, and ideally located house on the sound. We loved the proximity to the beach, the dunes, the Wright brothers museum and more. The walk/bike path right out the front door was a huge bonus for morning jogs and we loved fishing off the private dock. Communication with Lindsey was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful View

We had a wonderful time at the Bay House. The sunset was beautiful every evening. Very comfy house! We really enjoyed learning how to play the hook and ring game downstairs. My husband and I went on a walk every morning. We will be back! Thanks so much for sharing your house with us!

Soundside Sunsets

My husband and I enjoyed the location on the water so much. Beautiful Sunsets. We ate all our meals on the screened in back porch. We tried fishing from the dock. No luck catching fish but it was a great view and a relaxing calming peaceful dock on the on the bay. House was just as described. In excellent location.

My husband and I purchased this home after living just houses down when we first met. We fell in love with this location and knew we'd be back one day! The Bay House fell into our laps and we ran with it making it our own! We knew we wanted to share it with people! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!
