We had a lovely stay! This home is beautiful and so cozy. It was very well stocked and the location was perfect. Very easy access to the beach which is great with small kids. The property was incredibly clean inside and out. We would absolutely stay again!

Carolyn was very responsive to any questions we had which made the rental process stress free. The location and views from the house are fantastic, and the home was plenty comfortable for 6 people. Because the home is toward the southern end of Nags Head, it was quieter, but close enough to attractions, shopping and dining. This was our first time to OBX and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

This home was all that and more. Located in the perfect spot with just a few steps to the ocean. Well stocked kitchen and lots of outdoor seating. Loved our time here and we will be back. Host was amazing

We had a wonderful visit to Carolyn’s home. She was a great communicator and made our stay easy. The house was cozy and just right with great views. The walk to the beach was mere steps and made it easy for trips back and forth with children. Thanks for a great vacation Carolyn!

There is nothing to complain about with this home/location it was perfect. It's the exact definition of a obx beach vacation home, the decorations and pictures are awesome! Such a great relaxing stay. Such a wonderful place to enjoy a week at the beach. Everything you need and then some. The owner was very responsive and friendly. Just a amazing experience. The kitchen was fully equipped, comfortable beds, a short walk to the beach, also a close drive to the ORV ramps if you prefer to drive on the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a obx beach vacation.

The cottage was exactly as it appears in the pics online. It’s cute and comfortable and clean. Carolyn was just wonderful every step of the way - from booking and check-in to following up with us during our stay. She even left us a personal note welcoming us! The cottage location was great as well. Second house from the beach yet close to everything. Although I’ve been to Nags Head before I was surprised at the water this time. Beautiful colors, dozens of dolphins, giant sea turtles….. just gorgeous! The crows nest gave a breathtaking view of the night sky. Our family of adults had a great time catching up, playing games (although we brought our own - there are tons provided!) and just really decompressing. Shout out to Mother Nature for providing us with a perfect week of weather ;). Overall absolute great place to vacation!! Thank you Carolyn!

Fantastic place to stay!

We loved our stay at Saltwater Cure. It was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. The views of the ocean and short walk to the beach made it even better.

Perfect Beach Cottage

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The house is great with just a short walk to the beach. There's great views from the crows nest that helped us wind down our night. We definitely recommend this property.

Location! Location! Location! This house is perfect with younger kids if you have to go back and forth to the beach. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and would be happy to stay here again in the future. A very quiet street with no traffic.

Great House and Location!

The house couldn’t be in a better location and was very clean. Everything you could want/need in a beach vacation. Highly recommend.

Salt water cure

Wonderful family beach vacation

This is one of the nicest rental homes we have ever stayed in: beautifully decorated, well stocked, and lots of personal touches. The location is right on the beach and close to great local spots. The views from the decks are perfect, and it’s a child-friendly home. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay next to the beach!

Saltwater cure was the perfect small house for a family. The house is very close to the beach with great views of the ocean. There are plenty of places to relax both inside and outside the house including a third story viewing deck. The check-in and check out process was very simple and painless. We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and we can't wait to stay there again.

Truly a saltwater cure!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Carolyn is a gracious and thoughtful host. Sadly the weather cut our trip short but we so loved our time there.
