3 Leaf Ranch welcomes you to escape, unwind & recharge! Our ranch is a very private estate located on 6 acres centrally located just a few miles from Santa Ynez, Solvang and Los Olivos.

We offer the best of both worlds, freshly rebuilt and reimagined guest home in a comfortable ranch setting. You and your guests can relax in style and elegance as you enjoy the privacy and experience of being out at the ranch which houses horses, cattle and chickens. Enjoy our expansive manicured grounds with beautiful water fountains, mature trees, herb & rose gardens, tree swings, pastures, riding arena and covered horse corrals all facing the breath taking Figueroa Mountains.

The newly remodeled 1,400 square foot guest home offers a full size kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, A/C and heater, washer and dryer along with an inviting, sizable outdoor deck which oversees the property and vast mountain views.

Additionally, we allow our guests to privately enjoy our expansive unique & fun barn to hangout after an adventurous day of interacting with our animals. Each booking is independent so there is no shared space with other guests!

The Santa Ynez Valley is noted for the horse enthusiast so if you're in town for a horse show, clinic or trail ride we offer several spacious steel pipe covered corrals with automatic water troughs for your horse(s).

If you can pull yourself away, meander down quiet roads to wineries, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails and so much more. We highly recommend local favorites: Clairmont Lavendar Farm, Ostrichland, Global Gardens Olive Oil tasting, Seein Spots Petting Farm, the popular Ballard Inn and the list goes on.
For the beach goers or surfers, we suggest the easy 24 mile drive to Gaviota Beach or ride your horses along miles of coastline at Grover Beach. For the golfer in the group, visit Alisal Ranch and Resort a short 4 miles away. If you're feeling lucky, The Chumash Casino is 3.7 miles away and is a gambler's paradise!

Beautifully decorated little house in a peaceful setting. Our little grand daughter enjoyed the swing and discovered the horses and chickens. Had a walk to see the donkeys and breakfast at Bobā€™s. Short ride to Vega to feed the sheep and pigs to please our little grand daughter. Great stay !

Spacious bedrooms and luxury kitchen nestled on a beautiful farm. We felt very welcomed and our kids loved feeding the horses and checking for eggs in the chicken coupe. After the kids went to sleep we enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing under the stars. The property is close to our favorite wineries and all the towns. Great for all ages and a true 5 star property.

Lovely ranch, great location!

We had a great stay at Three Leaf Ranch. We found the location to be excellent. You can easily walk to Bob's Well Bread Ballard, and it's a quick drive into Solvang or Los Olivos. We loved getting to feed the mini donkeys and visit with the chickens. Stacy was responsive by text and welcoming and friendly to us. We loved reading in the afternoons by the horse area, one day we even saw a rainbow over the valley! Thank you for a great stay!

Jewel of a property

Truly amazing, a jewel of a property! The house was roomy and comfortable and the setting could not be more beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Our host, Stacy, opened up an adjoining barn which had a pool table, darts and a variety of other games. Short walk to an incredible bakery in Ballard, Bob's Well Bread. Convenient to drive to Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang and Los Alamos.

An amazing escape to a wonderful wine country destination. A beautifully appointed and immaculate home with all the amenities! Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Solvang so close for great shopping, restaurants, and wineries. The Santa Ynez valley is just beautiful. Beautiful Oasis

My spirits always lift as as we begin the descent from the mountains into the Santa Ynez Valley. My wife and I have been coming to Santa Ynez for many years, drawn back again and again by its natural beauty, amazing wineries & restaurants, and lovely people. Our stay at 3 Leaf Ranch was the best of our many visits. The property is centrally located to make it an easy drive to the best of the valley, and the pictures do not do the property justice. The guest house is lovely, and the amazing mountain vistas during the day become stunning views of starlit skies at night. You wonā€™t go wrong with a stay at the property.

Amazing stay at the 3 leaf ranch

Our visit to the 3 leaf ranch was extraordinary. We loved every bit of our stay. The host was very welcoming and showed us around. She was so nice that she let the kids feed and pet the animals. It was really nice of her to do that. The kids loved the barn and the animals. The barn was amazing. There was a pool table, darts, a skateboard, and much more. The house had two nice beds, and a big kitchen, along with 2 cute bathrooms. Overall the stay was a definite 5 stars.

Truly Amazing!

We booked this property for my wife's birthday. The minute we drove through the gates we knew we were in for something special. The ranch was absolutely amazing with so much to do. Our favorite highlights were playing darts/billiards in the barn, feeding the horses and petting the miniature donkeys. The hosts (Stacy & Chris) were extremely attentive and wonderful hosts. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be back! I big thank you to Stacy & Chris!

Serene and fun!

Beautiful property, relaxing and picturesque. We wanted an experience that our kids 13&11 would enjoy and remember. The first evening we were there, Stacy took them out and showed them how to feed the horses and donkeys. They absolutely loved learning from her how to maintain a farm (weā€™re city folk!). The next morning the kids were eager to go out again with her. We loved the sprawling ranch, where we could spread out and take advantage of the amazing barn that had darts, billiards and an incredible bar with saddle seats! Nothing was off limits, truly we could move around the property with ease. Will stay here again, hopefully we can get away soon!

What an amazing weekend. I truly felt like we were on the set of the hit show Yellowstone. The setting is perfect in every way. The party barn, the guest house, the ranch animals are all part of the spectacular get away. Cannot wait to return. I might even buy a cowboy hat of my own.

Perfect Girls Wine Weekend Getaway

3 Leaf Ranch lived up to every expectation. It is such a unique property bursting with character and a keen attention to detail. We had the perfect ranch stayā€¦cozy, clean and charming inside with a gorgeous outdoor area to enjoy. We made friends with the horses and donkeys, had a blast playing darts and pool in the recreational barn, enjoyed a cool early morning walk taking in the beautiful landscape and neighboring homes and picked up Bobā€™s Well Bread for a morning snack, which is right around the corner (mile walk). It is so central to all of the major wine stops and great restaurants/dining. The owners were very communicative and everything was accessible and easy. This was truly such a special memorable girls tripā€¦we will certainly be back again!

Best Stay EVER!

We had an absolutely PHENOMENAL time at 3-Leaf Ranch! The property was stunning - super clean, beautifully appointed, amazing garden, and incredible panoramic views of the hills surrounding the property. Stacey and Chris are wonderful hosts - welcoming, caring, responsive - they both went above and beyond to make us feel like family during our stay! A memorable highlight was having Stacey and Chris allow our kids to help out during the daily animal feeding routines (Horses! Donkey! Chickens!). Our kids LOVED this farm experience and have already started asking us when we can return. This is truly a unique and special vacation stay for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Best sister trip EVER!!

We had the most amazing time at 3 Leaf Ranch! My two sisters and I stayed for five days. The house and property are beautiful. We brought two of our horses with us, and the facilities for them were perfect. There was plenty of room for trailer parking, beautiful stalls/sand paddocks with large automatic water troughs, and a gorgeous arena to ride in. We could also trail ride right from the property. Our wonderful host Stacy also gave us the awesome recommendation of taking the horses to Grover Beach, which is only about a 45 minute drive from the house. We had such an amazing time, the horses were happy and comfortable, and we will definitely be coming back! Gemma G

Perfect family getaway!

The description and photos donā€™t do justice to the amazing location, stay and hospitality of the 3 Leaf Ranch owners. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and access to vehicles was fantastic. And to top that off - the horses, roosters, chickens and mini donkeys are excellent ambassadors! We really enjoyed the extra entertaining space inside the remodeled barn and the ability to do laundry. And according to my husband and son, the living room chair was the most comfortable ever. A three minute drive away (or you could walk!) is Bobā€™s Well Bread for coffee, breakfast and lunch, and we also recommend eating at Nella in Los Olivos. Curious about the best activities for you whole party? Which wineries or horse back rides are kid friendly? The hosts have you covered! There is an entire notebook full of suggestions and we couldnā€™t fit in all we wanted to do. Book a stay here and you will be very glad you did!

A Wonderful Stay and Change of Pace

We stayed here at the front of our spring break with our two little boys and it was everything we hoped for and exceeded our expectations. Stacy and Chris were so welcoming to our family, and really helped ensure our boys (especially our 7 year old) got the most out of the time around the property and arounds the horses, donkeys and animals. The quiet change of pace, wonderful scenery and property along my boys obsession with what the animals were doing at any given moment made this the perfect family getaway. Not to mention, it's conveniently located near Solvang, Los Olivos, and wineries for some afternoon wine tasting. We'll definitely be back again and again.

Perfect family getaway

It is hard to put into words how special this property is! From the views to the animals to the decor, it is truly the ranch escape our family of 3 was looking for. We spent slow early mornings "visiting" the animals with warm coffee and enjoyed cooking in the extremely well appointed kitchen with all of the fresh produce we bought in the area during the day. Stacey's passion for 3 Leaf Ranch has translated seamlessly into an ideal guest experience. She went out of her way to engage our toddler in all the ranch had to offer and provided us with excellent recommendations during our stay. We cannot wait to come back.

Excellent Accommodations, Treasured Memories!!

We booked this trip to spend our New Years Eve weekend at 3leafranch with family. I can't think of a better way to have brought in 2022! You will not be disappointed if you book this property for your trip to the beautiful and quiet wine country. The ranch house was comfortable, beautifully decorated and incredibly well appointed. The grounds were idyllic and made you not want to leave. Lux linens and products. Perfectly equipped kitchen for foodies. Attention to every detail! Stacy has thought through and included every detail a guest would need into the home. She has created the perfect retreat and takes care to ensure that her guests are well cared for. A completely peaceful and beautiful place to stay and make memories! Sheer perfection! I highly recommend this property and hope to return. Thank you Stacy and Chris for sharing your beautiful place with us! We will treasure the memories forever!

Roblar Winery is less than 2 miles away and they have hitching posts and welcome riders. You may also ride on miles of coastline at Grover Beach.
