The Santa Ynez Guest House was completely remodeled in 2023. It offers 2 comfortable ensuite bedrooms, a well stocked chef's kitchen with a gathering island and open floor plan to the living space. A beautiful and private back yard is the perfect place to relax in the morning and evening with your favorite beverage.
This farm country chic guesthouse is in the center of the Santa Ynez Wine Country, just minutes from downtown SY, Solvang and Los Olivos. Relax at home or venture out to the Chumash Casino try one of our unique local restaurants or spend the day hiking and horseback riding and so much more.

We had a wonderful time! Great set up for 2 couples.Everything is new and beautiful. Great location too. Need better blackout drapes in Master and both mattresses were very soft and could be much better. We loved the fire pit!

This guest house is the perfect place to stay. Every little detail in the house was great. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend staying here. Can’t say enough about how awesome it was.

Beautiful. Clean. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Perfect place to stay for exploring St.Inez and Solvang.Host is super responsive and has thought of everything- including steamer, lots of hangers, big mirrors and hair dryers and list of local recommendations for groceries, shopping and eating.Highly recommend.

Great Spot

Out of all the places I have stayed this Vrbo is up there with the best of all time. Would 100% come back again. The beds were so comfy it made it hard to wake up. Great location as well.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great weekend at the Edison Guest House. The property is immaculate and they’ve thought of everything. Great location; close to Solvang, terrific hikes nearby, and not far from Santa Barbara. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic stay in wine country

The house was beautiful and had every amenity. The beds were comfortable, the fire pit in the backyard was such a nice spot to unwind in the evening and put out great heat. We were so close to all of the wineries and downtown Solvang and Los Olivos. The vacation and home were top notch!!

We had a terrific 4 night stay at this nicely decorated modern farmhouse. The decorator colors throughout are beautifully done with soft neutrals, warm accents, and just the right pop of colors. The furnishings are comfortable and inviting. We spent our days wine tasting and enjoying many of the terrific restaurants nearby. Nights were cool so it was great to sleep inder the covers without having to run the AC. We loved our visit and we hope to come back soon.

Santa Ynez Wedding

Property was excellent for the four of us to attend a wedding at a local winery. Cottage had a perfect layout with two bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. Hope to stay here again.

Family wine getaway

The property was very new, clean, & bright. The location was great as it was extremely close to the quaint towns of Santa Ynez and Solvang. The wine tasting and eating opportunities were amazing. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful Christmas stay we had at the Edison Carriage house. This is such a cute place. Everything was in new or like-new condition and had everything we needed to make it our home away from home.We had a small snafu, not worth mentioning except to say how well it was handled. Jordan sent out plumbers quickly who were friendly and fixed the issue within minutes. Each time I contacted Jordan before our stay and since, he responded quickly and appropriately. Very professional.We will not hesitate to stay here again and we highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the beautiful Santa Ynez valley.Thank you Jordan!

Edison Cottage

My wife and I did an extended wine weekend with our in-laws, it was a great time with the two bedroom en suites and we had plenty of privacy as well as a nice open living space. The back patio with fire pit was amazing at night and we also utilize the barbecue and made a great steak dinner one night.

Lovely and comfie

The property was lovely and very comfortable. We especially loved the beds/beddingand the backyard with fire pit. The firepit did go off and on A suggestion would be a dining set for meals and game playing rather just a bar and stools which wasn’t the most comfortable. The location was great!

Cutest Vrbo ever!

We absolutely loved our stay at Edison House! The small details made such a big difference. Such an adorable house, very clean, and loved the comfortable beds. Also great location in between Los Olivos and Santa Ynez. Would 100% come back! The property manager was very helpful and communicative as well! He made our stay so special for my friends birthday weekend!

Beautiful property - Loved my stay

I stayed for two nights here while attending a wedding. It was very very clean and had all the supplies I needed. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable. Everything worked and I had no issues. The back patio is lovely and peaceful.

Absolutely perfect!

We came down to Los Olivos with another couple for some wine tasting and relaxing without our kids. The property is gorgeous as described and as pictured. This was the perfect spot to relax by the fire pit after wine tasting. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms are gorgeous too. We will be back!

Fabulous stay!

What a beautiful house! Brand new, beautiful finishes. Comfortable beds and linens, great fully stocked kitchen and spacious bathrooms. Our favorite part was the outdoor space. We enjoyed the firepit and hanging out with the horse next door while we ate breakfast outside. Great location. So close to everything in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley! We will definitely be back!

Father’s Day weekend

Lovely home

We were 2 couples staying over the new years holiday. We stayed there last year and had such a great time, we came back this year. The house is immaculate and comfortable, with 2 en suite bedrooms. The backyard with the firepit was a nice place to sit after a long day of hiking and wine tasting. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was very well equipped, with everything you would need. We highly recommend it.

Stylish & Comfy Retreat

Beautifully appointed, well equipped, quiet, very clean, and comfortable guest house in a great location to experience the cute and culinary towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang and award winning Foxen Canyon wineries! We enjoyed the high end new kitchen, nicely decorated private large backyard in the morning with coffee and the birds chirping then in the evening around the fire pit under the string lights looking at the starry sky. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay in the area for a relaxing getaway with privacy and ability to prepare meals or BBQ.
