This is an attractive Mediterranean Style guest house extension, with beautiful in ground pool and spa, red tiled roof on 5 acres.
It is located just a short 1 mile walk or drive into the little village of Santa Ynez with it's coffee shops and restaurants.
It is totally private with it's own driveway and entrance.
A peaceful retreat with beautiful views and a natural seasonal stream at the bottom of the property, with many activities nearby.

Free High speed internet access. Flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and lounge, A laundry room and well equipped kitchen.Although on 5 acres, this is 1 miles from Santa Ynez and 5 miles tp Solvang stores and amenities.
There are wine tasting and winery tours at the over 70 local wineries. These include Firestone, Fess Parker, Gainey, Sunstone etc. There are brochures and dining suggestions in the guest house.

Also found nearby are a Miniature horse ranch, Alpaca and Ostrich Ranches, and the Chumach Casino. There are also the Vintage Motorcycle, Museum, the Elverhoy Museum, the Maverick Saloon, and several famous horse ranches with Andalusians, Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Peruvian Pasos and many more. Monty Robert's famous 'join up' program is only 15 minutes away.

Great cycling trails in the area. There is cycling store for bicycle and Ebike rentals and cycling tours, nearby.

The following items are all present and available for your use;
Coffee maker, coffee, sugar, olive oil, vegetable oil, vinegar, assorted condiments and spices, salt & pepper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper, and a variety of other cleaning and laundry products.

There are excellent public golf courses within a few miles, and the unheated pool and heated spa are for you to relax in.

Note there are monthly reduced rates.

The are no nearby neighbors and you will have have plenty of social distancing

Great Hosts

Colin and Rosi were great hosts and very warm and friendly with us in our four day stay. Everything was perfect for us with a wonderful pool on five acres in beautiful Santa Ynez. We had a very good time there and in the valley. They made it all so relaxing and quiet.We would love to stay again.Five stars.

Great property for exploring Santa Ynez Valley

Greeted by warm and friendly hosts upon arrival. Everything was as described. Location is great with Santa Ynez, Solvang and Los Olivos all a short drive away. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics and the beds and sofa were super comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub as well. Would stay again and recommend. Thanks!

Family

We travel with our two Great Dane boys Doc and Wyatt and it’s not always easy finding a place that allows them. We visit my mother in law once a year in solvang so this was a perfect spot in between! This area is great for walking! Colin and Rosi are anmazing host's and very helpful! Thank you for a great relaxing week!

Enjoyment in Santa Ynez

We enjoyed the beautiful setting in Santa Ynez as well as the roominess, convenience and comfort of our rental. We had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and did everything for us to enjoy our stay. The pool was very refreshing and enjoyable on the warm days. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable stay in Santa Ynez Valley

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this private spacious guest house adjacent to the host's home Colin and Rosi. They are a very nice welcoming and accommodating couple who have lived in the area for many years, and therefore knowledgeable with many recommendations to places to explore. We spent our 33rd anniversary here for 5 days, and this was a great location with multiple winerys/vineyards in the immediate vicinity. The Danish town of Solvang is 5 minutes away. It was also a great place to venture both north and south to explore places like Hearst Castle, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, and Santa Barbara. We would highly recommend staying here if interested in exploring this beautiful area.

4th of July Get-Away

We enjoyed our visit at Colin and Rosi's guesthouse. The location is great to visit the town of Santa Ynez (within walking distance), and easy trips to Los Olivos and Solvang. We enjoyed the peace and quiet there with our two dogs (lots of space to run around) and tasted some delicious wines from local wineries. Colin and Rosi are great hosts and welcomed us as soon as we got there and gave us a quick tour of the property and highlighted the local area. We had everything we needed and had a great time!! Thank you!

Favorite Getaway

This is our 3rd year staying at Colin and Rosi's home and we just love it. They are great hosts and offer a great, clean and comfortable place to stay. They have everything you need in their home. Their property is quiet and dog friendly. We hope to go there again next year.

Great friendly hosts & clean spacious house

Colin & Rosi are friendly, helpful hosts! The house & surrounding property are clean & spacious with everything that our family needed for our stay here, including comfortable beds, sofa, WiFi, fridge, stove, dishes, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine/dryer, swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay here in this nice, peaceful town.

Wonderful property

This was a great place to stay for our visit to Santa Ynez, and Colin and Rosi are wonderful hosts. It's convenient to everything in the area, and peaceful and comfortable. Great spot for morning walks into town and to come back to after a day exploring. We would definitely recommend it, and hope to come back for another visit ourselves.

Just Great!

I spent Christmas 2023 at this beautiful guest house. It is comfortable, nicely appointed and perfectly located. I had my very senior dog with me and he was very comfortable as well. Colin and Rosi are the nicest people you could hope for and they took great care to ensure that we had all we needed. My pal who stayed in town thought the house was lovely as well. We cannot wait to return!

Wine tour

We had a wonderful stay with Colin and Rosi. The house is cozy and met all of our expectations. Our hosts were gracious and helpful and were there for our many questions and with excellent recommendations for wineries and restaurants. The pool and spa were lovely.

Santa Ynez was spectacular

Nice place for relaxing time

Great place on the countryside. Perfect for relaxation by a fantastic pool. We also enjoyed the nearby restaurants and Winery’s. Colin and Rosi are so nice and friendly.

Restful retreat

My husband and I just spent three days in Santa Ynez and stayed at Colin and Rossi’s property. The property is peaceful, quiet and located within walking distance of Santa Ynez town. Colin and Rossi couldn’t have been more welcoming and genuine. They were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed two afternoons at the pool. The water was very clean and refreshing and two nights in the spa under the stars was heavenly. We had the pool and spa to ourselves and enjoyed a very private stay. Lovely place to get away from it all.

A fantastic property with amazing people

This was a top tier stay for me and my wife. Colin and Rosi were amazing they gave a tour of the property and a brief history about themselves. They also let the groomsmen (10 total) in the wedding party I was apart of a come over and get ready at their space. They offered to help every time they could. I don't think I have ever stayed with better host. I just want to thank them both for everything!

Perfect location

We’ve stayed in the Santa Ynez Valley several times. Cooper’s Creek is in a great location and the hosts, Colin and Rosi, are lovely and welcoming. Perfect accommodations for a couple looking for a getaway in the Valley. Close to many good restaurants and tasting rooms in SY, Los Olivos and Solving. We’ll be back! Ann and Bob

Fantastic Stay

Colin and Rosi were excellent hosts! The guest house was perfect for our New Years stay and were able to bring our 2 pups. The house was centrally located to wineries and Solvang. We will definitely be going back when it’s warmer so we can use the pool and spa!

Lovely property and owners

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in this very cozy, comfortable and clean apartment. There were thoughtful touches like reading lamps at the bedside, a towel warmer, coffee and other essentials. A nice patio outside is available with a table for eating and lounge chairs for enjoying the sun. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of outlets for charging electronics (a challenge in other rentsls). The owners are lovely, welcoming people-we enjoyed chatting with them and would stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

We love the people, the weather, the facilities. We have lived in many parts of the world and Santa Ynez is one of the very best. We have been in the valley for over 20 years. It is also warmer and drier here than at the California coast.
