My wife, 5 year old son and I went on a trip to Yellowstone, and stayed for 5 days. The cabin was clean, roomy, and had enough space. The actual property is gorgeous, and we loved waking up every morning to the sights of horses with the Western background of the red mountains. It was 30 minutes from the Yellowstone entrance, and 25 minutes from Cody. Even though it was remote, it didn't feel remote. We had many things to do in the area. Cody was super cool, and we loved Trail Town (great for the kid).
Keep in mind... this is a cabin, not a hotel room. That is to say, it is an old building, and it is a bit drafty, and there were many bugs, which is to be expected. If you don't like nature, perhaps this cabin is not for you. But we loved it... The shower is hot, and the kitchen (although it has no burners, or cooking items, or utensils) was fine for prepping simple meals.
The owners Doug and Yvonne were fantastic, and very friendly, without being imposing. They let us do what we want, and we walked the property, and even offered to play with our son (boat races in the creek!). They were welcoming hosts.
Overall, this was an A+ experience, and I would recommend it for nature lovers, and small families (two adults, two kids max), and others who would spend a lot of time away from the cabin, but who wants a serene cabin to return to. Loved it!
