Alcoba Markos is a well-appointed bedroom accommodation, part of a larger condominium residence, available to rent separately. Generally we rent this as an addition to the main unit, https://airbnb.com/h/miradormarkos. The room has a separate entrance from the main unit. Features a king-size bed with an en suite bath, walk-in shower, and closet storage, a large-screen flat panel television and soundbar, and Netflix service, along with a mini-fridge, microwave, and tea kettle. This interior room features a private entrance and a window that opens into the open-air hallway which leads to the unit. No exterior views. The adjoining bath is decorated with stone and ceramic tile, contemporary fixtures, and a glass walk-in shower, and includes a full complement of towels and a hairdryer. Keep cool with quiet mini-split air conditioning and ceiling fans. Although the interior unit is relatively quiet, a white noise machine with many adjustments is included. While Alcoba Markos is a luxury room in a beautiful building located in a great part of Puerto Vallarta, due to the size and location in the building, we do not recommend stays longer 7-10 days for two people Our local property management professionals will meet you to check you in, show you the features of the unit, and orient you to the residence and surrounding area. They can provide concierge services -- book airport transportation, tours or activities, personal chef services, personal chef services, or extra housecleaning for an additional charge. Enough beaches, pools, galleries, and nightlife options to fill several vacations. Los Muertos beach and the Malecón boardwalk are steps away. Everything from fine dining to street tacos are within a few blocks. Best of all, there are no hills to climb up or down to get home when you return.

Great location, a little pricey

This property is in a great location in the heart of Zona Romantica. That said, it was a bit pricey for one room without a kitchen, view, etc. Staff, fellow renters, and building residents were all friendly, professional, and courteous. I had friends, who happened to be staying in the adjoining 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo, which made all the difference. Front desk attendant, Marco, was an added bonus.

Clean, new, perfectly located, great value, comfortable, modern-ammenities,

This property has it all and the room was beautiful! As soon as I walked in it felt like a high end hotel in the most glamorous hotel. The bathroom had a glass enclosed marble shower with rain shower. The bed super comfortable. You cannot beat the location! I could walk out and be thick in the restaurants and 3 blocks from all the bars, shops, and cabarets. Minutes from the Malecón. The building has great security and the rooftop pool and gym are amazing with everything you need. The owners were very quick to respond to the minor power outage likely due to the building of a new restaurant downstairs. I loved that it did not have a window because I got to sleep in every day which for me o never get to do so that enhanced my vacation. Perfect place to stay. I’d stay again The room had a strong WiFi connnection and great air conditioning and one rainy day I was able to watch Netflix with ease. Lots of closet space and a perfect room for one to two. Overall loved it. Only feedback is the water pressure was just ok and the hot water did not stay hot for long showers

Great building, location and owners

Owners very responsive, easy to deal with and wanting guests to enjoy their stay. Incredible rooftop, amazing service from everyone in the building. Front street a bit on the noisy side. Standard hotel room size. We wish we’d known that there was no window facing the outside of the building.

We came here the first time for New Years with some friends, and quickly fell in love with the city, the beaches, the weather, the people, the restaurants, and the non-stop flight options from the Pacific Northwest.

When we decided we wanted to buy a place of our own in Vallarta, we spent a LOT of time thinking about what it should be. We're not lucky enough to be able to live here full time for several years more, so in the meanwhile we wanted to find an ideal combination of a place we love to be, in a great location, in a beautiful city, where we think lots of other people will enjoy staying, too. We settled on this building, Oceana, on the "restaurant row" of Basilio Badillo.

We hope you enjoy the well appointed room, the rooftop pool and other amenities of Oceana Vallarta. We have MANY recommendations about things to do, restaurants to try, night life recommendations, and more.

Oceana Vallarta itself is a wonderful new building in an excellent location, surrounded by restaurants, shops, theaters, art galleries, and night life -- all without any hills to climb up or down. The rooftop includes one of the best equipped condo gym facilities in old town.
